Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat soal yang tepat dan praktis untuk mengukur kemampuan komunikasi dan translasi representasi matematis siswa dalam materi aljabar.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model formative research.Subjekpenelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri 2Singkawang tahun 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 33 orang.Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1)Perangkat soal dikategorikan tepatberdasarkan penilaian validator,sertahasil perhitungan validitas konstruk, reliabilitas, daya pembeda dan tingkat kesukarandari hasil uji coba kelompok kecil;(2) Berdasarkanrespon dan hasil wawancara dengan siswa diperoleh bahwaperangkat soal dapat dikategorikan praktis untuk digunakan; (3) Soal yang dihasilkan dapat mendeksripsikan kemampuan komunikasi dan translasi representasi matematis yang dibagi ke dalam tiga kategori kemampuan (tinggi, sedang dan rendah). Dengan demikian perangkat soal layak digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan komunikasi dan translasi representasi matematis siswa.   Kata Kunci: Perangkat Soal, Kemampuan Komunikasi, Kemampuan Translasi Representasi.   Abstract: The aim of this research is to produce a test item which is right and practical to measure the ablity of communication skill and translation skill in  mathematical representation of  student in algebra. The methodologythat used in this research is a Research and Development with formative researchmodel. The subject of this research are the students of class grade VIII of junior high school in 2015/2016 at SMP N 2 Singkawang which amount 33 students. The result of data analysis show that: (1) Test items can be categorized right based on validator appraisal, andthe calculationof construct valididty, reliability, distinguishing and level of difficulty from small group; (2) Based on student responds and interview,the test itemscanbe categorized as practically to use; (3) Test items that is produced can deksriptcommunication skill and translation skillin mathematical representation ofstudents in three category skill (high, medium and low). Final conclusion the test items can be deserved to measure the communication skill and translation skillin mathematical representation of students.  Keywords:Test Items, Mathematical Communication Skill, Translation skill in Mathematical Representation.

Abstract

AbstractThe aspects of Jepin Tembung Pendek dance by M. Yusuf Dahyani has been the researcher’s interest to explore and analyze through this research. The aim of this study is to define the structure of the dance performance. This research was conducted using a descriptive method. Through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques the data were collected in the form of presentation structure of Jepin Tembung Pendek dance that comprises 3 main parts of dance (beginning, middle, and end) from the informants M Yusuf Dahyani and Anwar Dzafar. Based on the results of the interview, the dance was debuted in the 1930s. The previous basic movement of dance was created by Mr Unggal Jais from Teluk Pak Kedai. At that time, dance had not undergone any change in the components of motion, music, and costumes. The supporting elements of the dance are music, costumes, and attributes. Becoming a piece of the cultural richness, the dance of Jepin Tembung Pendek must be maintained to bring it to the next generations.   Keywords: Presentation Structure, Jepin Tembung Pendek Dance by M.Yusuf  Dahyani

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini menggali miskonsepsi siswa SD Negeri 24 Pontianak Tenggara tentang konsep-konsep cahaya. Partisipan dipilih dengan metode intact group. Sebanyak 56 siswa kelas V diberi tes diagnostik berbentuk CRI termodifikasi. Reliablitasnya ditetapkan dengan menggunakan formula KR-20 (r = 0,289). Ditemukan persentase rata-rata jumlah siswa yang miskonsepsi pada konsep-konsep cahaya sebesar 75,41%. Disarankan penelitian lanjutan untuk menggali miskonsepsi siswa dengan metode yang tepat.   Kata kunci: Konsep-konsep cahaya, miskonsepsi siswa Abstract: This study was to explore SDN 24 Southeast Pontianak students’ misconceptions in the concepts of light. Participants  were chosen by  the method of intact group. A total of 56 5th-grade students were given diagnostic test using modified  form  of CRI. Reliability’s was determined using a formula KR-20 (r = 0.289). It is found the average percentage of the quantity of students’ misconceptions in the concepts of light amounted to 75.41%. Suggestions for further study explore students’ misconceptions with  method that exactly.   Key Words: The concepts of light, student misconception

