Abstract The purpose of this research is to improve speaking ability of 8F students of Immanuel Junior High School in retelling a story with flash animation. The method used in this research was a classroom action research. Retelling story technique was used in this research. The researcher gave the test twice in two cycles. In this research, observation checklist, field note and rubric for assessing speaking were used in collecting the data. The teacher collaborated with the researcher during the action, observation, and reflection. Based on the speaking rubric the data showed the students speaking ability improved especially fluency and accuracy. The result shows the significant progress happened in every cycle. The mean score of first cycle was 55.79 (Poor) and the second cycle was 79.86 (Good). In addition from the percentage of fluency from cycle one to cycle two is 52.31% and 76.85%. The percentage of accuracy from cycle one to cycle two is 59.26% and 82.87%. This research implied that retelling story technique was good in teaching speaking and supported by flash animation as the media. AbstractThis research based on the lack of interest for traditional art which is an ancestors heritage and the need for some effort to learn and preserve traditional music. One of traditional art from Batak Toba tribe wich exist in Sintang, West Kalimantan is Gondang Batara Guru in wedding ceremonial of Batak Toba tribe in Sintang West Kalimantan. The purpose of this research is to describing shape and music melody of Gondang Batara Guru music in wedding ceremonial of Batak Toba tribe in Sintang West Kalimantan. The method that used in this research is qualitative descriptive method and use musicology approach. Data contained in this research is the result of direct observation and interview with informant about shape and melody of Batara Guru music. Along with the times, and religion comes, Gondang Batara Guru music is more focused as dance music and to entertain in wedding ceremonial and as the thanks for the god ceremony in Batak Toba tradition especially Music Batara Guru music in wedding ceremonial in Sintang West Kalimantan Keywords: Analysis, Gondang Batara Guru Music, Batak Toba Tribe, Sintang, West Kalimantan.Â

Abstract The purpose of this study was to describe the influence of Indonesian language learning to apply the language game method of narrative writing skill in class III SDN 29 Pontianak Kota. This research uses experimental experimental type experimental method with time series design experiment design. The population in this study were all students of class III SDN 29 Pontianak Kota consisting of three classes. The sample of this research is class IIIA which amounted to 24 students. Instrument in the form of test with description form as much as 1 problem. Data collection techniques use measurement techniques. Hypothesis test results using t-test (t test dependent) obtained t_ (count) of 28,3072 for dk = 23 and ? = 5% obtained t_ (table) of 2.069, which means t_hitung> t_tabel (28,3072> 2,069) , From the calculation of effect size (ES), obtained ES of 1.93. So, it can be concluded that there is influence of language game method to narrative writing skill in class III SDN 29 Pontianak Kota. AbstractThis study aimed to describe the problem solving ability in chemical calculation material in XI class students of SMAN 10 Pontianak. This research method was descriptive study with instrument in the form of 6 problem solving in essay. The subject were students of SMAN 10 Pontianak in XI IPA 1 students academic year 2016/2017 consisted of 38 students. The results showed that the average percentage of problem solving ability in chemical calculation material in XI IPA 1 students of SMAN 10 Pontianak were : (1) determining the number of molecules of a substance if known volume at temperature and certain pressure the amount of 76,76%, (2) calculating the number of moles of a substance at standard temperature and pressure (STP) the amount of 84,67%, (3) calculating the gas volume at constant pressure the amount of 41,67%, (4) determining a molecular formula of a compound the amount of 48,67%, (5) calculating the element level in a compound the amount of 80%, (6) predicting the volume of gas produced in a reaction at room temperature and pressure (RTP) the amount of 36,33%.   Keywords: Problem Solving Ability, Chemical Calculation

Abstract The aim of this research is to fird of out the influence of using TPS toward the outcome of IPS learning on class V SDN 23 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya. The method used is experimental study. With pre experimental design, with kind of experimental one grup pretest-posttest design. The technique of data collecting used is test in from of multiple choice which consist of 50 items. The result of the research is the average score of pretest 54,33, while the average score of post-test 67,20, t-test price tcount compared ttable with dk= 24-1=23 and the significance level (α) 0,01 the price of ttable=2,81. Tcount ≥ ttable or 3,71 ≥ 2,81 means significant, it conclude that Ho is rejected, whereas Ha is accepted. It can be conclude that there is an influence of using TPS type of cooperative model toward the outcome of IPS learning on class V SDN 23 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya, that is about 0,78 with the medium category. Keywords: Influence, TPS, Learning OutcomesÂ

