Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to determine the causative factors and efforts to overcome dropouts from elementary school level in Nanga Raya Village, Belimbing Hulu District, Melawi Regency. The method used in this research is quantitative with descriptive methods. There are two data sources used, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques and tools used are in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate there are two factors that cause children to drop out of school, namely: internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are factors originating from within the child such as the low ability of children to learn, feeling lazy in learning that causes students to stay in the classroom. after staying in class the student will drop out of school. Furthermore, external factors are factors that originate from outside the child itself such as the educational background of the parents, the economic ability of the family and the environment in which they live. Then the effort to overcome so that children do not drop out of school, that is, always provide support and motivation in each child's learning process. Furthermore, the government of Nanga Raya Village, Belimbing Hulu Subdistrict has also built a one-stop PAUD and junior high school educational institution. Abstract

Abstract Malay isolects Sedanau abbreviated BMIS is one of the local languages ​​in Indonesia, especially in the island Sedanau, District Bunguran West Natuna. Researchers interested in choosing prefixes contained in BMIS because it serves to form derived words that the sentence becomes clear. Research on the affixation particularly prefix BMIS researchers limited to three issues, namely the shape, function and meaning. Data used in the study BMIS that the data collected during the fieldwork involving several native speakers who are natives BMIS Malay Sedanau Island. In obtaining the required data, the researcher used interview techniques and techniques refer to Sedanau society. Based on the analysis of data that has been concluded, the prefix in BMIS discount affixes are seven forms of N-, pəN-, bə-, tə-, and di-. BMIS function prefixes in the form of the verb, noun, adjective, and the word of numbers. Prefix in BMIS have multiple meanings, namely, performing or working, use or consume, create or produce, possess or have, mengahsilkan or remove, do the job on his own, wear or wear, use, may possess properties or characteristics, which do, in a state , unintentional, and suddenness. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita yang terkait dengan perbandingan berdasarkan analisis Newman. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan tes diagnostik soal cerita. Soal cerita yang digunakan merupakan soal uraian materi perbandingan senilai dan berbalik nilai. Analisis data yang digunakan mengacu pada analisis Newman yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu membaca, memahami, mentranformasi, keterampilan proses dan penulisan jawaban akhir. Dari hasil penelitian, kesalahan tahap membaca sebanyak 22,16 % siswa, kesalahan tahap pemahaman sebanyak 42,7 % siswa, kesalahan tahap transformasi sebanyak 64,32 % siswa, kesalahan tahap keterampilan proses sebanyak 75,13 % siswa dan kesalahan tahap penuisan jawaban akhir sebanyak 72,43% siswa. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan acuan dalam penelitian lanjutan.Kata Kunci : Analisis Kesalahan, prosedur Newman, Perbandingan Absctract : The aims of this study is to determine the forms of mistakes who made by grade VII students in SMP N 12 Pontianak to solve the story related comparison based on Newman’s analysis. The data has collected by interviews and diagnostik test. The story used is a matter of comparative matter of worth and turns value. The data analysis used refers to Newman’s analysis consisting of 5 stages of reading, comprehension, transformation, process skill, and encoding. 22.16% students reading errors, 42.7% students comprehension stage error, 64.32% students transformation stage error, 75.13% of Process skill stage error, and 72.43% students encoding stage error. Abstract

Abstract The problem in this research is how the influence of cooperative learning methods Team Games Tournament (TGT) on the ability of the results of learning basic techniques forehand service game of table tennis. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect on the ability of learning methods TGT learning outcomes forehand service. The method used in this study is experimental, true experimental forms of research, the data used in the form of observational results. The sample in this study amounted to 80 students. Based on the analysis of the influence of the test in the control group and the experimental value of 0.087 > 0.05 significance, so that the null hypothesis is accepted it means there are significant learning method tournament game against the team servicing capabilities table tennis forehand on the students of class VIII SMPN 13 Pontianak. Keywords: Team Game Tournament, Table Tennis.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to design teaching material to support students in learning of narrative text reading with the local folklore comic. The researcher took the folklore from West Kalimantan story book collection. The method of this research was a development research. In conducting this research, the researcher used ADDIE approach (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluation). The first three phases were the phases that the researcher used in doing the research. To design the product, the researcher first analyzed the students and teacher condition and also their problems and needs toward English teaching and learning process. After that the researcher selected and collected the interesting materials then started to make a comic. Futhermore, the researcher asked two experts to validate the comic whether it was appropriate or not to support the teaching and learning process of narrative text reading by using an assessment rubric. The result shows that the product was classified as Very Good with the score of percentage 93%. It meant that the comic can be used to support teaching and learning narrative text reading. Keywords: Development Research, Comic, Narrative text, Reading.

