Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the influence of productive business funds towards the fishermen?s income in Sungai Limau Village Sungai Kunyit District Of mempawah.  The method in this research is the descriptive. This is a  correlational research. The number of samples in this research is 60 fishermen. The sampling technique in this research is saturation sampling. Data collection techniques in this research are direct communication techniques (interview guidelines), indirect communication techniques (questionnaire), and documentary techniques (documentations). The results of this research showed that (1) the percentage of productive business funds variable  in Sungai Limau Village Sungai Kunyit District Of mempawah is 71.67% in medium category with the interval 44,57% ? X <50,49%, (2) the percentage of the fishermen?s income variable is 66,66% in medium category with the interval 21,31% ? X <26,65%,(3) t count 4,986> t table 2,002 so that Ho rejected and Ha is accepted then there is significant influence of productive business fund for fishermen?s income in Sungai Limau Village Sungai Kunyit District Of mempawah for 30%. Keywords: Funds, Productive Business, Fishermen?s Income

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to improve reading comprehension in narrative texts to the ninth grader at SMPN 1 Singkawang. The researcher applied four strategies taken from Westwood: carefully viewing and overviewing what to be read, self questioning, selectively reading and summarizing. These strategies were implemented through three sequences; pre-viewing, while viewing and post viewing. The study showed that the use of video subtitles gave positive implication which effected on learning improvement. A set of sequences in video subtitles assisted the students in understanding the text, interpreting words, and improve their vocabularies. The students’ attitude towards their reading comprehension have improved, which was shown engaged actively during the learning process and their responses towards the strategy used. Moreover, the students also improved their score. Thus, it indicated that the learning process have run well and have increased individual performance. Abstract

AbstractThe general problem of this research is whether by using the media of rigid board on the learning of flat wake reflection can improve student learning result of fourth grade SDN 06 Sukaramai Kapuas Hulu. The method used is descriptive method with class action research form. The research procedure consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of the fourth grade students who numbered 14 people. Technique of data collecting technique of direct observation and measurement technique. Data collection tool of observation sheet and test of student learning result. The ability of teachers in planning the learning in cycle I obtained an average of 3.68, in cycle II obtained an average of 3.88 and in cycle III obtained an average of 3.93. The ability of teachers to implement flat wake reflection learning using a fixed board media in cycle I obtained an average of 3.03, in cycle II obtained an average of 3.54 and in cycle III obtained an average of 3.93. The average achievement of student learning outcomes in cycle I is 70,71 in cycle II 80 and in cycle III is 87,5. It was concluded that the use of rigid board media on flat wake reflection learning can improve the learning outcomes of fourth graders of SD Negeri 06 Sukaramai Kapuas Hulu. Keywords: Rigid Board Media, Learning Outcomes, Reflection Learning

Abstract

Abstract Science learning in early childhood has a very important role in helping lay the foundation of the ability and formation of the expected human resources. Awareness of the importance of learning science in children will be even higher when realizing that we live in a dynamic, evolving and changing world that is even more and more toward the future, increasingly requires science. Science development in Kindergarten will be carried out well when using the right method. The general objective in this study was to determine the Application of Science Learning Methods in Children Aged 5-6 years in PAUD Laboratory Model Muhammadiyah University of Pontianak. The conclusion of this study is that the teacher does not apply only one method of learning when conducting activities but the teacher combines several learning methods that are in accordance with the material to be delivered. Teachers are expected to pay attention to the method used and the steps in using the learning method so that the learning objectives are well implemented. Keywords: Early Childhood, Learning Methods, Science

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the use of video learning as the media in increasing student activity and student learning outcomes. The method used in this research was descriptive method with classroom action research as the form of research. The subjects of this study were Senior High School 10 Pontianak class X, which was 35 students. The data collection technique was direct observation with two observation sheets, they were student learning activities and educator ability observation sheets, as the tool of the data collection. The indicators seen from learning activities were (1) visual activities (2) oral activities (3) listening activities (4) writing activities (5) mental activities and (5) emotional activities. It can be concluded that using video learning as the media can improve student activity and learning outcomes in Senior High School 10 Pontianak class X. Keywords: Media, Learning Activity, Students Score

Abstract

AbstractThis research discussed about the block system learning model in vocational productive subjects at SMK-SMTI Pontianak. The school held the productive subjects about 2 (two) up to 3 (three) weeks. Therefore, the students did not get physical education subject and the schedule lesson is random in every week. The aim of this research was to know students’ interest in block system learning in physical education subject at SMK-SMTI Pontianak. The research method was a quantitative descriptive study. The researcher also used the survey method. The sample of this research were the eleventh grade students of SMK-SMTI Pontianak, which consist73 students. The instrument of research was a questionnaire. Technique of data collection was to pour the frequency into a percentage. The results of this research was students’ interest to block system learning in physical education subject at SMK-SMTI Pontianak was very high with the highest frequency considering in the high category with 38 students or 52.05%. Therefore, the researcher concluded that students’ interest in block system learning in physical education subject at SMK-SMTI Pontianak was very high which 38 students or 52.05% and high which 35 students or 47.95%. Keywords: block system, learning interest, physical education.

