Abstract

Puberty is a developmental phase in which children begin to transition from asexuality to sexual maturity. This period is marked by the development of reproductive organs and the ability to reproduce. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the level of sexual knowledge regarding physical changes and the level of anxiety in facing puberty in adolescents at SMPN 1 Margoyoso Pati. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, a method of randomly selecting samples from a population without regard to specific levels within the population. Furthermore, respondents were selected using purposive sampling. The anxiety measurement instrument used was the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) questionnaire. The level of sexual knowledge regarding physical changes during puberty shows that 49 respondents (58.33%) have knowledge in the good category, 27 respondents (32.14%) are in the sufficient category, and 8 respondents (9.53%) are in the poor category. There is a significant relationship between sexual knowledge related to physical changes and anxiety in facing puberty in adolescents at SMPN 1 Margoyoso Pati. Adolescents with good sexual knowledge tend to be better able to reduce or even avoid anxiety when entering puberty.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS remains a global health problem, including in Indonesia, with a significant impact on adolescents as a high-risk group. Adequate knowledge about HIV/AIDS is expected to foster healthier sexual behaviors, thereby minimizing the risk of transmission. The increasing prevalence of risky sexual behavior among adolescents can contribute to high rates of HIV/AIDS transmission. to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS and adolescent sexual behavior. This research is quantitative with a correlational design using a cross-sectional approach. The study population was adolescents aged 15–19 years in the Pati I Community Health Center working area, with a sample of 100 respondents selected using proportional random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, including 10 questions for the HIV/AIDS knowledge variable and 10 questions for the sexual behavior variable. Data analysis was performed univariately to observe the frequency distribution and bivariately using the Spearman correlation test. showed that most respondents had a level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS in the category of less (49%), sufficient (28%), and good (23%). As many as 55% of respondents were classified as having risky sexual behavior, with forms of behavior varying from holding hands to penetrative sexual intercourse. The results of the bivariate test showed a significant relationship between the level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS and adolescent sexual behavior (p-value = 0.031) with a weak positive correlation (r = 0.215). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship with a positive direction between knowledge about HIV/AIDS and adolescent sexual behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the human resource management strategies in improving the discipline and competence of civil servants (ASN) at the Department of Education and Culture of Central Papua Province. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Six key informants were selected purposively, representing structural officials and operational staff, providing a comprehensive perspective on the actual conditions of personnel management within the organization. The findings reveal that the discipline level of civil servants is considered moderate but not yet optimal. Approximately 55–60% of ASN comply with working hours and task completion targets, while the rest face challenges related to work culture adaptation and weak internal supervision. Competence levels also vary; Recruited civil servants adapt more quickly to digital technologies, while many senior staff still require assistance in operating administrative applications such as MyASN, SIPD, and e-Kinerja. Differences in educational background, work experience, and organizational habits among districts contribute to gaps in both discipline and competency levels . The main obstacles include low intrinsic motivation, inconsistent supervision, limited technology utilization, and low participation in training programs. Moreover, diverse working cultures and habits among employees hinder the standardization of professionalism and service quality within the department. To address these issues, the department has designed several strategic approaches, including: 1) Enhancing digital-based supervision by integrating online attendance with performance assessments; 2) Implementing a consistent and fair reward-and-punishment system to strengthen accountability; 3) Improving ASN competence through technical workshops, peer mentoring, and the adoption of e-learning methods to overcome budget limitations; 4) Applying a local wisdom-based approach by fostering a family-oriented and deliberative work environment to improve cultural integration and employee motivation. The study concludes that effective personnel management strategies should emphasize structured employee development, technological adaptation, and consistent performance-based evaluation. These efforts are expected to improve organizational performance and enhance the quality of public services, particularly in the education and cultural sectors of Central Papua Province.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of agricultural land area and agricultural labor on the unemployment rate in Indonesia during the period 1994–2021 using multiple linear regression. The results show that agricultural land has a significant negative effect on unemployment, while agricultural labor has a significant positive effect. This indicates that expanding agricultural land can reduce unemployment, but an increase in agricultural labor without adequate land absorption may increase unemployment. The findings suggest the need for agricultural modernization and rural economic diversification to reduce unemployment more effectively.

Abstract

The construction industry is experiencing increasing complexity that has an impact on occupational safety risks. Dynamic work environments trigger workers' non-compliance with established safety procedures. Many construction projects experience work accidents due to weak SMK3 implementation systems in the field. Workers often ignore safety instructions due to lack of motivation, weak organizational culture, and low risk understanding. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence compliance with SMK3 among construction project workers. This study uses a qualitative approach based on literature review through a systematic analysis of academic sources published in 2023–2025. This study reveals that organizational culture, intrinsic motivation, risk understanding, and technology utilization have a major contribution to worker compliance. Systems that involve workers in formulating safety policies show higher levels of compliance. Application-based surveillance technology helps improve worker reporting and awareness in the field. Risk-based training that is developed in an applicative manner has proven to be more effective than formal training. This study concludes that compliance with SMK3 is formed through synergy between managerial systems and individual behavior. Companies need to build a safety culture that is applied consistently across all project lines. Project management needs to provide simulation-based training and real-time reporting systems to increase risk awareness. Researchers recommend an integrative strategy involving two-way communication, safety incentives, and the use of adaptive technology to establish sustainable compliance. A safety system that is adapted to field realities will increase the effectiveness of SMK3 implementation in the construction sector.

Abstract

The construction industry experiences high levels of work accidents in road infrastructure projects. Work accidents have a negative impact on worker safety and project productivity. An Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) is needed to create a safe and healthy work environment. This study aims to analyze the implementation of SMK3 in improving work safety in road projects. This study uses a qualitative approach based on a literature review of academic sources published between 2023 and 2025. This study identifies five important elements in SMK3, namely safety training, procedural compliance, management support, safety culture, and system evaluation. This study found that safety training increases risk awareness and compliance with work procedures. A consistent evaluation system strengthens the system's adaptation to changing project conditions. This study also shows that project management plays an important role in creating a conducive work climate. Two-way communication between workers and management improves understanding of risks in the field. Safety technology has been shown to support real-time hazard detection and accelerate preventive actions. Worker participation in the preparation of safety policies encourages a sense of ownership of a safe work system. This study concludes that a holistic approach strengthens the success of SMK3 implementation in road projects. This study recommends the integration of SMK3 from the planning stage to project implementation. Companies must build an adaptive, collaborative, and risk-based safety management system. The government needs to strengthen safety regulations and improve supervision in the field systematically.