Abstract

                                    AbstractThe purposes of this research are to; (1) determine the differences in learning outcomes between  students who taught by TSTS cooperative model assisted with students? worksheet and the students who taught by conventional model; (2) to determine the influence of TSTS cooperative model toward learning outcomes on reaction rate materials. This research is a quasi experimental using nonequivalent control group design. Saturation sampling is the sampling method that will be conducted in this research. Data collecting technique that will be conducted are scaling, observation and interview. While the instrument of the research are learning tests outcomes, observation sheets and interview guidance. Based on statistic data analysis using Mann Whitney U as ? = 0,05, resulting sig score 0,014 < 0,05 which means there is a  differences in learning outcomes between  students who taught by TSTS cooperative model assisted with students? worksheet and the students who taught by conventional model.  The use of TSTS cooperative  model of students? worksheet gave influences 24, 22% to the students learning outcomes on reaction rate materials.  Keywords:       Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS), Students? worksheets, Learning outcomes, Reaction rate

Abstract

AbstractThe problem of this research is whether there is influence of Role Playing method implementation and how big influence to learners learning result in learning Vocabulary class V MIN Pontianak. Aims to describe the effect of Role Playing application and how much influence on students outcomes in learning V grade. The method used is experiment with Quasy Experimental Design Type Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Population is all learners class V MIN City Pontianak accredited A. Sampling is non probability sampling type of purposive sampling that students class V MIN Bangka Belitung. The technique used is measurement of written test in form of objective. Based on analysis, average of experimental and control class post-test is 85,44 and 82,41. Based on results of normality test using Chi Square formula normal distributed. Furthermore, the homogeneity test of data with Fhitung (1.02) <Ftable (1.86), stated homogeneous and continued t test with separated variance formula, obtained count (4.26)>table (1,6684) with dk =72, so Ha accepted. From result of effect size calculation, obtained δ ̅ equal to 0,31 with medium criterion. This shows that there is influence of Role Playing method implementation to learners' learning result in PKn V Learning of Pontianak City. Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the critical thinking ability of students in IPS grade VIII SMPN 2 Simpang Hilir Regency of North Kayong. By applying the Everyone Is A Teacher Here learning model with students studying the Conventional model. problem formulation in this research How Effectiveness of Learning Model Applying Everyone is a Teacher Here Against the ability to Think Critical Students In Class IPS Class VIII SMPN 2 Simpang Hilir Kabupaten Kayong Utara. The research method used is Quasi Experiment and NonEquivalent Control Group Design research design. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and tests. Data collection tools, in the form of observation sheets, interview guides and tests. Based on the analysis in obtaining the data in the form of posttest result of the students of the experimental class of 73.51 and the posttest control class value of 65.94. From the data it can be seen that the students' critical thinking ability in the experimental class is higher than the control class. This shows that Every Is A Teacher Here learning model is effective in IPS learning activities. The aim was proved in the t test, that there was a difference in critical thinking ability of students with the tcount value> ttable (4,702> 1,785) was determined that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. Keywords: Critical Thinking Capability, Everyone Is A Teacher Here

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this final project is “The Library Collection Arrangement in SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak”. This research looks at the arrangement of library materials in SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak, where the purpose is to show the classification procedure, cataloging, and the way to search for information. The research method used by the researcher in this final project fulfillment was the descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documenting that had done by the researcher to the informant. The result of this research is that the classification done on the collection is appropriate but the collection of fiction classification is not appropriate, the classification using the symbol of the letter F. On the catalog can only be traced by the officer alone should also be used by pemustaka existing in SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak, it means in information tracking is still not optimal.         Keywords: Classification, Cataloging, Information Search

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang perempuan dalam Si Parasit Lajang, Pengakuan Eks Parasit Lajang dan Saman karya Ayu Utami. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kritik sastra feminis. Teknik yang digunakan adalah studi dokumenter. Sumber data adalah novel Si Parasit Lajang, Pengakuan Eks Parasit Lajang dan Saman karya Ayu Utami, data penelitian adalah kata, frasa dan kalimat yang mencerminkan aspek feminis novel Si Parasit Lajang, Pengakuan Eks Parasit Lajang dan Saman karya Ayu Utami. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan sebagai berikut: (1) kedudukan perempuan yang menyiratkan anggapan masyarakat bahwa posisi perempuan, terutama masalah pekerjaan masih dipandang sebelah mata, (2) profeminis memunculkan sebuah fakta unik bahwa kaum lelaki ternyata juga berperan penting dalam memperjuangkan kesetaraan gender, (3) kontra feminis menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak kalangan masyarakat yang membentuk tembok antara kaum laki-laki dan perempuan. Kata Kunci: Novel, Kajian Feminis Abstract: This research indents to describe about female in the novel of Si Parasit Lajang, Pengakuan Eks Parasit Lajang, and Saman by Ayu Utami. The Method that is utilized in this research isquantitative descriptive method. The Approach used is feminist literature criticism approach. Used Technique is documentary study. The source of data is novel of Si Parasit Lajang, Pengakuan Eks Parasit Lajang, and Saman by Ayu Utami, observational data are anywords, phrases, and sentences that reflect feminist aspect novel of Si Parasit Lajang, Pengakuan Eks Parasit Lajang, and Saman by Ayu Utami. Based on the result of analysis, this research results conclusions as follows: (1) female positions that imply that society assumption in which female position is insipid, particularly for  occupations which seem to be underestimated, (2) profeminist shows unique fact that male also has important role in working out for gender equality, (3) contra feminist shows that there are still a lot of communities in society that build high wall to separate male and female.
