Abstract

The development of information technology has brought about a major transformation in the field of education, particularly in the management of academic data and school administration. The process of determining educational assistance recipients at State Elementary School 09 Benteng is still done manually, thus potentially causing subjectivity. The absence of a website-based decision support system results in a less efficient selection process, suboptimal assessment results, and unstructured recipient criteria management. In addition, through the main discussion in this study aims to be able to design a website-based decision support system using the Profile Matching method to determine educational assistance recipients at State Elementary School 09 Benteng. This system is expected to support a more objective, structured and targeted selection process based on predetermined criteria. And in addition, the Research Method section used in this study is a descriptive quantitative approach. This method was chosen because the main objective of the study is not only to analyze a phenomenon, but also to design, develop, implement and test a website-based decision support system with the profile matching method. Based on the overall description in this study, the author can conclude that the website-based Decision Support System (DSS) for determining educational assistance recipients at State Elementary School 09 Benteng was successfully developed using the Profile Matching method to produce a more objective, structured and transparent selection process. This system replaces the previous, subjective manual method with a systematic assessment process, starting from determining criteria, weighting, calculating gap scores, and finally ranking. The results of data processing on 20 students showed that Maulana Malikul Ashori Putra obtained the highest score of 4,598 (rank 1), followed by Raka Dwi Kapo with the same score of 4,598 (rank 2) and Alfatin Rahma with a score of 4,540 (rank 3).

Abstract

The fast increase in online shopping in Indonesia has made it harder for e-commerce platforms to stand out from each other. Despite Tokopedia actively holding mega sale campaigns to boost sales, its conversion rate remains low at only 1–1.5%, and its Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) continues to decline while Shopee's visitor numbers and GMV show an upward trend. This condition suggests that impulse buying behavior among Tokopedia users has not been optimally stimulated despite large scale promotions being held. This study looks into haw sales promotion influence impulse buying and checks how fear of missing out (FoMO) affects this relationship among Tokopedia users during big sale events. Through the use of questionnaires given to 104 individuals, data was collected and then analysed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) as a quantitative method. The findings indicate that sales promotions lead to more impulse buying, and feeling anxious about missing out makes this effect even stronger. This means people who experiemce higher levels of FoMO are more likely to make impulse buying when they see promotional offers. These findings imply that promotional strategies designed to generate urgency will be more effective when consumers have high levels of FoMO.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce has placed increasing pressure on small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt user-centered digital platforms that meet evolving consumer expectations. This study aims to design and evaluate the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of a WooCommerce-based e-commerce platform using the Design Thinking methodology and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The research employed a quantitative-descriptive approach, involving 88 respondents drawn from the School of Business and Management at Logistik dan Bisnis Internasional University using the Slovin formula. The Design Thinking process was applied across five iterative stages Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test to generate a High-Fidelity (Hi-Fi) prototype responsive to user needs. UEQ evaluation results indicate that the redesigned platform achieved Excellent ratings for Attractiveness (mean = 1.778) and Dependability (mean = 1.710), Good ratings for Efficiency (mean = 1.776), Stimulation (mean = 1.599), and Novelty (mean = 1.122), and an Above Average rating for Perspicuity (mean = 1.696). These findings confirm that the Design Thinking approach effectively improves UI/UX quality for WooCommerce-based platforms, contributing to enhanced digital adoption among MSMEs. Future research is recommended to extend the evaluation to a broader and more diverse user population.

Abstract

The increasing complexity of Islamic educational institutions requires educators and educational staff to demonstrate a high level of adaptability in responding to changing organizational demands and overlapping job roles. This study tests a dual parallel mediation model, in which self-efficacy and resilience act as mediators in the relationship between job crafting, role ambiguity, and adaptive performance. The study aims to address the lack of empirical evidence regarding the psychological mechanisms underlying adaptive performance among educators and educational staff in Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. Employing an explanatory, cross-sectional quantitative design, this study gathered data through a structured survey completed by 152 PTK members drawn purposively from six private Islamic schools in Polokarto Sub-district, Sukoharjo Regency. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that job crafting has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy, resilience, and adaptive performance. Conversely, role ambiguity had a direct negative effect on adaptive performance, while its indirect effects via self-efficacy and resilience were not found to be significant. Furthermore, self-efficacy and resilience fully mediated the relationship between job crafting and adaptive performance, with resilience emerging as the strongest mediator (f² = 0.368). This study contributes to the development of the literature by integrating Social Cognitive Theory and the Job Demands–Resources Model into a single conceptual framework, while also affirming the central role of psychological resources in enhancing adaptive performance within the context of Islamic educational institutions in non-Western countries. Practically, educational institutions are advised to strengthen job crafting practices, improve role clarity, and develop programs to enhance psychological resources. For future research, it is recommended that researchers adopt a longitudinal design and include a wider variety of educational institutions, so that the findings can be generalized more broadly.

Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to investigate how perceived workspace design impacts staff productivity, incorporating internal drive as a mediating factor within an Indonesian manufacturing context at PT XYZ. By applying the Person-Environment Fit theory within the context of management science, this research addresses a theoretical gap regarding the interplay of physical ergonomics and psychological support in non-Western organizational settings. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed, utilizing saturated sampling to collect primary data via questionnaires from 40 active employees in the PPIC and Accounting divisions. Data processing was executed utilizing the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach via SmartPLS software. The empirical findings demonstrate a solid framework, accounting for 71.9% of the variations in workforce productivity. Office layout perception demonstrates a significant positive direct effect on both employee performance (p = 0.006) and work motivation (p = 0.000). Furthermore, work motivation significantly drives performance (p = 0.000) and acts as a crucial mediator in the layout-performance relationship (indirect effect p = 0.000). The findings underscore the necessity of tailoring workspace designs to specific operational needs, such as open-plan spaces for communication-heavy tasks and partitioned areas for focus-intensive work. Ultimately, to sustain operational efficiency and human resource effectiveness, management should prioritize targeted physical environment improvements, such as optimized lighting and ventilation, alongside supportive organizational policies.

Abstract

Digital transformation has reshaped how manufacturing firms organize work and manage employees. In this setting, resilience depends not only on technology, but also on the capacity of the HR function to align people, skills, and organizational priorities. This study investigates whether Strategic Human Resource Management (HRM) Capability strengthens Organizational Resilience directly and through Learning Agility. The research was conducted among employees of manufacturing companies operating in five industrial areas in West Java: KIIC, EJIP, GIIC, Jababeka Industrial Estate-Cikarang, and MM2100 Industrial Town. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected through a survey of 75 permanent employees selected purposively. Eligible respondents had at least one year of work experience and were involved in work processes affected by digital transformation. The model was tested with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that Strategic HRM Capability has a positive and significant relationship with both Organizational Resilience and Learning Agility. Learning Agility also contributes positively and significantly to Organizational Resilience. Nevertheless, its indirect role was not statistically significant, indicating that the influence of Strategic HRM Capability on resilience operates mainly through a direct pathway rather than through Learning Agility. These results suggest that manufacturing firms should place greater emphasis on strategic workforce alignment, digital HR practices, competency development, and adaptive work systems. Strengthening these capabilities can help organizations respond more effectively to technological disruption and uncertainty while maintaining continuity during digital transformation.

Abstract

Pain assessment in infants, particularly neonates, remains a challenging task due to their inability to verbally communicate pain. Therefore, pain evaluation commonly relies on indirect indicators, including facial expressions, crying behavior, and physiological responses. This study aims to review existing methods and technologies for infant pain detection through facial expression analysis using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the PRISMA framework. The review process involved several stages, including identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion of relevant studies, resulting in 27 articles selected for further analysis. The findings indicate that Deep Learning-based approaches, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), are the most frequently applied techniques for analyzing infant facial expressions in pain detection systems. Furthermore, recent studies have explored multimodal approaches by combining facial expressions with crying sounds and physiological signals to improve detection performance. Despite these advancements, several challenges remain, including limited data availability, lack of standardized public datasets, and difficulties in validating models across different clinical settings. Overall, artificial intelligence-based approaches demonstrate significant potential in supporting more objective and consistent infant pain assessment. This review provides insights into current research trends and future directions for developing reliable pain detection systems to assist healthcare professionals in neonatal care.

Abstract

This study examines whether customer satisfaction acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between E-Service Quality (e-SQ) and customer loyalty among myBCA users in Indonesia. The research evaluates four dimensions of e-SQ, consisting of efficiency, fulfillment, system availability, and privacy, to identify how each dimension contributes to user satisfaction and loyalty in mobile banking services. A quantitative survey design was applied, and data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to myBCA users who met the study criteria. A total of 221 valid responses were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results show that efficiency and fulfillment significantly enhance customer satisfaction, while system availability and privacy do not show significant effects on satisfaction. In contrast, all four e-SQ dimensions have significant positive effects on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction, however, does not significantly influence customer loyalty and fails to mediate the relationship between e-SQ dimensions and loyalty. These findings suggest that loyalty toward myBCA is driven more by users’ direct evaluation of service performance than by satisfaction as an intervening factor. The “study contributes to digital banking research by demonstrating that” functional service quality may have a stronger direct role in retaining users than satisfaction in the mobile banking context.
