DISASTRI (Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Program Studi) berfokus pada studi bahasa, sastra dan pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Jurnal ilmiah ini adalah kumpulan studi ilmiah dari komunitas akademik Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa (dan Sastra) Indonesia Universitas Hasyim Asyari dan komunitas akademik dan peneliti yang memiliki studi sesuai dengan fokus dan ruang lingkup jurnal Disastri. Jurnal Ilmiah ini diterbitkan tiga kali dalam satu tahun yaitu bulan April, Agustus dan Desember. Tim editor dan pengulas adalah personil yang sesuai dengan bidangnya, sehingga menjamin konten artikel yang substansial dan diterbitkan. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the form of politeness and gender factors on politeness in language in TikTok comments by Denny Sumargo and Mahfud MD. The research method used is the technique of listening and recording, classification, analysis, drawing conclusions, then reporting the results of the study. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, with a pragmatic approach. The results of this study found 14 data of wisdom maxims, 4 data of generosity maxims, 52 data of praise maxims, 8 data of humility maxims, 7 data of agreement maxims, and 43 data of sympathy maxims, with a total of 128 data. The gender factor in this study was found to be male with a subcategory of internal psychological factors of 4 data, external environmental factors of 9 data. The female gender factor was a subcategory of internal psychological factors of 9 data and external environmental factors of 6 data, so the total was 28 data. In this study, the maxim of praise occupies the most frequently spoken position and the maxim of praise expects the speaker when delivering a speech not to insult, mock or belittle others. Therefore, the maxim of praise is the most frequently found maxim in this study. politeness of language is not only from the form of politeness, but also gender factors, men tend to speak politely by paying attention to external environmental factors in contrast to women who tend to speak in terms of internal psychological factors using feelings.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the relationship between humans and God as depicted in the myth of the tomb of Aermata Ratuh Ebuh. The data used in this study are audio/video recordings, images, and notes obtained from direct observation and interviews. This myth has an important role in describing spiritual relationships, connecting the divine dimension with deep social practices. People who believe in this myth consider tombs to be sacred places with divine powers, where individuals can feel God's presence through various rituals and traditions. The discussion includes several aspects: the symbolism of the tomb that marks the presence of God, the rituals and practices that strengthen spiritual relationships, and the moral and ethical values contained in this myth. In addition, the research also explores the challenges faced by this tradition in the modernization era. The findings show that the myth of Aermata Ratuh Ebuh remains relevant as a bridge between humans and God, despite being faced with significant social change. Overall, the relationship between humans and God in the context of the myth of Aermata Ratuh Ebuh remains important and valuable, with the potential to be adapted and maintained despite the changing times. This myth is not just a cultural heritage, but also a spiritual source that enriches human life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the influence of the PBL model on student success to write explanatory texts in student which was carried out in August-September of the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used in this reasearch is a two group pretest posttest design. In the experimental group learning, the leraning model was the Problem Based Learning, while in the control group learning, the conventional method was used. Each learning group was initially given a test in the form of a pretest and at the end of the learning was given a test in the form of a posttest. This study uses population and sample in the study. The population is all eighth grade students.The total sample was 64 people. The instrument used was a learning test to write explanatory text. Based on calculations, the average value obtained from the results of the explanation text in the experimental class posttest was 74,6. This value of the control class, namely 46,4. Data analysis requirements were tested using a normality test. Sample data can be said to be a normal distribution if Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) > 0.05. Based on the results of the homogeneity test on samples from both classes, it shows that the sample distribution is normal. This is indicated by obtaining 0.0315 > 0.05 in the experimental class and control class with a significance value in both Based On Mean classes >0.05. Next, hypothesis testing was carried out using the Wilcoxon test. The hypothesis testing criteria is rejection based on the analysis prerequisite test. The sig. value obtained is 0.000. So therefore, formulated that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning model on the learning to write explanatory texts for class VIII students at SMPN 24 Kota Jambi City is accepted. The PBL model can be used to achieve learning goals. Using the Problem Based Learning model also maes learning more varied and not boring.