Abstract

Employee engagement is a crucial element in enhancing individual performance, especially for expatriates working in multinational companies like Perusahaan. This study aims to analyze the impact of employee engagement on expatriate performance in the context of multinational companies. Employee engagement, which includes involvement, commitment, and job satisfaction, has been shown to significantly contribute to individual performance, especially for expatriates facing challenges of cultural adaptation and new work environments. Organizational support, cross-cultural training, and social support networks in the workplace are key factors in enhancing employee engagement. These findings indicate that companies need to develop effective strategies to improve employee engagement to achieve optimal performance from expatriates.

Abstract

With the popularity of mobile devices and new technologies such as digital wallets that replace credit cards and cash as the main payment methods, this study examines the usage intentions and usage behavior of digital wallets by users in Indonesia through the Extended UTAUT model. Using a quantitative approach with the SEM-PLS method, this study integrates variables such as mobile self-efficacy, perceived enjoyment, satisfaction, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, behavioral intention, use behavior, and perceived service quality. This study focuses on digital wallet users in Indonesia, so the results may not be generalized to other populations. The results show that satisfaction, facilitating conditions, and performance expectancy have a significant influence on behavioral intention to use digital wallets, which in turn significantly affects use behavior. In addition, mobile self-efficacy significantly affects perceived enjoyment, which has an impact on satisfaction, performance expectancy, and effort expectancy. Practical benefits can be derived from this empirical data, which can be used as a reference for marketing, penetration, and segmentation strategies in the digital wallet industry. This expanded framework allows for a more in-depth exploration of the factors influencing the adoption and usage behavior of digital wallets, as well as providing new insights into how these expanded factors interact with each other in the UTAUT model among digital wallet users in Indonesia.

Abstract

The growth of Indonesia's economy demonstrates the country's growing economic integration with the global economy. All of this is a result of globalization's open economic system, where everything is interdependent and interdependent on everything else. Every country's economy relies on international commerce to some extent. Countries are encouraged to participate in the arena of international commerce in this modern period. In international commerce, foreign currency reserves are a crucial instrument and source of funding. The net position of the foreign assets of the government and foreign exchange institutions is what is required to fund imports, and Bank Indonesia is in charge of managing these reserves. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development strategy of laundry Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in facing increasingly fierce competition. Laundry MSME, as one of the business sectors with great potential, often face serious challenges, such as limited capital, low use of technology, and inconsistent service quality. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method on several laundry MSMEs in urban areas, which are analyzed using the Swot theoretical framework and Porter's Five Forces model. The results showed that MSME laundry has strengths in competitive pricing, proximity to customers, and strategic location. However, the main weakness found is the lack of technology utilization and innovation in services, which hinders the competitiveness of the business. Opportunities, such as increasing awareness of sustainability-based services and digitalization, provide room for business development. Threats from competition with laundry franchises and changing customer preferences that increasingly lead to fast and efficient services, pose serious challenges for MSMEs. Based on the analysis, suggested development strategies include utilizing digital technology for management and marketing, improving service quality, innovation in service types, and product diversification to attract new customers.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate both the individual and combined impacts of social commerce, promotional activities, and brand perception on consumers' purchase intentions. This study included up to 120 participants from Generation Z who had purchased Aerostreet products. Validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, F-test, and t-test were used to analyze the data. The study's findings indicate that social commerce, sales promotions, and brand image all have a favorable and significant impact on purchase intentions. The impact of the independent factors on purchase intention is 52.1%. Researchers suggest that Aerostreet could work with influencers on promotions so that more customers are interested in acquiring their products. Aerostreet must continue to engage clients in continuity initiatives, offer items that fit customers' lifestyles, and consistently produce products that outperform competition.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of brand image and product quality partially and simultaneously on buying interest. The sample in this study is 112 consumers of Toya Beji Guwang bottled drinking water. The data analysis techniques used Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Determination Coefficient Test, F Test and t Test. From the results of the study, it was obtained that brand image has a positive and significant effect on buying interest, product quality has a positive and significant effect on buying interest, and brand image and product quality have a significant effect on buying interest. The magnitude of the influence of independent variables on buying interest was 52.9%. The suggestion that the researcher can give is that the management of Toya Beji Guwang is expected to always build a good image, so that later consumers will always remember the Toya Beji Guwang brand when thinking about drinking water products, make more innovations in the products offered, so that later they will have features or innovations that can provide more value and are always active in implementing attractive promotions in the media, so that later consumers can get information spread.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of lifestyle, price, and product quality partially and simultaneously on purchasing decisions. The sample in this study is 112 Manos Coffeee consumers. The data analysis techniques used Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Determination Coefficient Test, F Test and t Test. From the results of the study, the results were obtained that lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, price has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, product quality has a significant positive effect on purchase decisions and lifestyle, price and product quality have a significant effect on purchase decisions. The magnitude of the influence of independent variables on purchase decisions was 57.3%. The suggestion that researchers can give is that Manos Coffee should make the design of a more comfortable place, make innovations so that later have products that are superior to competitors, make food and beverage displays more attractive, and always try to make products that are superior to competitors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership styles of Chinese expatriates managing multinational companies. The primary focus is on how Chinese cultural values, such as Confucianism, collectivism, and guanxi, influence their leadership approaches and the cross-cultural adaptation challenges they encounter. Data was collected through a literature review of 8 relevant previous studies. The method used is a comparative literature review to synthesize findings. The results show that Chinese expatriates' leadership style is characterized by hierarchical and collective approaches, but flexibility and adaptation to Indonesian cultural values significantly enhance cross-cultural teamwork effectiveness. This study provides recommendations for comprehensive cross-cultural training to strengthen leadership competencies in multinational corporations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors affecting palm oil exports in Indonesia, focusing on the variables of domestic palm oil production, domestic consumption, international prices, and currency exchange rates. Using secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Bank Indonesia (BI), and the Indonesian Palm Oil Company Association (GPKI) in the 2014-2023 period, this study uses a multiple linear regression analysis method. The results show that domestic palm oil production, international prices, and currency exchange rates have a significant influence on Indonesia's palm oil export volume. However, domestic consumption did not have a significant effect on exports. This research contributes to the development of international trade theory and provides recommendations for government policies in increasing the competitiveness of Indonesian palm oil exports.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of the internal control function in overcoming delays in payment of goods orders at PT Medikon Prima Laboratories. Late payments are the main obstacle that affects the company's operational efficiency and financial stability. With a qualitative approach, this study evaluates various aspects of internal control, such as preventive, detective, and corrective functions, to identify the root cause of problems and provide strategic solutions. The results show that strong internal control is able to mitigate risks, increase efficiency, and strengthen stakeholder trust. The main conclusion highlights the importance of applying information technology and improving staff training to improve the company's financial management process.
