Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of tourist destination image and service standards on the desire to revisit through visitor satisfaction as a mediating variable at tourist attractions in Semarang City. This study uses a quantitative survey-based paradigm. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 166 tourists who had visited tourist attractions in Semarang City using purposive sampling. Data processing was carried out using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the SmartPLS application. The findings of this study indicate that destination perception and service standards have a positive impact on visitor satisfaction. In addition, tourism image, service standards, and visitor satisfaction empirically have a positive effect on the intention to revisit. Mediation effect testing shows that visitor satisfaction successfully bridges the influence of place image and service standards on the intention to revisit. These findings indicate that the formation of a positive destination image and improvement of service standards play an important role in increasing tourist satisfaction and encouraging the intention to revisit. This study is expected to contribute practical recommendations for tourism image managers in designing strategies for sustainable tourism competitiveness development.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rising sustainability issues and the phenomenon of greenwashing in the mining sector, which demand better transparency and quality in sustainability reports. This study aims to analyze the influence of shareholder pressure, employee pressure, and government pressure on the quality of sustainability reports using legitimacy theory, while examining the role of profitability as a moderating variable and firm size as a control variable. The study employs a quantitative approach, focusing on mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2024 period. The research sample was obtained through purposive sampling, resulting in 138 observations, and was analyzed using panel data regression. The results show that employee pressure and government pressure have a positive and significant effect on the quality of sustainability reports, while shareholder pressure has no significant effect. Furthermore, profitability is proven to moderate the relationship between employee pressure and sustainability report quality in a negative direction, but it does not moderate the influence of shareholder or government pressure. These findings indicate that the improvement of sustainability reporting quality in the mining sector is more influenced by internal demands and regulatory pressure than by shareholders' financial orientation, suggesting that sustainability reports still function as a corporate legitimacy instrument in responding to specific stakeholder pressures.

Abstract

This study examines the role of blockchain technology in building digital trust and increasing the transparency and efficiency of Business-to-Business (B2B) transactions through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. A literature search was conducted in the Scopus database, referring to PRISMA guidelines, and limited to English-language journal articles relevant to the B2B context. Descriptive and thematic analyses were used to map publication trends, research distribution, and study focus. The results indicate that blockchain is positioned as a B2B transaction infrastructure based on immutable ledgers, smart contracts, and cross-organizational interoperability. Despite its widely recognized potential, the literature is still dominated by conceptual and sectoral studies, with limited empirical evidence across industries and challenges of scalability and regulation.

Abstract

This study analyzes the factors influencing the migration of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) from Blitar Regency to overseas destinations during the period 2010–2024, with a particular focus on the roles of poverty levels, the District Minimum Wage (UMK), and average years of schooling. The research employs a quantitative approach using a correlational method based on secondary time-series data, which are analyzed through multiple linear regression using EViews software. The estimation results indicate that the poverty level has a negative and statistically significant effect on the number of migrant workers, suggesting that extremely poor households face financial constraints that limit their ability to finance international migration processes. Meanwhile, the UMK and average years of schooling variables exhibit negative and positive coefficient directions, respectively, but are not statistically significant, indicating that increases in wages and education have not been able to directly restrain migration flows. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect PMI migration, with a coefficient of determination of 0.569. These findings demonstrate that labor migration decisions are multidimensional and influenced not only by economic factors but also by social and structural factors. The results support the push and pull theory of international labor migration, particularly in the context of semi-agrarian regions. Therefore, policies aimed at reducing forced migration should focus on strengthening local economic development, creating productive employment opportunities, and improving the quality of vocational education.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of digitization of personnel services in moderating the relationship between employee competence, organizational support, and employee performance at the Regional Office VII of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Palembang. The research emphasizes the strategic role of digital personnel systems in strengthening the contribution of human resource factors to performance outcomes within public sector organizations. This study employed a quantitative survey design involving 73 civil servants at the Regional Office VII of BKN Palembang. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4.0, and all measurement instruments met the required validity and reliability criteria (AVE > 0.50; CR > 0.70). The results show that employee competence and organizational support have significant positive effects on employee performance. The digitization of personnel services further enhances performance by improving efficiency and transparency, while partially moderating the effects of competence and organizational support on performance. The study concludes that personnel digitalization strengthens the impact of employee competence and organizational support on performance, indicating the need for an integrated strategy that combines competency development, organizational support, and effective digital personnel systems in public sector organizations. This research is limited by its focus on a single government institution, which may restrict the generalizability of the findings. In addition, the use of self-reported data may introduce response bias, and the cross-sectional design does not capture changes over time. This study contributes to human resource management and public administration literature by empirically confirming the moderating role of personnel digitalization in government settings, while offering practical insights for improving civil servant performance through integrated competence development, organizational support, and digital transformation.

Abstract

The current research attempts to investigate the aforementioned factors along with several others as they apply to public service institutions: the ethical climate, organizational commitment, and psychological safety. The premise of the study is that these three factors are instrumental in building a transparent, accountable, and public-oriented government service culture. The researchers selected a quantitative explanatory design in which they surveyed 200 civil servants via purposive sampling to collect their data. The data analysis involved confirming the validation, reliability, and classical assumptions first and then applying multiple linear regression analysis to obtain results. The outcome discloses that ethical climate, organizational commitment, and psychological safety significantly and positively influence ethical work behavior. The research contributes on the theoretical level to the literature with regard to the public sector and organizational behavior by providing empirical evidence of the factors influencing the ethical conduct of civil servants. From a practical point of view, the study's outcomes suggest that the integrity, commitment, and psychological safety of the public service agencies' policy and management practices would positively affect the quality of service provided to the public.

Abstract

Human resources are the most important element in an organization because they play a direct role in the sustainability and operational effectiveness, so organizations need to pay attention to the work environment as one of the factors that can affect employee performance. This study aims to analyze the condition of the work environment, measure the level of employee performance, and determine and empirically test the extent of the influence of the work environment on employee performance at the Office of Public Works, Spatial Planning, and Land Affairs of DKI Jakarta Province in 2024. Data collection was carried out using the entire population or saturated sample, namely 27 employees, with a descriptive quantitative approach through simple linear regression analysis. The analysis results show a t-value of 14.641 > t-table 2.060, so it can be concluded that the work environment variable (X) has a significant effect on the employee performance variable (Y). The coefficient of determination (R Square) value of 0.896 indicates that the work environment affects employee performance by 89.6%, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other variables outside this study.
