Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa suplemen buku ajar biokimia berbasis kearifan lokal masyarakat Kalimantan Barat pada submateri gangguan metabolisme karbohidrat. Pengembangan suplemen buku ajar biokimia berbasis kearifan lokal masyarakat Kalimantan Barat berdasarkan langkah-langkah penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Borg & Gall. Sampel uji lapangan dalam penelitian ini ditentukan dengan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket kelayakan produk dan angket tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap tingkat keterpakaian produk. Saran-saran hasil uji kelayakan dan uji keterpakaian sebagai dasar untuk penyempurnaan produk. Berdasarkan analisis hasil angket kelayakan diperoleh skor total akhir sebesar 82 yang berarti bahwa suplemen ini termasuk ke dalam kategori layak dengan predikat baik. Hasil uji lapangan awal untuk tingkat keterpakaian produk diperoleh persentase sebesar 75,94% dengan kriteria tinggi untuk digunakan. Hasil uji lapangan utama untuk tingkat keterpakaian produk diperoleh persentase sebesar 73,22% dengan kriteria tinggi untuk digunakan.   Kata kunci: pengembangan, suplemen buku ajar, kearifan lokal Abstract: This research and development aims to produce product supplement biochemistry teaching material book in carbohydrate metabolism disorders submaterial based on local wisdom West Kalimantan’s peoples . The development supplement biochemistry teaching material book in based on local wisdom West Kalimantan’s peoples based on measures of research and development by Borg & Gall. Field test sample in this research was determined by purposive sampling. Data collected by using a feasibility product questionnaire and student response questionnaire to the usability level product. The suggestions of feasibility test results and usability test results as the basis for product improvement. Based on the analysis of the results of the feasibility questionnaire obtained the final total score of 82, which means that the supplement is included into the category of decent with a good rating. Preliminary field testing results for usability level product obtained a percentage of 75.94 % with a high criteria for use. Main field testing results for usability level product obtained a percentage of 73.22 % with a high criteria for use.   Keywords: development, supplement teaching material book, local wisdom

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was to find out the level of learning motivation as well as the factors contributing to learning motivation. The research subjects were the students of SMKN 8 Pontianak. In this research, the writer used interview technique, questionnaire technique, and library research method in pursuing the aforementioned research purposes. The findings of the research revealed that students? learning motivation level were still very low (171.2). Two factors that are affecting learning motivation consist of internal and external factor. Internal factor consists of expectation, attention, and joyfulness in learning. External factor consists of family background, society background, and school environment. Even though external factor has also contributed to students? learning motivation, it was found that internal factor has more significant effect on students? learning motivation. This was proven by the low-level motivation which was caused by the lack of expectation, attention in studying Chinese language as well as the lack of joyfulness in learning. Keywords: External Factor, Internal Factor, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sejarah, perkembangan dan rancangan implementasi pembelajaran Langkah Jepin Empat-empat di Kota Pontianak Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif historis dalam bentuk kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan multidispliner dengan dua ilmu pengetahuan yaitu penelitian antropologi tari dan penelitian sosiologi tari. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Yuza Yanis Chaniago, Ismunandar, Kusmindari Triwati. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data disimpulkan bahwa Langkah Jepin Empat-empat, lahir pada tahun 1982 di Kota Pontianak dan berkembang hingga sekarang. Melalui anak-anak didik beliau, langkah jepin empat-empat terus berkembang dan memiliki variasi gerak yang kreatif. Langkah Jepin Empat-empat, merupakan langkah yang tetap  menjaga etika dan estetika di dalamnya. Yanis Chaniago merangkum, menyimpulkan dari berbagai macam jepin yang ada di Kalimantan Barat. Maka dari itu adapun langkah jepin empat-empat tersebut tetap berkembang, dalam karya seni seniman di Kota Pontianak. Kata Kunci: sejarah, perkembangan, langkah jepin empat-empat Abstrak: This study aimed to describe the history, development and design of learning implementation jepin empat-empat steps in Pontianak in West Kalimantan. This study uses historical descriptive method in the form of qualitative and approach multidispliner with two sciences that studies the anthropology of dance and dance sociological research. Sources of data in this study are Yuza Yanis Chaniago, Ismunandar, Kusmindari Triwati. Data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. Based on data analysis concluded that jepin empat-empat steps, was born in 1982 in the city of Pontianak and developed until now. Through his proteges, jepin empat-empat steps continues to grow and has a variety of creative movement. Jepin empat-empat steps is a step that will keep ethics and aesthetics in it. Yanis Chaniago summarize, infer from various jepin in West Kalimantan. Therefore as for jepin empat-empat steps is still growing, in the artwork of artists in the city of Pontianak. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to develop a student worksheets project based learning in science teaching is done by improving the skills of scientific work of students. This research was conducted as many as six sessions using two different worksheet, the worksheet early and worksheets project based learning. The results of the initial work sheet obtained average students scientific work skills at 10.05 and the results of the Project based learning worksheets obtained average students scientific work skills  at 14.88. An assessment of student worksheets project-based learning of expert learning device of 93.33, from the responses of teacher is at 100, from student responses at 89.96, the results of the worksheets based learning project categorized as feasible to use. Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of this thesis was to improve students’ descriptive text writing by using pictures of grade 10A of SMAN 1 Kayan Hulu in the academic year 2016/ 2017. From the pre-observation interview, the writer found that the students had problems in using present tense and in differentiating the generic structure of descriptive text. Then, most of them lacked imagination and felt difficult to transfer their thoughts onto writing. This research was conducted through Classroom Action Research in two cycles. The participants of this research were 32 students in class 10A. The writer used measurement and observation technique to collect the data. He found that the students still had some problems of their writing in the first cycle, including generic structure, simple present tense, and the media used. To solve the students’ problem, the teacher decided to give more explanation about the use of simple present tense and generic structure of descriptive text, the teacher also asked the students to bring a dictionary in order to help the students in constructing a sentence. As a result in the second cycle,the students could write a descriptive text with good grammar and organization. In the first cycle, the students’ mean score was 59.68, it increased to 73.59 in the second cycle. In conclusion, the use of pictures improved the students’ writing of descriptive text. Keywords: Descriptive Text Writing, Pictures, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research is to know the difference and how much influence of learning process using molyikov  to student learning outcomes on covalent bonding material. The population of this study is all students of grade X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Meliau academic year 2017/2018. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. Data collecting techniques used are measurement techniques and direct communication techniques. Instrument assessment used is the test of learning outcomes. The sample used in this research is class X IPA 1 as control class and class X IPA 2 as experiment class. The design used in this research is control group pretest-posttest design. The results showed statistical test of U Mann-Whitney Gain Score test, giving Sig value. (2-tailed) = 0,000 <0,05 which states Ho is rejected means that there are differences in learning outcomes between control class students given learning without using molyikov media and experimental class given learning by using molyikov media. The influence of learning using molyikov media gives 35.54% influence on learning outcomes in covalent bond material of grade X SMA Negeri 1 Meliau students. Keywords: molyikov, learning outcomes, covalent bonds.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to find out the effectiveness of using categories game in teaching vocabularies on writing descriptive text. This study was conducted on seventh grade students of SMPN 14 Pontianak Timur in academic year 2016/2017. The research used a pre experimental research with one group pretest and post test. The subject of this research was VII I. The research data was collected by a test. It was analyzed by effect size formula. The findings of research showed that the students achievement on vocabularies, particular vocabularies on writing descriptive text significantly improved by using categories game. The interval between the mean score of pretest and posttest is 15.59 . It means that the interval between pretest and posttest score showed the increase after treatment conducted. Moreover, these findings were computed by t-test formula, where the t-value in this research is 6.21, compared with percentage points of the t-distribution with one tail probability (α) 0.05 on 41 number degree of freedom is 1.682. It means the t-value is higher than the percentage point of the t-distribution. The effect size obtained is 0.86 which is categoried large. Thus, the use of categories game to teach vocabularies on writing descriptive text to the students VII grade of SMPN 14 Pontianak Timur was effective.Keywords: Vocabulary, Categories game, Descriptive Text