Abstract

摘要:本文的主要目的是了解汉字偏旁教学对学生学习汉字的效果,是否有效,提高学生认识汉字的能力。研究对象是坤甸国立第三中学理科一班和 理科二班三年级的学生,共有70名学生(男生22名;女生48名)。研究方法是测试法、实验法和统计法。根据本文的教学实验以及前后测的统计与分析,笔者了解到,通过了汉字偏旁教学后,学生对汉字的正确率明显提高了,学生对汉字的掌握能力大部分都已经达到90%以上。这表示汉字偏旁教学很有效,会帮助学生更容易认识汉字与会提高学生的认识汉字的能力。从而取得更好的教学效果。 关键词:汉字;汉字教学;汉字偏旁教学 Abstract : The purpose of this research is to know the effect of Chinese character component teaching method for the student to learn Chinese characters, to know that if it can increase the student ability in understanding Chinese characters. The object of this research are students of the third grade National Senior High School’s 3, science class one and science class two, with total students were 70 students (22 male; 48 female). The research method are a  method of test, practice and count method. Based on analysis of the teaching learning process in the classroom and the result in pre-test and post-test, the writer gots the result after used the Chinese character component teaching method that studets test scores increased until 90%. It shows that the using of Chinese charcter component teaching methode improve the student’s abilitity in understanding Chinese characters effectively. In conclusion, it gives a good effect in student’s learning. Key words: Chinese characters; Chinese character teaching method; Chinese character component teaching method

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research was to describe the emotional social development of childen aged 5-6 years at Islamiyah kindergarten Southeastern Pontianak. The method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data subjects in this research are teacher’s and 16 childern, which consists of 7 girls and 9 boys  of group B1 with aged 5-6 years Islamiyah Kindergarten Southeastern Pontianak. The techniques used in this research were observation, interview, and documentation using data collection tools like is observation guidelines, interview guides, and documentation picture. The results of data analysis show that the emotinal social development in children aged 5-6 years in the development of cooperative attitudes with friends still needs guidance and direction from the teacher. The development of tolerance with friends becomes better because of the successful direction of the teacher. Expressing self-emotion is uncommon and when it is quickly resolved the teacher. Get to know manners and manners always done by children. This habit is a mandatory material for teachers to convey to children in each learning process. Developing empathy with friends is more dominant initiated by the teacher, in the learning process children want to listen to other children and have agreed upon together. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to find out how well the use of Pelmanism Game in improving students? vocabulary. This research used Classroom Action Research. There were two problems encountered. First, most of the students did not know the meaning of English words. Second, most of the students mispronounced some English words. This research consisted of two cycles. The tools of data collecting were observation checklist, field note, and test. This research was implemented to 39 seventh grade students of SMP LKIA Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015. The students? responses showed that they were interested in learning vocabulary through pelmanism game. It can be seen through the students? mean score in the first cycle that was 78.7 to 90.1 in the second cycle. It can be concluded that the students? vocabulary taught by using pelmanism game improved. Keywords: Vocabulary, Game, Pelmanism Game Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan bagaimana penggunaan permainan pelmanism dalam meningkatkan kosakata siswa. Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Ada dua masalah yang ditemukan. Pertama, banyak siswa yang tidak mengetahui arti dari kata-kata dalam Bahasa Inggris. Kedua, banyak siswa yang salah dalam mengucapkan kata-kata dalam Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus. Alat yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah lembar pengamatan ceklis, catatan lapangan, dan tes. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 39 siswa kelas 7 SMP LKIA Pontianak di tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa mereka tertarik belajar Bahasa Inggris dengan permainan pelmanism. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus pertama yaitu 78,7 menjadi 90,1 pada siklus kedua. Bisa disimpulkan bahwa perbendaharaan kosakata siswa yang diajarkan melalui permainan pelmanism meningkat. Kata kunci: Kosakata, Permainan, Permainan Pelmanism

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the development of modules based on social phenomena through the development of modules based on social phenomena on the material Diversity, Religion, Race, and Intergroup within the Unity in Diversity Frame, and to see how the implementation and interest in learning by using social phenomenon-based modules with subjects Class VII student research. The research method used in this research is the development research method by combining the Borg & Gall development model with the Dick & Carrey learning design model. Data obtained through interviews, observations and tests targeting the research subjects. The flow of the implementation of this research through three main stages, namely (1) Stage of product development plan, which includes analysis of learning objectives, learning analysis, identification of student characteristics, formulating objectives and planning of learning media, (2) Stage of product development, which includes product development, develop test instruments, develop learning strategies, develop and select teaching materials, design and develop evaluation drafts, Revise learning packages, and (3) Trial and revision stages, which include small group trials, initial product revisions, medium scale tests, revisions the second product, and a large scale product. The results showed a high percentage of implementation of learning activities at 83.33% in the activities of students. The increase in interest in learning can be seen from the enthusiastic and active attitude shown by students in using and discussing examples of social phenomena that are presented. In addition, an increase in interest was obtained from the questionnaire scoring. The first scoring through learning activities using textbooks obtained an average score of 2.60 which included a low interest category, and the second suspension on learning activities using social phenomenon-based modules obtained an average score of 4.18 which included the learning interest category that was high. Through antusia and activeness of students in using modules based on social phenomena the percentage of mastery learning can be increased, from 33.33% in the pre-test implementation to 86.67% at the post-test.                       Key Word : Social Phenomenon, Interest In Learning, Modules,
