Abstract

AbstractThe problems raised in this study are summarized in three formulations of the problem, namely, regarding the background, procedures and rituals and how the involvement of community members in preserving the meaning of Sedekah Bumi tradition in Wonosari, Tebang Kacang Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. To achieve the objectives of the study the researcher used qualitative methods. The data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that Sedekah Bumi tradition in Wonosari, Tebang Kacang Village, against the arrival of Javanese people to Wonosari. They mean that, Tebang Kacang is human form of gratitude and to get a better life the following year. Sedekah Bumi held at the turn of the Islamic New Year or the Hijriah New Year. Regarding the ceremonial procedures and rituals, it is divided into three stages, namely, cattle slaughter, festivity and salvation, and wayang performances. All communities participate in this event. They are very supportive of the big activities held once a year in Wonosari, Tebang Kacang Village. Based on the results of the study, the researcher concluded that Sedekah Bumi held once a year on the eve of the Hijriah New Year by involving all elements of the community at each stage of the ceremony. Keywords: Tradition, Local Culture, Islamic New Year

Abstract

Abstract Muar is one of the richest traditions of the Dayak Jalai Ketapang community which is the cultural asset of the community and is the legacy of its forefathers. This research as an effort to preserve and inventory vocabulary in the tradition of muar sangat by describing the meaning of lexical and cultural meaning. This linguistic-related study focuses on the vocabulary of the highly developed (tradition of taking honey) to the Dayak Jalai Ketapang people. This research used descriptive method, qualitative research form. The data in this research consisted of tool vocabulary, processes, time, mantra, name of plant and animal, and folklore starting from pre-implementation, implementation and post-implementation.This study succeeded in compiling 128 vocabulary consisting of 33 tools vocabulary, 21 processes vocabulary, 8 times vocabulary, 24 plants vocabulary, 4 animal vocabulary, and 22 vocabulary in mantra, and 16 vocabulary on folklore. All the data obtained from interviews conducted by researchers while in the village Biku Sarana, District Jelai Hulu, Ketapang District. The data in the form of the vocabulary as a whole has a cultural meaning but in the analysis conducted there is data that is not found the lexical meaning.Keywords: Muar sangat, Dayak Jalai Ketapang, lexical meaning, cultural meaning.

Abstract

AbstractMotivation to learn is a series of business or impulse that causes someone to want and want to do something in achieving the desired objectives.The learning process that involves various components should be packaged in a systematic study. So that produce optimal learning results. The success of the learning process where the parameter is the result of learning, it is spurring both teachers and students to strive to achieve that goal. Therefore, researchers wanted to know the motivation to learn on  Students of Class X SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak in Academic Year 2017/2018. A common problem in this research is"How the motivation of learners in class X School SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak academic year 2017/2018". This study aims to identify and describe the motivation of learners in class X School SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak 2017/2018 school year. The method used in this research is descriptive method of analysis of research form. The population in this study were 73 learners in class X OTP 1 which, amounting to 37 people and a class X OTP 2 totaling 36 people. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques in this research is the technique of direct and indirect communication with a data collector in the form of a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the analysis of the motivation of learners class X SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak 2017/2018 school year as a whole reached 82.54% with the category of "Very Good".        Keywords: motivation to learn, the learners

Abstract

 AbstractThis research is motivated by the problem of broken home that affects family children, in their interest in learning at school. This study was intended to study the thoughts of destroyed houses on the learning interest of SMA Santun Untan Pontianak students. The method in this study was descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The data sources in this study were students from broken home families. Data collection techniques in this study was donethrough interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis in this study was presented in a qualitative descriptive manner using three informants. The results of this study indicate that students who come from broken families have academic problems and behavioral problems and some do not experience them. Students' interest in learning from families is broken. There were students who have interest in learning, and students who have no interest in learning because they have a family background. The conclusions of this study were students who came from damaged families, which were considered positive and negative from damaged homes. The learning interest of students who come from families was divided, there are those who have an interest in learning and who are not interested in learning. Keywords: Broken Home, Family,Learning Interest

