Flipped classroom is a learning model used during hybrid learning during the co-19 pandemic, this provides a very significant paradigm shift because it provides a solution to learning with limited time. In addition, wordwall media which is widely used during online learning also provides a breath of fresh air in the world of education because it presents more interactive learning. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to plan, implement, and learn outcomes using the flipped classroom model with wordwall media. The method used in this research is descriptive in the form of classroom action research. The results of this study are the flipped classroom learning model with wordwall media for learning to write response texts that have been successful up to the second cycle, each cycle in the implementation of learning plans, implementation, and learning outcomes has increased significantly. The learning implementation plan experienced an increase of 19.59% between cycle I and cycle II. Implementation of learning has increased 35.29%. And learning outcomes have increased from only 24 students who complete to 35 students who complete. Based on this, the conclusion is that the flipped classroom learning model with wordwall media is able to improve students' writing response text skills.

Abstract

Depictions of people's lives not only occur in the real world, but are also found in literary works. One of the literary works that presents stories about life through writing is a novel, such as the novel entitled Malioboro at Midnight by Skysphire. In the novel Malioboro at Midnight by Skysphire, there are activities carried out by the characters, namely social actions. The main characteristics of social action are the target of sociological research. Therefore, this research aims to describe in depth and obtain an objective picture of the main characteristics of social action in the novel Malioboro at Midnight by Skysphire. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research approach is a combination of two fields of study, namely literary sociology. The research was carried out through several stages, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained in this research are (1) actions that have subjective meaning, namely positive and negative assumptions, (2) actions that are mental and subjective, namely feelings of anger that dominate, (3) actions that have a positive influence, namely the application of social values. which is beneficial to other people and gives inner satisfaction to the perpetrator, (4) the action is directed at other people to get a response, namely rational, instrumental and affective action, and (5) the action is a response, namely affective action. So, it can be concluded that sociological aspects in the form of the main characteristics of social action can be described objectively in literary works.

Abstract

This research examines two Dayak Kanayatn folktales from Landak Regency, West Kalimantan, namely “Anak Sabalah” and “Arum Beristri Tuan Bungsu Anak Raja”. The purpose of this research is to find the storytelling environment, structure, and meaning of the story of "Anak Sabalah" and to find the storytelling environment, structure, and meaning of the story of "Arum Beristri Tuan Bungsu Anak Raja", the Dayak folklore of Kanayatn. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study focuses on the storytelling environment, structure, and meaning of the tales. Data were gathered through document analysis and interviews, then validated by prolonged observation, triangulation, and referential adequacy. The results show that the stories are conveyed through narrative and dialogue in a traditional community, highlighting changes in character functions due to broken promises and the predominance of goodness that ultimately prevails. The meanings of the two tales involve humans relationship with God (faith in Jubata and destiny), with others (mutual giving and deliberation), with oneself (determination, humility, courage), and with nature (mutual dependence). Based on these findings, it is recommended to preserve the folktales, utilize local wisdom in regional policy-making, and incorporate them as teaching material for fantasy (folktale) texts in seventh-grade junior high school classes.

Abstract

This study examines the issue of teacher professionalism in Indonesia’s border areas, which still face significant disparities compared to urban regions. Using a qualitative approach through library research, this article analyzes the current conditions, challenges, and strategies for strengthening teacher professionalism in 3T areas (frontier, outermost, disadvantaged regions). The findings indicate that teachers in border areas encounter structural, geographical, socio-cultural, and psychosocial barriers, ranging from unequal teacher distribution, limited incentives, inadequate school facilities, to weak community support. Government programs such as SM-3T, Frontline Teacher (GGD), and the National Teacher Distribution System (SPGN) have been implemented, yet their effectiveness remains limited. Non-governmental initiatives and educational technology innovations present opportunities, but digital infrastructure and literacy gaps remain major challenges. This study highlights the need to strengthen teacher professionalism through a holistic approach that integrates government policies, local community participation, philanthropic support, and contextualized digital innovations. Such an approach is essential not only for improving educational quality and equity but also for reinforcing national resilience in border regions.
