Abstract

The role of education is very important in shaping human beings into quality resources. The curriculum change implemented by the government in the current era is the Merdeka Curriculum. This curriculum emphasizes the aspects of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project This learning is implemented in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project activities. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing Market Day activities to build the social-emotional of students at the elementary school level. The research subjects were 4th grade students of SDN 1 Sambeng Kulon, totaling 14 children. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Market Day shows a significant change in students' social-emotional after implementing Market Day activities. These changes can be seen in student activities which are measured by several social emotional indicators, including: (a) Self-Awareness, (b) Self-Management, (c) Social Awareness, (d) Ability to Relate, (e) Dare to Make Decisions. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of Market Day activities in class IV can improve social emotional in students.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to ascertain if the problem-based learning approach has improved the learning results for class VI students at SD Negeri Karangtalun 02 Cilacap. 34 students in grade 6 SD Negeri Karangtalun 02, including 16 male and 18 female students, participated in this sort of classroom action research study. The poor scientific learning outcomes in the subject of electrical circuits are what spurred this investigation. Observation, testing, and documenting were the approaches employed for data collecting. There were two cycles to this study. The findings demonstrated that using problem-based learning to teach students about basic electrical circuits might enhance their learning outcomes. Pre-cycle students' average learning achievements were just 66.07 After using the PBL model, the average value rose to 74.57 in cycle I and to 84.29 in cycle II. According to these findings, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) teaching approach may increase scientific learning outcomes in class VI students' first semester at SD Negeri Karangtalun 02 by 91%.

Abstract

People's need for night entertainment is no longer a new thing, especially for the city of Makassar. Night entertainment has now become a necessity for the young to the old to be one of the entertainments in the midst of busy activities. As time goes by, nightlife venues are now being enlivened with karaoke nights. Singing various genres of music together guided by a lead that has its own charm for visitors. The background of this study aims to determine how the form of marketing communication strategy of Karaoke Night Bernyanyi Bermasa in increasing the number of visitors and what factors support the marketing communication strategy in increasing the number of visitors to karaoke Night Bernyanyi Bermasa. This research will use purposive sampling technique, this technique includes based on the object. Where the population that meets the criteria is not sampled. Informants in this study amounted to 5 people consisting of 1 founder of Masa Kreatif, 1 employee of Teratas Bar, and 3 visitors to Bernyanyi Bermasa. The marketing strategy carried out at Bernyanyi Bermasa karaoke night in increasing the number of visitors through advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, publicity, direct marketing. From the marketing communication strategy carried out by Bernyanyi Bermasa karaoke night, it has not been maximized. Bernyanyi Bermasa has employees with diverse backgrounds in terms of social environment and age, strategic location with complete facilities and facilities as supporting factors. The inhibiting factor of marketing communication strategy at karaoke night Bernyanyi Bermasa is the lack of advertising and promotion.

Abstract

Achieving target lessons is the aim of teaching learning process. It also requires good classroom management conducted by the teachers. It deals with not only physical aspects but also emotional psychological aspects of the class such as managing the disciplines and rules of the class and maintaining good relationships with the students. They are needed to be concerned in order to create a comfortable learning ambience. In fact, challenges and problems faced by either newbie or experienced teachers, both formal and informal school teachers exist and make the teaching learning process. In the context of the English course, this study is aimed to figure out classroom management problems, the factors causing the problems, and the solutions are done by the teachers to solve the problems. There were 6 English teachers from the English Course as the research participants. Open-ended questionnaires were administered and class observation was conducted to gather the data. After gathering and analyzing the data, 2 major classroom management problems appeared, namely 1) instructional problems, and 2) behavioral and psychological problems. Instructional problems are about the obstacles which make the target lessons difficult to achieve. Meanwhile, behavioral and psychological problems tend to come from the attitude or emotion in the classroom which makes the classroom environment not conducive. More elaboration about each findings, discussions, conclusion, suggestion and limitation of the research are presented deeply in the paper.

Abstract

Due to the pandemic condition, teachers are forced to adapt with the condition where Digital technology are heavily involved in the process of teaching and learning. Digital application with the feature of online meeting and Management system are become the main spotlight for teacher. Through Canva, teacher can assign their students to working on the project together with their friend. Several things need to be considered in using Canva are; it is heavily dependent on internet connection and because Canva is not an application that create for education purpose alone. so, teachers will have to use their creativity in integrate it with their teaching and learning activity which might need more effort than using the application which solely create for educational purpose. In short, Canva is digital application which create for creating and designing but it also can be used in teaching and learning activity. It is dependent on the teacher on how they will use it.

Abstract

Transitional period development emerges significant changes in psychological aspects. These changes often lead to values and norms conflict. Juvenile delinquency is caused by unresolved conflicts in childhood during the transitional period. This study aims to: 1) determine the factors that trigger juvenile delinquency; 2) discover juvenile delinquency solution, 3) find out the inhibiting factors for tackling juvenile delinquency. This research uses literature analysis with the data from related literature as analytical material. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative and exploratory analysis. The results showed, 1) there are internal and external trigger factors for juvenile delinquency; 2) Efforts to overcome the occurrence of juvenile delinquency are through parenting and attention to adolescents, including psycho-education; 3) Inhibiting factors in efforts to overcome juvenile delinquency such as negative peer influence, uncontrolled use of social media, lack of parental attention, and permissive attitude. This research provides information about the juvenile delinquency cause and prevention.

Abstract

The character of discipline is behavior that reflects obedience in carrying out applicable regulations. The character of discipline is important. Without awareness of the necessity of carrying out predetermined rules, it will require a method of habituation so that it can form a strong student character. The purpose of this study is to describe habituation methods in improving student discipline character and the impact of habituation method implementation in improving student discipline character. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach using data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used in this study is Milles and Huberman's interactive analysis model. From this study, it can be concluded that the process of implementing habituation methods in improving disciplinary character has run as expected. This is evidenced by the achievement of 2 disciplines, namely the discipline of obeying the rules of discipline and the discipline of time.

Abstract

Digital platform is an effective strategy to optimize tourism potency. This exploratory research analyzes capacity development of Micro Small And Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) actors in tourism sector using tourism digital literacy approach in Surakarta Indonesia with Parsons’ Structural Functional theory through observation, in-depth interview and related documentation from MSMEs actors in Tourism Sector, Related Service Offices, Manager of Night Market Ngarsopuro and tourists in Surakarta selected using purposive sampling technique. Source triangulation was used for testing data validity and interactive model for data analysis. Socialization is made to MSMEs actors in tourism sector related to RI’s Law Number 11 of 2008 about Information and Electronic Transaction to improve digital literacy on legal frame of online economic activities. Because online media plays an important role in MSMEs development, training and facilitation are provided concerning social media use through various social platforms to produce and develop tourism promotion content in Surakarta.

Abstract

STEM is an approach that integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in learning. The purpose of this study is to find out how much the STEM approach is implemented in science learning and to analyze the effective learning process while implementing the STEM approach. The research method used is literature review through Scopus and Google Schoolar in 2017-2022. The results of a study of 15 articles that match the topic show: 1) the STEM approach is suitable to be implemented in science learning in elementary schools, 2) the learning process with the STEM approach can run effectively if the topic of the issues raised focuses on real problems in students' daily lives, the teacher understands the learning model used in integrating with STEM, enabling student-centered learning by conducting investigations to solve problems. Elementary teachers still need training and guidance in applying the STEM approach during the learning process.