AbstractThe purpose of the study is ?Analysis of the implementation of full day school at SMKN 3 Pontianak. Sub Problem is what are the school programs during the Implementation of Full Day School at SMKN 3 Pontianak. What are these programs support during the Implementation of the Full Day School at SMK N 3 Pontianak.What are the obstacles faced by the teacher during the implementation of full day school at SMKN 3 Pontianak and How the teacher handles these difficulties, What the efforts are made by the teacher making students feel comfortable during implementation of Full Day School at SMKN 3 Pontianak. What  is the target of the school in the implementation of the Full Day School at SMKN 3 Pontianak. How  the academic value of students during the implementation of the Full Day School at SMKN 3 Pontianak. The data collection tool used in this thesis is interview guidelines, notebook. The analysis in this thesis is presented descriptive qualitative by using informants from 1 teacher as the vice chairman curriculum  and  2 teachers and 2 students SMKN 3 Pontianak. The results of the study show that during the Implementation of Full Day School at SMKN 3 Pontianak still lacking to be said as innovation in the field of education.. Suggestions to teachers are expected to be able to innovate to deliver learning with a creative learning model so students feel comfortable. Suggestions to students are expected to continue to be motivated to become superior human resources and continue to get the best education. Keywords: Implementation of Full Day School

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan prototipe model desain pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Learning melalui multimedia yang relevan untuk memperoleh kecakapan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru matematika kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sekayam, Pebelajar kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sekayam dan Kepala Sekolah SMA Negeri 2 Sekayam. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : (1) Desain model Contextual Teaching and Learning melalui multimedia dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk kecakapan pemecahan masalah merupakan desain yang membuat pebelajar dapat lebih mandiri dalam melaksanakan tugas-tigas belajar.(2). Meningkatkan keaktifan pebelajar dalam pembelajaran matematika, sehingga akan berdampak pada ingatan pebelajar tentang apa yang dipelajari akan lebih  lama  bertahan. (3) Meningkatkan inisiatif pebelajar untuk bertanya pada guru.   Kata Kunci :Pengembangan, Model Contextual Teaching and Learning.   Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe a prototype model of instructional design Contextual Teaching and Learning through relevant multimedia to acquire problem-solving skills. This research is the development of research (Research and Development) with qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects were mathematics teacher in class XI SMA 2 Sekayam, learners class XI SMA 2 Sekayam and Head of State High School 2 Sekayam. The results of this study are: (1) Design model of Contextual Teaching and Learning with multimedia in teaching mathematics to problem-solving skills is a design that makes the learners can be more independent in performing these three tasks of learning. (2). Enhance the activity of learners in mathematics, so that will have an impact on learner retention of what is learned will last longer. (3) Increasing learner initiative to ask the teacher. Abstract

