Abstract

This community service program designed a digital solution for SM Cloth "Semangat Muda", an MSME in Tegal providing screen-printing and printing services. Two core problems were identified: promotional channels that remain narrow, and the recurring risk of lost orders caused by delayed manual responses during the ordering process. The proposed solution consists of an MSME website serving as a product catalog and service information medium, paired with a WhatsApp AI Chat system designed to answer customer queries and collect order details in a structured manner. Development follows the Waterfall SDLC model, beginning with a needs assessment through direct observation and interviews, followed by UI/UX design, relational database design, and chatbot conversation flow design with service orchestration. Outputs include a modular website design covering catalog, service information, and WhatsApp-based ordering, as well as a chatbot design with conversation context storage and order logging. The proposed system is expected to reduce response time, broaden digital promotional reach, and reinforce the business image of the MSME.

Abstract

The low level of digital literacy among grassroots communities, particularly the Dasawisma group within the Rukun Warga (RW) environment, limits the community's ability to use information technology effectively and safely. This Community Service Program aims to develop web-based interactive educational media as a digital literacy learning tool for Dasawisma members. The media was developed using the WordPress platform and the Waterfall development method. The implementation stages included user needs analysis, educational content design, interface design, WordPress installation and configuration, and system testing with users. The developed media takes the form of an interactive website that provides basic digital literacy materials, instructional videos, and evaluation quizzes accessible through various digital devices. The media trial was conducted with 20 members of Dasawisma RW 01 using a pretest and posttest method on a digital literacy quiz. The results showed an improvement in participants' understanding from 58% to 82% after using the media, representing an increase of 24%. This indicates that web-based educational media is effective in improving digital literacy among the Dasawisma community in RW 01, Jatinegara Sub-district, East Jakarta.

Abstract

Conventional promotional limitations hinder the visibility of Sanggar Seni Cahya Art's Baliqui in preserving culture during the digital era. This Community Service (PKM) project aims to strengthen the partner's digital branding by developing a Vercel-based website profile. The implementation method adopts a Design Thinking framework integrated with a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. Google Lighthouse audit results showed a perfect SEO score (100%), while GTmetrix testing achieved a Grade A with a 100% performance score. Beyond the technical figures, the real impact is reflected in the partner's positive response — stating that the website's presence significantly increases the studio's professionalism and facilitates public access to information. These results confirm that a professional, fast, and low-maintenance system infrastructure can serve as an effective promotional solution without burdening the partner with complex technical upkeep.

Abstract

Students' health and physical fitness serve as essential foundations for achieving optimal learning outcomes. Nevertheless, many adolescents, particularly those enrolled in Islamic senior high schools (Madrasah Aliyah), have not yet established healthy hydration habits or sufficient intake of natural antioxidants. Inadequate fluid consumption and exposure to free radicals may adversely affect concentration, immune function, and long-term health status. This community service initiative aimed to enhance students' knowledge and skills regarding the importance of proper hydration and the role of antioxidants, as well as to promote healthy lifestyle practices through the preparation of infused water. The program was conducted in December 2025 and involved 21 eleventh-grade students at MA Asshodiqiyah. The methods employed included interactive educational sessions and hands-on practice in preparing infused water. Program effectiveness was evaluated using a pre-test and post-test design with multiple-choice assessment instruments. The findings revealed an 80% increase in the average knowledge scores following the intervention, and all participants (100%) were able to independently prepare infused water. This initiative not only improved students' cognitive understanding but also developed practical skills that may contribute to sustainable behavioral changes toward healthy hydration habits and natural antioxidant consumption both at school and at home.

Abstract

Mata Mamplam Village faces persistent limitations in managing population administration, accessing public information, and coordinating disaster response — all of which are still handled manually, making services slow and prone to error. This community service program was designed to build and deploy a website-based Village Information System (SID) as a digital solution that addresses these specific, documented needs. The approach taken was needs-based service, involving village officials and community representatives through in-depth interviews and direct observation. The program ran through four sequential stages: needs analysis, system development, operator mentoring, and functional evaluation using black-box testing. The resulting system was built on the Next.js 14 framework with a PostgreSQL database, covering five main modules: population administration digitization based on National Identity Number (NIK) with automated PDF letter generation, public information transparency, disaster response management linked to BMKG data, a digital MSME catalog, and a no-code self-management feature. Black-box testing across all ten functional scenarios returned a 100% pass rate, and village operators demonstrated the ability to run and manage the system independently after the mentoring sessions. The deployment has measurably shifted village administrative services toward faster, more accurate, and more responsive operations.

Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) is a nutritional problem in pregnant women caused by a prolonged lack of energy intake. The prevalence of CED among pregnant women in Central Sulawesi Province has been recorded at 2,449 cases, with Sigi Regency ranking third highest with a prevalence of 3.25%. The long-term impacts of CED on pregnant women include the risk of maternal death, chronic anemia, and hemorrhage. For the fetus/child, the impacts include stunting, low birth weight, and intellectual disabilities. Many pregnant women still have limited knowledge regarding balanced nutrition during pregnancy, which may affect the health of both mother and baby. In 2025, there were 189 pregnant women with CED (14.41%) recorded in the working area of UPT Dolo Public Health Center. A community service program in the form of education on CED prevention and management was conducted at the Posyandu in Kotapulu Village, Sigi District, Sigi Regency. The results showed an increase in pregnant women's knowledge by 77.8%.

Abstract

Mangrove ecosystems play an important role in maintaining the balance of coastal environments and sustaining the livelihoods of communities living in coastal areas. However, limited public awareness of the ecological functions and benefits of mangroves has repeatedly contributed to coastal environmental degradation. This community service program aimed to strengthen the environmental awareness of Pari Island residents, Thousand Islands, through a mangrove conservation education program. A participatory approach was employed by directly involving the community in various educational activities and conservation practices. The main activities included environmental outreach on the importance of mangrove ecosystems, group discussions on mangrove conservation efforts, and mangrove planting along the coastline. A total of 35 participants consisting of local residents, fishermen, and youth groups took part in this program. Evaluation was conducted through observation, interviews, and pre-test and post-test questionnaires to measure changes in participants' knowledge and awareness regarding mangrove conservation. The results demonstrated a measurable improvement in participants' understanding of mangrove functions and benefits following the education program. The program also encouraged community participation in coastal conservation efforts and fostered collective awareness of the importance of sustaining mangrove ecosystems. Community-based participatory education programs of this nature warrant serious consideration as a strategy for supporting sustainable mangrove conservation in coastal areas.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a public health problem with a high risk of transmission, especially among close contacts of patients' families. Low knowledge and social stigma are persistent barriers to prevention. This community service activity aimed to improve family knowledge and preventive behavior through direct home visit-based education. The method used was structured counseling with the Counseling Event Unit (SAP) approach, conducted for families of TB patients in the working area of a Community Health Center (Puskesmas). Sessions included a pre-test, education on transmission routes, prevention measures, cough etiquette, and medication adherence, followed by a post-test for evaluation. Statistical analysis yielded a p-value of 0.000 (< α 0.05), confirming a significant increase in family knowledge and participation in preventive practices — including mask use, ventilation improvement, and medication supervision. Home visit-based mentoring proved effective in raising family awareness and reinforcing their role as medication supervisors (PMO). This activity produced measurable reductions in household transmission risk and strengthened family involvement in community-based TB control
