Abstract

Visual design influences an app's user-friendliness in digital applications-this study takes Shopee, Gojek, and Ruangguru MSN with their interfaces as examples Looking through these popular apps 'current visual strategies, it is hoped that readers will come to understand how user engagement quality impacts on other details. To get this insight a Qualitative descriptive approach has been used in which direct observation and interviews were held for ten active users coming from different regions. The result shows well-organized, simple layouts enable users to experience the features more convenient. Gojek received the most enthusiastic response thanks to its clear design and general ease of access to main functions. Shopee, although extremely visually rich, was often felt to be too busy due to a plethora of concurrent promotions and features. Ruangguru, on the other hand, conveyed a relaxed atmosphere helpful to learning activities. But certain parts needed to be improved in order to facilitate accessibility betterThe findings suggest that visual arrangements more in tune with users' daily habits can lead to better experiences for users. The emphasis on being clear and structurally coherent emerges as one of the most egg-packing features in delivering smooth, pleasing user experience.

Abstract

As far as stock prices are concerned, the consideration of both internal and external factors, is very necessary. In this study, we use financial ratios and interest rates as variables to study from 2019 - 2023 the stock prices of manufacturing firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Internal variables investigated here include Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Earnings Per Share (EPS); while the external variable to be considered is the benchmark interest interest rate. The data used in this study is from the company's own annual reports and internet sources such as Yahoo Finance. A regression model with a Fixed Effect approach took into account both the differences in company characteristics. These analyses shed light on problems such as whether the ROA and EPS affect stock price positive effects at the expense of DER. Instead, we find a significant negative effect on stock prices by benchmark interest rate. The adjusted R² nugget shows that the model is capable of shedding 0.961 units lighter elsewhere in explaining stock price changes. These results are able to help investors and company managers make their market performance related decisions more intelligently by revealing the factors that influence stock price movements.

Abstract

Tourism is a vital sector in the economic development of Bali Province, with the number of international tourist arrivals through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport as the main indicator. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of international tourists reached its peak in 2019 with over 16.1 million visits. However, in 2020–2021, there was a drastic decline due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, the number of international tourist arrivals began to show a significant recovery. In 2023, the number of international tourist arrivals to Indonesia reached 11.68 million, most of whom entered through major airports such as I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali). The inaccuracy of the tourist arrival grouping process has had a negative impact on business growth and tourism revenue. This study aims to classify the countries of origin of international tourists based on the number of visits using the K-Means Clustering method, an effective unsupervised data mining algorithm for data segmentation. Data was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), covering the number of tourist arrivals and their countries of origin from 2018 to 2024. The analysis process involves determining the optimal number of clusters using the Elbow Method, followed by grouping countries based on visit characteristics. The results of the study indicate that tourist countries of origin can be grouped into three main clusters: high-visit countries (Australia and China), medium-visit countries, and low-visit countries. This study provides strategic insights for the government and tourism industry stakeholders in developing more targeted policies, such as improving transportation infrastructure and implementing more effective marketing strategies to maintain and increase the number of tourist visits to Bali.

Abstract

In this work, laboratory and demographic data were integrated to create a deep learning model for HIV screening. The rising incidence of HIV in Indonesia necessitates the development of more effective and precise screening techniques for early identification. The created methodology improves the accuracy of HIV status prediction by integrating many laboratory indicators, including total blood count, viral load, CD4 count, and patient demographic information. For the years 2020–2024, 5,847 patient samples from different Indonesian hospitals made up the dataset. A Deep Neural Network (DNN) architecture with Grid Search hyperparameter optimization was employed in this investigation. According to the evaluation results, the model obtained an F1 score of 93.5%, a sensitivity of 92.8%, a specificity of 95.1%, and an accuracy of 94.2%. When compared to using only laboratory data, the model's performance increased by 3.7% when demographic data was included. This methodology can lessen laboratory burden while assisting medical staff in doing HIV screening more quickly and accurately. An external validation plan has been created with a testing strategy using a separate dataset from ten referral hospitals that were not part of the model training process in order to guarantee the model's dependability in clinical application. To boost the confidence of medical staff, a workable implementation has been created in the form of an API and web application that can be included into the hospital's current information systems and provide an explanation of the prediction results. To help healthcare facilities with different resource levels embrace this technology, technical and clinical implementation recommendations are offered. In order to assess how well the model works to increase HIV detection rates and clinical workflow efficiency, a post-implementation impact evaluation is planned. The efficiency of HIV prevention and control initiatives in Indonesia might be greatly increased by incorporating this paradigm into the healthcare system.