 AbstractThe learning process that students do not only can be in the classroom can also be done outside or in the environment where they live. The environment around the students is also not far from the culture. Education and culture is something that can not in everyday life, because culture is unity and unity, apply in every society and education is a necessity for every individual in society. Currently the 2013 curriculum used is a very deep learning environment. In the textbook used is still a lot of language that must be understood students. The use of everyday language, language use is often interpreted as being able to speak in that language. More seriously here is defined as the ability to use symbols directly to communicate. The research used in this research is descriptive explorative research. The results obtained in this study are the mention of integers in the local language, the various units in the provision of ritual gear equipment, and the use of counting operations in the ritual activity of the device. all the results that can be integrated in mathematics learning.Keywords: Learning, Local Language, Etnomatematics

AbstractThe goal of this research was to investigate the extent of the influencebetween the learning environtment at school toward the year-11 students learning motivation at "SMKN 1 Pontianak". The method used in this research was descriptiove in the form of a correlative study. The tools of data collection were questionnaire, observation sheets, interview guidance and documentation. The population of this research were154 year-11 accountancy studentsand 36 as the samples. The result of this research showed that learning environment in the school was in high category with 72,88%. The year-11 accountancy students' motivation to learn was also in high category with 77,88%. Based on the analysis data, there was a resemblance 33,,814+0,44x. Due to the high regression value, or (R) effect was 0,583 which categorized as average.The result of t test showed that t value > t table was (5,596>2,001). Therefore Ha was acceoted and Ho was rejected, so that it could be conluded that the learning enfironment affected the motivation of year-11 accountancy students at "SMKN 1 Pontianak". Coefficient determination (R2) result was 0,339 which meant the contribution percentage of the environment learning effect at school toward the year- 11 accountancy students' motivation at "SMKN 1 Pontianak was 33,9% meanwhile the rest was 66,1 % which affected with another factors such as: family and social environment. AbstractThe aims of this research is to determine the literacy movement SekolahDasar Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir (the stages arein habituation, development, and learning) through reading interest in Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Mempwah Hilir 1 in terms of the aspects of literacy planning, literacy implementation, and literacy evaluation. The research was carried out at SekolahDasar Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this research were principals, teachers, and students while the data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis is done through stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Techniques for checking the validity of data using triangulation. The results of this research showed that literacy (habituation, teaching, and learning) through reading interest in the planning, implementation, supporting factors, inhibiting and evaluation stages of learning already done it. The character planningon learning by incorporating elements of literacy and designing the implementation of learning. The implementation of learning is done by the teacher with applying school literacy and reading interest that is carried out through literacy, teachers and is carried out every day by all school residents. The evaluation of learning is assessment of the process and assessment of learning outcomes.Keywords :literacy, reading interest, learning

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of students’ reading aloud using drill methord towards the second grade of SD Negeri 14 Peresak Bengkayang. The method of this research is descriptive in form of classroom action research with collaborative as its charachteristics. Subject of this research is the teacher and students of second grade that is 25 students. The technique of collecting data used is direct observation. The tool of data collection is IPKG I, IPKG II, Students; observation sheets. Technique of data analysis is to calculate the average score of teacher’s ability on planning , implementing, and the students’ improvement of students’ reading aloud using mean formula. This research is done in three cycles. The result of this research is (a) the teacher’s ability on planning (IPKG I) in the first cycle is 3.00, in the second cycle is 3.00, and the third cycle is 3.00. By this, it an be seen there is no improvement in each cycle, and 3,00 is in good category; (b) the teacher’s ability on implementing (IPKG II) in the first cycle is 3.32( good category), in the second cycle improves to 3.86 (very good category), and the third cycle is 3.98(very good category. Meanwhile, the students’ability on reading aloud using drill method is 59.5 in the first cycle, 77.12 in the second cycle, and 87.68 in the third cycle with all of the students passed the minimum score. By those data above, it can be concluded that there is an improvent on students’ ability in reading aloud using drill method. Keywords: Reading Aloud, Drill method, ImprovingÂ

AbstractThis research aims to describe study implementation of Jepin Langkah Simpang dance with drill method to improve students skills in class X SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak. Researcher used descriptive method in this study. The result of the analysis about study implementation of Jepin Langkah Simpang dance with drill method is that using drill method can enhance students skills and can make students better than of learning process in from skills, especially in the field of dance. Techniques of data collection are observation, interview, documention, and performance test. The technique of data validaty testing triangulation technique. Data analysis technique in this research are analyzed and interpret actifity, actifity process, result of actifity, doing a discussion with supervisor and conclude the result of analysis about study implementation of Jepin Langkah Simpang dance with drill method to improve students skills in class X SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak.The result of this research are expected to be implemented in a cultural art lesson on Senior High School X grade first semester and it can be refrences for further analysis about implementation learning.Keywords: drill method, implementation, Jepin Langkah Simpang dance, study
