Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to produce a media in the form of powerpoint-based interactive slides that was feasible to be used in the teaching-learning process and to know the students' response related to the submaterial of Invertebrate in SMA Negeri 1 Tekarang of Sambas Regency. School determination was based on the availability of the tools and infrastucture potential but still found a problem that is the used powerpoint as the media in teaching learning with teacher centered  approach and narrative explanation which made the studens'  became passive and their learning result relatively low. The research and development method was implemented within 6 steps, including 1) potential and problem, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) expert validation, 5) product revision, and 6) product testing. s. The power point-based interactive slides were categorized valid which scored 3.67 by material experts and 3.77 by media experts. Moreover, the students were giving a positive response with the percentage of 81.41% which indicated that the powerpoint-based interactive slides were proper to be used as an instructional media in the Sub Material of Invertebrate for first-grade high school. Keywords: Powerpoint-Based Interactive Slides, Research and Development,Student?s Response, Sub Material of Invertebrate

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to improve students’ vocabulary, especially in meaning and spelling of vocabularies. This research was conducted on the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015. In this research, the subject is class VII E that consists of 30 students. The researcher conducted a classroom action research in her research and acted as the teacher during the research period. The data were collected by using direct and measurement technique. The tools of data collecting were observation checklist, field note, and test. Riddle game was used as the technique in this research which is conducted the research in two cycles. The research findings showed that the mean score of students’ vocabulary test in the first cycle is 59.83 to 76.20 in the second cycle which means it successffully passed the KKM. It can be concluded that the students’ vocabulary taught by using riddle game was improved. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas VII SMP N 8 Pontianak pada tahun akademik 2014/2015. Dalam penelitian ini sasaran penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas VII E yang terdiri dari 30 orang siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dan berperan sebagai guru selama masa penelitia berlangsung. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tehnik penilaian dan observasi langsung dengan menggunakan tabel pemeriksaan, catatan lapangan, dan tes. Tehnik yang digunakan adalah riddle game dan dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan skor rata-rata tes siswa pada siklus pertama adalah 59,83 menjadi 76,20 pada siklus kedua yang berarti siswa dapat melewati standar KKM. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap kosakata, khususnya pada arti dan pengejaan kata dapat meningkat melalui pengajaran menggunakan riddle game.   Keywords: Kosakata, Permainan, Riddle Game

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research in the first place is the low ability of kindergartners at Town For Kids Pre-school in learning and conversing in Indonesian on daily basis. To solve this problem, the researcher uses audio visual media to enhance the learning process of Indonesian Language. The problem formulation in this research is audio visual media can enhance the learning process of Indonesian Language in Town For Kids Pre-school Pontianak. The purpose of this research is to describe the planning, implementation and the result of applying audio visual to complement the learning of Indonesian Language in Town For Kids Pre-school.The students score result in the ability aspect  of mentioning animals names in the first cycle is 59,1 %, the second cycle has an improvement of 22,7 % which resulted in 81,8 % of the students in class have been capable of mentioning the variety of animals names in Indonesian language. In the third cycle, almost every student in the class is included into very well category. Moreover, in the aspect of stating ideas in cycle I has gotten score of 46,4 %, the students haven’t been capable in retelling the story from a movie, in the cycle II the same result has improvement of 22,71% to 69,31%. After applying the action in cycle III the final result of the scoring is 94,3%, which has an improvement of 24,99%. Almost every student is capable to retell the content of video shown in perfect sentence and more than one perfect sentence.           Keywords: Audio Visual Media, enhacing, Indonesian Language learning

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to describe the implementation of affective assessment in learning Civic Education in elementary. Implementation of the assessment here includes planning, implementation, and reporting. This research was  a qualitative descriptive research. The subject of this research is 1 teacher in Class V at SDN 06 Tae Tukong Subdistrict of Mandor Landak District. Data were collected through interviews and documentation. Technique examination of data validity used was cross check technique. Data analysis technique used inductive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that: first: the preparation of the assessment plan includes the following activities: (a) the formulation of the objectives of the assessment is done by writing the objectives of the assessment in the plan, (b) the determination of the aspects to be assessed by describing the basic competencies and indicators; (c) The techniques to be used in the affective assessment of observation, interview, and scale, (d) the compilation of assessment instruments are based on the techniques used, (e) the determination of assessment benchmarks using the criterion reference assessment, (f) the frequency of affective judgments has not been maximized. Both assessments include; (a) data collection using three ways, namely interview observation and attitude scale, (b) verification of assessment data is done by separating useful data in affective assessment with useless data, (c) data processing and analysis done by statistic, (d) Interpretation and conclusions are made by converting numeric values into letters and then summarized descriptively, and (e) the follow-up of assessment results by remedial and enrichment. Third reporting of results: (a) the implementation of the report is done by direct and indirect means, and (b) the preparation of the report format there is no standart format.  Keywords: Assessment, Affective Range, Civic Education