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini diarahkan untuk merancang wawancara klinis dalam bahasa Ibu yang digunakan sebagai kegiatan remediasi miskonsepsi siswa SD khususnya tentang rangkaian listrik sederhana. Sembilan orang siswa yang menggunakan bahasa Tionghua “Khek” dengan tingkat pengetahuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Masing-masing tingkat pengetahuan terdiri dari tiga orang yang ditentukan dengan cara sampling purposive. Prosedur pengumpulan data menggunakan soal pilihan ganda dengan tiga alternatif jawaban dan pedoman wawancara klinis. Perubahan miskonsepsi siswa dianalisis menurut tingkat pengetahuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah serta pengaruh penggunaan bahasa ibu dalam wawancara dan posttest. Penggunaan bahasa Ibu pada posttest lebih baik hasilnya terhadap perubahan miskonsepsi siswa. Wawancara klinis dalam bahasa Ibu yang dirancang ternyata dapat digunakan untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa SD Abdi Agape pada materi rangkaian listrik sederhana. Diharapkan kegiatan wawancara klinis dalam bahasa Ibu dapat menjadi metode alternatif untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa. Kata kunci: Wawancara klinis, remediasi miskonsepsi, rangkaian listrik sederhana Abstract: This research aims to design a clinical interview in mother tonque that can be used for decreasing elementary school students’ misconceptions especially about simple electrical circuit. Participants were 9 grade-6 students who speak Thionghua “Khek” as their mother tongue. They are respectively divided into three levels of knowledge such as high, medium, and low. Each of the level of knowledge consists of three students that have been chosen by purposive random sampling. Students’ conceptual understanding and misconceptions were prompted by a set of diagnostic test with three alternative answers and followed a clinical interview about simple electrical circuit to remediate their misconceptions. There is no significant difference of conceptual change between student with high, medium, and low level of knowledge. Usage of a mother tongue in the posttest is better than in Bahasa for the students’ conceptual change. This design of clinical interview in mother tongue can be used to foster conceptual understanding and to decrease most of the students’ misconceptions in simple electrical circuit. Abstract

AbstrctThis study aims to determine the effect of income on savings of fishing communities in Kuala Secapah Village Mempawah Hilir District Mempawah, West Kalimantan Province. The research method used is descriptive method with the form of research used is a form of relationship studies (interrelationship Studies). The results showed that there is no influence between independent variables (X) on the dependent variable (Y) based on the results of the questionnaire to the fishing community. Income of fisherman is included in very high category that is 62,2% with frequency 80 responden, but saving society of fisherman is very low because of dominant 98 responden save below 1,500.000 equal to 83,76% .Alternative of fisherman empowerment can be done by reducing dependence on loan shark. And the first step that must be done is the existence of an institution that can replace the role of loan sharks, especially in the provision of borrowing money, either for capital or other purposes. Abstract

 AbstractThe objective of this research was to know the effect of social control on violations of rules for santriwati In Darul Khairat Islamic Boarding School Pontianak through preventive, repressive, curative action, and the most effective social control. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive method. The data collection techniques were observation, interview and documentation study using data collection tools such as observation guide, interview guide and documentation. Research results proved that (1) social control through preventive action by administrators on santriwati was not well responded by santriwati. (2) social control through repressive action by administrators for santriwati could give a deterrent effect and the emergence of shyness for santriwati to repeat the violation. (3) social control through curative action by administrators for santriwati which was given after the violation could give a deterrent effect after the punishment. (4) The most effective social control was to provide punishment in the forms of reciting the Qur?an 1 juz, memorizing juz amma, cleaning the boarding yard, cleaning the WC, and went around the boarding yard with sholawat reading which resuscitated santriwati not to repeat the violation in the islamic boarding school.    Keywords: social control, violations of rules, santriwati of islamic boarding school