Abstract

This study examines functional oversight reform as a strategic instrument to strengthen regional financial governance in Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province. The research is motivated by weak internal control systems and limited inspectorate capacity, which often trigger irregularities in financial management. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, data were gathered through in-depth interviews with key informants the Inspector of Bone Bolango Regency, three auditors, and two supporting staff supported by observations and document analysis. The analysis identifies five core themes. First, functional oversight reform through the Government Internal Control System SPIP, shifting supervision from reactive to preventive. Second, financial governance strategies emphasizing risk-based auditing and the creation of task forces within OPD. Third, the use of information technology to enhance transparency, efficiency, and real time risk mapping, though constrained by infrastructure and human resources. Fourth, the role of organizational culture, especially integrity, professionalism, and participatory leadership, in sustaining effective oversight. Fifth, community involvement via the whistleblowing system and the WASKITA Clinic, which strengthens accountability despite low participation. The study contributes theoretically by emphasizing the interplay of structural, cultural, and technological factors in determining the effectiveness of public sector oversight. From a policy standpoint, it highlights the need for stronger governmental commitment to empower inspectorates as internal supervisory bodies (APIP), enhance digital infrastructure, improve human resource competence, and expand public literacy on financial monitoring. These policy implications aim to build a more adaptive, accountable, and transparent financial oversight system that supports sustainable regional governance.

Abstract

The development of social media has significantly influenced the way companies establish relationships with their consumers, In an increasingly competitive environment, marketing strategies that involve direct interaction through digital platforms are becoming more crucial for building brand loyalty. This study aims to understand how promotional activities through social media can strengthen consumer loyalty, by considering brand trust and perceptions of brand value as mediating factors that connect these elements. After the raw data had been collected and analyzed through a process that included picking out active Instagram users, we selected those who have followed skincare brand accounts and bought products right after exposure to promotional information. Utilizing SmartPLS software for Structural Equation Modeling, it was found that the quality of a message, visual impact and social interaction represent the three factors which have great influence on whether trust is established or else there will be positive or negative evaluation for your brand. Trust, which builds up from good experiences and consistent communication, as it turns out leads to emotional connections. With these connections in place, it becomes easier to stick around and harder to leave--for repeated generic preferences over time. Also, perceptions of product value and quality serve as reinforcing factors in shaping repeat purchase decisions. The research findings suggest that successful marketing strategies can not only be based on the frequency of social media appearances, but should instead see how relationships are actively and authentically fostered. Enterprises that keep up two-way communication and give consistent experiences will have a better chance for higher customer loyalty. These findings lay a necessary groundwork for business practitioners to design digital approaches less reliant on random solitude and more enabled through social relationships.

Abstract

The economic uncertainty experienced by developing countries like Indonesia has the potential to disrupt food security, which is an essential element for social and economic stability. Changes in the international economic environment, such as inflation, fluctuation in exchange rates, and variations in international policies can often have an impact on supply or availability of food. But it is under these circumstances that business openness must function as an instrument of moderation in increasing uncertainty for food security. As a result, this research attempts to discuss the relationship between economic uncertainty and food security in Indonesia, and how business openness serves to amplify or dampen the effects of economic uncertainty on food production. Panel data from the years 2019 to 2024 is used cm this analysis. The findings bring out that business openness has a positive effect on food security, while economic uncertainty has a negative one. Meanwhile, interaction between economic uncertainty and business openness suggests that the more open an economy is economically, the less negative will be its weight on food production. It underscores the importance of policies combining good with global integration to the domestic food sector, if food security in Indonesia is to be secure in the face of global economic uncertainty that unsettles everything.