Abstract

AbstractThe importance of knowledge of laboratory practicum equipment for labor safety and knowledge of the tools that affect the students psychomotor ability and the implementation of the practicum that requires good of the toolsl to facilitate the lab activities then conducted research to know the knowledge of chemistry practicum and psychomotor ability of students MAN 1 Pontianak . This study aim to described the knowledge of students 'chemical practicum tools and to describe students' psychomotor abilities. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. The sample selected  using purposive random sampling technique that is class XI MIPA 3. The data collection tool used is a matter of chemistry practicum knowledge test and student psychomotor ability assessment sheet. Based on the result of the research, it is found that student?s knowledge about chemistry laboratory equipment has average value 74. This value indicates that student succeed with category Good. Psychomotor ability of student to the tools and glassware of chemistry laboratory has the average value of 83. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of using manipulative media on student learning outcomes in learning about the value of places to thousands in class III 64 Sungai Raya District Primary School in Kubu Raya District. The method used in this study is an experimental method with an experimental design Non Equivalent Control Group Desaign .. Based on the results of data analysis, the average experimental class Post Test was 76.37 and the control class average 69.10. Hypothesis test results using t-test obtained t count = 2.92 for dk = 52 and ? = 5% obtained t table of 2.02 which means thitung> t table (2.92> 2.02), then Ha is accepted. From the results of the effect size (ES) calculation, ES is obtained at 0.84 (high criteria). This means that the use of manipulative media has a big influence on the high student learning outcomes in mathematics learning in class III 64 Sungai Raya State Elementary School in Kubu Raya Regency.Keywords :  Manipulative Media, Student Learning, Mathematic Learning

Abstract

Abstrak :Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengungkap pengaruh gender dan strategi pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas xi SMA Negeri 5 Kota Pontianak. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan desain faktorial 2 x 3. Dari hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah diperoleh bahwa nilai sig untuk gender adalah sebesar 0,306 > 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh gender. Nilai sig untuk strategi pembelajaran adalah sebesar 0,986 > 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh strategi pembelajaran. Tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara siswa laki-laki dengan perempuan yang mengikuti strategi pembelajaran.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak perbedaan rata-rata pemecahan masalah matematika yang dipengaruhi oleh gender.   Kata Kunci : Pemecahan Masalah, Strategi Pembelajaran, Gender.   Abstract:The main pupose of this research is to know the influence of gender and learning strategy toward the matematic problem solving ability of the elevent grade students in SMA Negeri 5 Kota Pontianak. This research used the quantitative approach by using factorial 2 x 3 design. The research  finding was obtained based on the matematic problem solving ability test. From the result of the problem solving ability test, it found that the gender sig score was 0,306 > 0,05, thus it concluded that there was no different on the student?s matematic problem solving ability average score which influenced by gender. The sig score for the learning strategy was 0,986 > 0,05, it can concluded that there was no different in the student?s matematic problem solving ability averagescore which was no different in the student?s average score between boys and girls on the problem solving ability. Based on the data analysis, it can concluded that there was no different on the matematic problem solving average scores which was influenuedbygender.