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan mengaji tentang pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan bagi anggota  serta partisipasi anggota terhadap motivasi berkoperasi pada Credit Union Pancur Kasih kantor pelayanan  Bengkayang. Penelitian ini menggunakan  metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dan populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota Credit Union Pancur Kasih kantor pelayanan  Bengkayang yang berjumlah 6.766 orang, dan sampel berjumlah 92 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi langsung, teknik komunikasi langsung,teknik komunikasi tidak langsung, dan teknik studi dokumenter. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut : 1. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara pendidikan dan pelatihan bagi anggota   terhadap motivasi berkoperasi, dengan nilai koefisien regresi 0,939 yang berarti memiliki pengaruh yang kuat. 2. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan partisipasi anggota   terhadap motivasi berkoperasi dengan nilai koefisien regresi 0,867 yang berarti memiliki pengaruh yang cukup kuat Kata Kunci : Motivasi Berkoperasi Abstract : This study aims at identifying and describing  the influence of training and education and member participation on the co-operation motivations  CU Pancur Kasih Bengkayang.    Using descriptive method by applying a quantitative approach whereas the population in this CU Pancur Kasih Bengkayang  numbering 92 participant.  The data collecting techniques used in this study were: Direct observation techniques,  Direct communication techniques, Indirect communication techniques, and documentary study technique. The results of this study are as follows : 1.There has been a  positive and significant influence training and education for members  on the  co-operation motivations  at a significant level of > α 0.05 with a correlation coefficient of 0.939 to mean having a strong influence. 2.There has been a positive and significant influence of members participation on the co-operation motivations  at a significant level  of > α 0.05 with a correlation coefficient of 0.867 to mean having a strong influence and   Keyword : Co-Operation  Motivation

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) Perencanaan pembelajaran menggunakan metode bermain peran?, 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan metode bermain peran? dan 3) Peningkatan perilaku sopan?. Analisis data yang digunakan berupa observasi, IPKG I, IPKG 2 dan wawancara. Langkah-langkah penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1). Perencanaan, 2). Pelaksanaan, 3). Pengamatan atau Observasi dan 4). Refleksi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah observasi/pengamatan dan wawancara/percakapan, sesuai dengan teknik pengumpul data yang digunakakan, maka alat pengumpulnya adalah format observasi dan panduan wawancara. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan 1) Perencanaan pembelajaran menggunakan metode bermain peran pada anak usia 5-6 Tahun di TK Karya Nyata Kecamatan Sungai Kakap, sudah sangat baik karena guru telah menyiapkan RKH dan media yang akan digunakan dalam menigkatkan perilaku sopan, 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan metode bermain peran pada anak usia 5-6 Tahun di TK Karya Nyata Kecamatan Sungai Kakap, telah dilaksanakan guru dengan sangat baik dan 3) Peningkatan perilaku sopan anak usia  5-6 Tahun setelah pembelajaran menggunakan metode bermain peran di TK Karya Nyata Kecamatan Sungai Kakap, meningkat lebih baik.   Kata Kunci: Perilaku Sopan, Metode Bermain Peran, Anak Usia Dini   Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) Planning learning methods play a role ?, 2) Implementation of the learning methods play a role? and 3) Improvement of polite behavior ?. Analysis of the data used in the form of observation, IPKG I, IPKG 2 and interviews. The steps of this study are as follows: 1). Planning, 2). Implementation, 3). Observations or observation and 4). Reflection. Data analysis techniques used were observation / observation and interviews / conversations, according to the data collection techniques be adopted, then the tool is the format pengumpulnya observation and interview guides. The results of a study showing 1) Planning learning methods play a role in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten of Real Life Snapper River District, has been very good because the teacher has prepared RKH and media will be used to boost the polite behavior, 2) Implementation of the learning method play a role in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten of Real Sungai snapper, have been implemented with excellent teachers and 3) increasing the boorish behavior of children aged 5-6 years after learning to use the method of playing a role in the kindergarten of Real Sungai snapper, increased better.   Keywords: Polite Behavior, Role Playing Method, Early Childhood