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the strategies used by Indonesian language teachers in the learning process to enhance the interest in learning Indonesian among eighth-grade students at SMP IT As Syakur, Bengkulu City, and how the interest of eighth-grade students at SMP IT As Syakur, Bengkulu City, in learning Indonesian. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The location of this research is at SMP IT As Syakur in Bengkulu City. Using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research results, the strategy for teaching Indonesian to increase students' interest in learning at SMP IT As Syakur in Bengkulu City is by using discussion methods, providing motivation, learning evaluations, and quizzes. The interest of eighth-grade students at SMP IT As Syakur in Bengkulu City towards learning Indonesian is quite high, as evidenced by four indicators of interest: feelings of happiness, student interest, student attention, and student involvement in learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the forms of Lembak language maintenance and the factors influencing Lembak language maintenance among teenagers in RT 17, Dusun Besar Village, Bengkulu City. The type of this research is qualitative, while the method used in this research is descriptive. This research uses data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings from the observations and interviews conducted can be concluded that the Lembak youth in RT 17, Dusun Besar Village, are familiar with the Lembak language and continue to use it when interacting with parents and family members at home. However, when interacting with peers, many believe that they do not always use the Lembak language because some friends do not understand it. Based on the research findings, the conclusion of this study is: (1) The total number of Lembak tribe members in RT 17, including their descendants, is 47 people from the Lembak tribe. Forms of preserving the Lembak language, (2) The form of language preservation of Lembak among the youth of RT 17 is by introducing the Lembak language from an early age and continuing to use the Lembak language when interacting with parents and family members at home, and the youth also continue to use the Lembak language with friends who are also of Lembak descent. (3) There are four factors in the preservation of the Lembak language in RT 17 based on the research findings, namely the factor of descent, the factor of residence, the factor of loyalty in preserving the native language, and the factor of tolerance present in the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan bahasa register yang terdapat pada Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Abdul Hadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian sosiolinguistik dalam menemukan bahasa yang variatif juga menemukan pengaruh yang terdapat pada setiap register. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa setiap register bahasa yang terdapat pada Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Abdul Hadi muncul karena kebiasaan santri yang dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan pesantren dan keluarga pesantren yang masih membawa tradisi-tradisi kuno yang digetok tularkan melalui interaksi maupun pembelajaran yang berbasis agama. Bentuk dari register sendiri juga sangat bervariatif, ini memunculkan makna yang tidak dimiliki oleh kelompok register lainnya. Ada dua temuan yang dalam penelitian ini. 1) Bentuk register dalam komunitas pondok pesantren salafiyah syafi’iyah Abdul Hadi, yaitu sebuah gambaran dimana bahasa register yang muncul pada setiap dilaog, misalnya murojaah, bilik, derek langkung, roan, dan lain sebagainya. Adapun klarifikasi bentuk register sendiri yang penggunaannnya menggunakan alih kode menjadi salah satu faktor kebiasaan para santri sehingga muncul bahasa intim atau bahasa akrab pada kalangan santri. 2) Register sendiri muncul dikarenakan adanya tranmisi bahasa yang kemudian diadopsi menjadi bahasa yang beragam dalam lingkungan pesantren. Penggunaan register sendiri berfungsi untuk alat komunikasi yang lebih efektif. Register sendiri dipengaruhi oleh adanya faktor dari keberadaan pesantren yang sudah lama berdiri.