Abstract

       AbstrackResearch in this study focused the observation on cultural objects, namely proverbs. The proverb in question is a proverb that uses the lexicon of a name or part of a plant by Malay Sekadau community. The data was collected in Belitang 1, Belitang sub-district, Sekadau district. Researchers used qualitative methods and used an ethnolinguistic approach in their research. The analysisof the data collected is analyzing the lexical meanings, methaporical meanings, and the function of the Malay Sekadau community proverb. Based on the research conducted, the researchers succeeded in collecting 27 lexicon of the name/part of the plant in the proverbs of the Malay Sekadau community based on the classification (1) the name/part of the plant, while the classification (2) based on the topic of the proverb discussion, the researchers managed to collect 37 topics of discussion. Researchers managed to collect 4 functions of proverb in the society of Malay Sekadau. The number of proverbs that successfull researchers collect, namely 48 the number of proverbs (maxim:12, parable:32, phrase:4).    Keywords: proverbs, ethnolinguistic, lexicon of plant names

Abstract

Abstract This research is based on female student who tend to be passive in following physical education, especially on basketball game. The object of this research is VIII grade female students at SMPN 1 Sungai Raya. This research aims to determine the motivation  to follow the basketball game of VIII grade female students SMPN 1 Sungai Raya. This research is quantitative descriptive. The method used is survey method. The population of this research is all VIII grade female students SMPN 1 Sungai Raya who numbered 212 studendts. The sample of this research is the VIII grade female students, The sampling technique used is random sampling Of these technique obtained as many as 68 female students. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The technique of analysis is to change the frequency into percentage form. The result of this research indicate that the motivation of VIII grade female students to follow the basketball game is low. It is based on the most frequency in the low category as many as 23 students or 32.82%. Motivation to follow the basketball game with very high category as many as 6 students or 5.88%, high as many as 22 students or 32.35%, medium as many as 16 students or 23.53%, low as many as 23 students or 33.82% and very low as many as 3 students or 4.41%. Keywords:  Motivation, learning, basket ball, survey

Abstract

Judulpenelitianiniadalah Efektivitas Model PembelajaranTeam Assistend IndividualizationPadaMateriStrukturDasarAkuntansi Di SMA. Tujuanpenelitianiniadalahuntukmengetahuiefektivitas model pembelajaranTeam Assisted Individualization (TAI) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi struktur dasar akuntansi kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Sintang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Setting penelitian adalah di SMA Negeri 3 Sintang dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2, yang berjumlah 24 orang. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi struktur dasar akuntansi, terlihat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran ini terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklusnya dan mencapai indicator kinerja tindakan yang diharapkan. Kata kunci :Efektivitas, Team Assisted Individualization (TAI), HasilBelajar. Abstract: The title of the research is "Learning Team Effectiveness Model Assistend Individualization On Basic Structure of Matter Accounting SMA". The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the learning model Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) to improve student learning outcomes in the basic structure of the material accounting class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Sintang. The research method used is descriptive research forms Classroom Action Research (CAR). Setting the research is in SMA 3 Sintang with research subjects are students of class XI IPS 2, totaling 24 people. The results of data analysis showed that the model of learning Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) is effective in improving student learning outcomes in accounting basic structure of matter, visible by using learning model is an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle and achieve the expected performance indicator measures. Abstract

AbstractCurrently in Indonesia, especially in Pontianak , many people start to learn Mandarin, because they think that Mandarin is one of the most important subjects. But students who have never learned Mandarin, they assume that Mandarin is a very difficult language to learn. They feel that every aspect in Mandarin like consonants, vowels and tones is very difficult for them to distinguish and pronounce, because they are still influenced by their mother tongue.From this case, the authors conducted a research with imitation methods to determine the effect of imitation methods in teaching consonants to 7A grade students of SMP BinaUtama. This research used  a test method to determine changes in students 'abilities before and after teaching. The results of research was imitation method can improve students' ability to master Mandarin consonants. Keywords:  imitation method ,the consonant, test method