AbstractThis study was to analyze the effect of the contextual teaching and learning approach on the ability to write poetry for V class students of the 12 Pontianak City Elementary School. The method used is an experimental method, the form of research used is quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. the population and sample of this study were all students of class V. Data collection tools in the form of essay test. The results of data analysis, the average post-test experiment 74,42 while the average pos-test control 70,13. T-test results are 1,682 and ttable α = 5% (with dk = 26 + 24 - 2 = 48) of 1,679, so tcount (1,682)> ttable (1,679) then the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an effect of the contextual teaching and learning approach to the ability to write poetry for V class students of the 12 Elementary School in Pontianak Kota. The result of the calculation of the effect size is 0,38 ( medium criteria). Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk memberikan informasi dan mendeskripsikan adanya peningkatan aktivitas fisik, aktivitas mental, dan aktivitas emosional  pada murid di kelas IV  Sekolah Dasar Negeri 02 Matan Hilir Utara Ketapang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalamtiga siklus. Terdapat peningkatan  Aktivitas fisikmengalami peningkatan dari baseline dengan rata-rata  42,9  %  ke siklus III    91,7 % sebesar   48,8 %  dengan kategori  cukup tinggi.Aktivitas Mentalmeningkat dari baseline dengan rata-rata  34,5 %  ke siklus III 84,5   % sebesar 50  %  dengan kategori  cukup tinggi.Aktivitas Emosional meningkat dari baseline dengan rata-rata  13,1 %  ke siklus III   81 % sebesar 67,9  %  dengan kategori  tinggi. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Peningkatan Aktivitas Pembelajaran Matematika Menggunakan Media KIT Matematika di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 02 Matan Hilir Utara Ketapang. Kata Kunci : Peningkatan Aktivitas, KIT Matematika, Matematika   Abstract: The purpose of this study is to provide information and describe an increase in physical activity, mental activity and emotional activity in the fourth grade students at State Elementary School 02 North Downstream Matan Ketapang. This research uses descriptive method. This research was conducted in three cycles. There is an increase in physical activity had increased from baseline by an average of 42.9% for the third cycle 91.7% 48.8% with a fairly high category. Mental activity increased from baseline by an average of 34.5% to 84.5% the third cycle of 50% with a fairly high category. Emotional activity increased from baseline by an average of 13.1% for the third cycle 81% at 67.9% with the higher category. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to measure the correlation between students’ frequency of watching Attack on Titan with their reading comprehension of third-semester Student of English Language Education Study Program Tanjungpura University Academic Year 2018/2019. The problem of this research was design to investigate the correlation between two variables. This research applied correlation method. The sample was 30 students of three semesters. The technique to collect the data was measurement technique. The form of test was multiple choices consist of 30 items of reading comprehension. The hypothesis was tested by using t-test formula. The result of this calculation shows that t-observed was 7.08, it is higher than t-table 2.46 with df= n-2 (28) in level of significance 0.01. It means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Finally, The result of the calculation showed that the value of coefficient correlation between students’ frequency of watching Attack on Titan and their reading comprehension was 0.80. In conclusion, the students' frequency of watching Attack on Titan has positive correlation with their reading comprehension.000Key words: Classroom Action Research, Reading Comprehension, Recount                                 Texts, Reciprocal Teaching Technique

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi PT Darmex Agro terhadap lingkungan dan masyarakat di desa Kinande. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi.Sedangkan alat pengumpul data adalah panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi perkebunan kelapa sawit PT Damex Agro terhadap lingkungan dan masyarakat di desa Kinande Kecamatan Lembah Bawang Kabupaten Bengkayang ditunjukan dengan memberikan bantuan dalam bentuk materil seperti di lingkungan memberikan pembuatan jembatan permanen sebagai jalan penghubung antara desa Seluang dan Desa Kinande lebih dekat dan di masyarakat seperti memberikan peluang pekerjaan. Kemudian dampak kontribusi tersebut ada dampak positif dan negatif. Dampak positif seperti akses jalan lebih cepat dan dampak negatif seperti jalan semangkin hancur karena akses jalan bukan saja PT Darmex melainkan ada oknum tertentu yang mengunakan akses jalan tersebut untuk mengambil hasil panen tanpa seizin perusahaan. Kata Kunci : Kontribusi,PT Darmex Agro, Lingkungan,Masyarakat.   Abstract:The purpose of this research is to understand the contribution of PT Darmex Agro on the environment and people in the village Kinande. The method used is Descriptive.Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation study. The results showed that the contribution of oil palm plantations PT Damex Agro on the environment and the people in the village Kinande District of Okanagan Onions Bengkayang shown to provide assistance in the form of material such as the environment provides the manufacture of a permanent bridge as a connecting road between the villages Seluang and Village Kinande closer and in community such as providing employment opportunities. Then there is the impact of the contribution of positive and negative impacts. The positive impacts such as access roads faster and negative impacts such as road destroyed because the access road is not only PT Darmex but there are certain elements that use the access road to the crops without the permission of the company.