Abstract

This study took the object of the 748th edition of the Posmo newspaper, this study focused on analyzing the elements of magical realism contained in the object. This is done with the hope that the research results can add to the scientific treasures in the field of language and literature. The scope of this study intends to reveal the elements of magical realism contained in Posmo newspaper edition 748. The research method in this journal is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques taken using literature study with several stages, namely, reading, recording, coding and so on. analyzed. The data analysis technique used in processing the object is a qualitative descriptive data analysis technique, text interpretation. This research produces data in the form of elements of magical realism in the discourse narratives contained in the object in the form of the 748th edition of the Posmo newspaper.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) konflik batin yang mengarah pada karakter/watak tokoh utama dalam novel Negeri Lima Menara karya Ahmad Fuadi (2) karakteristik tokoh utama dalam novel Negeri Lima Menara karya Ahmad Fuadi yang di tinjau dari aspek psikologi sastra. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Data penelitian ini berupa kalimat, kata-kata, ungkapan dalam novel Negeri Lima Menara karya Ahmad Fuadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra untuk menjelaskan karakter/watak dari tokoh utama dari deskripsi konflik batin yang dialami oleh tokoh utama dengan menggunakan teori Sigmund Freund. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara menelaah secara rinci unsur-unsur dalam novel tersebut seperti percakapan dari tokoh tokoh yang ada dalam novel tersebut. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik ekspostori dan teknik dramatic. Karakter dari tokoh utama dalam novel Negeri Lima Menara mengarah pada nilai pendidikan karakter yang dapat di terapkan di kehidupan sehari-hari.. Abstract

Sebagai pemelajar muslim, sudah sepatutnya apa yang dipelajari berpegang teguh pada sumber pedoman utama yaitu Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada buku teks Bahasa Indonesia kelas SMP/MTs IX terbitan Kemendikbud edisi revisi 2018. Perkembangan usia pemelajar SMP/MTs yang masih mencari jati diri dan rentan mendapatkan pengaruh dari luar menjadi pertimbangan pemilihan bahan penelitian ini. Maka, bentuk-bentuk nilai haruslah tertera dengan jelas dan mudah dipahami dan diimplementasikan oleh pemelajar, serta guru juga mudah mencontohkan dan meneladankan secara nyata dalam kehidupan di sekolah. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, peneliti mencoba mendeskripsikan nilai religius yang terdapat pada buku teks Bahasa Indonesia SMP/MTs kelas IX serta bagaimana relevansinya dengan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu metode penelitian yang dijalankan dengan mengumpulkan data, mengklasifikasikan data, kemudian merumuskan kaidah-kaidah terhadap keteraturan yang terdapat atas data itu (Chaer, 2006:9).Objek yang digunakan adalah buku teks Bahasa Indonesia Kelas IX yang diterbitkan Kemendikbud edisi revisi tahun 2018 dan terdiri dari 184 halaman. Data-data yang diperlukan sebagai bahan penelitian berupa kata, frasa, klausa, kalimat, paragraf, dan wacana yang memuat konten-konten tentang penerapan pendidikan karakter religius dalam buku teks. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 13 data yang mengandung nilai pendidikan religius, yaitu: 4 data nilai religius menjaga alam sebagai titipan Allah SWT, 1 data nilai religius menunaikan salat sebagai kewajiban, 2 data nilai religius Al-Qur’an sebagai pedoman kehidupan, 3 data nilai religius mensyukuri nikmat Tuhan, 1 data nilai religius semua adalah milik-Nya dan akan kembali kepada-Nya, 1 data nilai religius menghadapi masalah, bukan mengeluhkannya, dan 1 data nilai religius semua manusia sama.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe assertive speech acts in the Mata Najwa talk show dialogue with the theme Jaga-Jaga Taliban in electronic media. The data obtained by the author comes from the utterances spoken by Najwa Shihab and sources in the talk show Mata Najwa on TRANS 7 which was re-aired on Najwa Shihab's Youtube channel, on August 26, 2021, with a duration of 1 hour 16 minutes 2 seconds. This research approach is using a qualitative approach. There are four forms of assertive speech acts, namely mentioning, showing, stating, and reporting. There were 9 speech acts stating, 21 showing speech acts, 64 stating speech acts, and 3 reporting speech acts. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that in understanding the meaning of language communication utterances contained in the Mata Najwa talk show dialogue with the theme Jaga-Jaga Taliban in electronic media, there are types of speech acts, one of which is assertive speech acts which include utterances of mentioning, showing, utterances declare, and utterances report. Therefore, in order to know and understand the speech intent of the assertive speech acts contained in the Mata Najwa talkshow dialogue with the theme Jaga-Jaga Taliban, one must carefully understand the intent of the speech act conveyed by the speaker.