Abstract

AbstractThe focus of this study is students who get low learning outcomes in class X MAN 2 Pontianak. The research method is descriptive, a form of case study research. The case subjects were two people. The counseling model for case I subjects is the REBT counseling model with behavioral dispute techniques. The results after being given alternative assistance experienced positive changes, especially in improving learning outcomes, especially in Arabic language lessons, getting an even UAS score of 82. The counseling model used in case 2 subjects was Behavioral, with systematic disentization techniques and assertive practice. The results obtained have shown changes in learning by increasing learning outcomes in Arabic language lessons, which scored 82 when the UAS was even                                     Keywords: Case Study, Low Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to formulate and develop the activity in the classroom that could encourage the students to speak through “Mencucuk” task activity. This research also validate whether or not the model of “Mencucuk” tasks are acceptable in encouraging the students in SMP N 10 Pontianak to speak. This research is development research which consists of four phases: analyze, design, develop, and evaluate. The need analysis in this research obtained the information that the students need an activity which could involve their hand movement to encourage them to speak. It was found by conducting the analysis on students’ condition, learning process and students’ ability in speaking. The product of this research was an Instructional Design called “Mencucuk”. This product tells about the activity for the students in speaking section. The main activity is that the students color a sketch using origami, glue and pen while the teacher encouraging them to speak. This activity would attract the students in learning process because they were playing while learning. The result of task evaluation showed that “Mencucuk” task were acceptable for teaching speaking and encourage the students to speak.   Keywords: Teaching Speaking, Development Research, ADDIE Approach Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merumuskan dan mengembangkan aktifitas  di dalam kelas yang dapat mendorong siswa untuk berbicara melalui aktifitas “Mencucuk”. penelitian ini juga menguji apakah rancangan tugas “Mencucuk” dapat digunakan untuk mendorong siswa di SMP N 10 Pontianak dalam berbicara. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan yang terdiri dari empat tahap: analisis, desain, pengembangan, dan evaluasi. Analisis kebutuhan dalam penelitan ini memperoleh informasi bahwa siswa membutuhkan sebuah aktifitas yang melibatkan pergerakan tangan mereka untuk mendorong mereka berbicara. Rancangan tugas “Mencucuk” menjelaskan tentang desain tugas dan pengembangan tugas. Produk dari penelitian ini adalah berupa model pembelajaran. Produk ini menjelaskan tentang aktifitas siswa pada bidang kemampuan berbicara. Aktifitas utamanya yakni, siswa mewarnai sebuah sketsa menggunakan origami, lem, dan pulpen sementara guru memotivasi siswa untuk berbicara. Aktifitas ini akan menarik perhatian siswa dalam proses belajar karena mereka bermain sambil belajar. Hasil dari evaluasi menunjukan bahwa tugas “Mencucuk” dapat diterima untuk mengajar kemampuan berbicara dan mendorong siswa untuk berbicara.   Kata Kunci: Mengajar Berbicara, Penelitian Pengembangan, Pendekatan ADDIE

Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of this study is to reveal how students who experience social rejection in SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak. This research method is descriptive in the form of case study research. The case subjects in this study were two people.. Data collection techniques in this research were observation, interview and sociometry questionnaire. Research data collection tools are observation guides and interview guides To overcome the problems experienced subjects I and II, Alternative help given to the subject of the case 1 is a model of counseling Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) using cognitive dispute techniques and rational analysis, whereas alternative assistance given to the subject of the case is a model of counseling Behavioral Therapy with formation techniques shaping and aversion therapy (Covert sensitization). The results obtained after being given alternative assistance on the subject of case one, experienced many changes, especially in socializing with peers at school. While case two subjects can control themselves not to disturb their friends in class. The researcher's suggestion is that case subjects are expected to be able to maintain and enhance positive change.Keywords :Case Studies, Social Rejection

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meraih tingkat pemahaman yang tinggi dengan harapan dapat mengingatnya dalam waktu yang relatif lama, serta dapat mengembangkan keterampilan dalam membaca dengan detail. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan bentuk kualitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, teknik tes/evaluasi, dan teknik dokumentasi. Data yang dianalisis berupa data penelitian yang terkumpul dari hasil observasi dan perekaman. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa komponen Perencanaan Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang dibuat guru memiliki 2 (dua) kesalahan dari 12 (dua belas) kriteria RPP. Pada kegiatan inti, guru mencantumkan tiga hal penting dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang menggunakan KTSP yaitu Eksplorasi, Elaborasi, dan Konfirmasi (EEK). Kegiatan inti pada pertemuan pertama berbeda dengan kegiatan inti pertemuan kedua. Perbedaan terletak pada pemberian tugas yang akan dikerjakan oleh siswa yaitu pertemuan pertama pemberian tugas dengan cara berdiskusi, sedangkan pertemuan kedua pemberian tugas secara individu.   Kata kunci: menemukan bahan diskusi, membaca intensif.   Abstract: The purpose of this study to achieve a high level of understanding with the hope to remember them in a relatively long time, and can develop skills in reading in detail. The method used is descriptive and qualitative terms. This research data collection using observation, engineering test / evaluation, and technical documentation. Data were analyzed in the form of research data collected from the observation and recording. Based on the analysis of data it can be concluded that the components of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) made the teacher has two (2) errors of 12 (twelve) criteria RPP. At its core activities, the teacher lists the three important things in learning activities that use SBC namely exploration, elaboration, and Confirmation (EEK). Core activities at the first meeting is different from the second meeting of its core activities. The difference lies in the provision of the task to be done by the students is the first meeting of assignment by way of discussion, while the second meeting of the administration task individually.   Keywords: find the discussion, intensive reading.
