Abstract

This study aims to examine the model of Islamic education in building interfaith tolerance in Jordan, with a focus on state policy and the role of religious institutions. Jordan is known as a country that has succeeded in displaying the face of moderate Islam and becoming an example of the practice of religious tolerance in the Middle East region. The approach used in this study is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on 21 relevant scientific articles, both national and international, published in the last ten years. Data were collected through the stages of identification, selection, analysis, and synthesis of literature. The results of the study indicate that the Islamic education model in Jordan is built on the principle of moderate(moderate), interfaith dialogue, and integration of tolerance values ​​in the religious education curriculum. The Jordanian government actively formulates national policies that support religious moderation, such as through the national curriculum, training of religious teachers, and capacity building programs for Islamic educational institutions. On the other hand, religious institutions such as the Ministry of Awqaf and the Islamic University of Jordan play an important role in disseminating the values ​​of tolerance and curbing extremism through lectures, sermons, and scientific publications. The discussion underlines the importance of synergy between the state and religious institutions in internalizing the values ​​of tolerance from primary education to higher education. The conclusion of this study confirms that the model of Islamic education in Jordan can be used as a reference in building a peaceful and inclusive multicultural society through a systemic policy approach and an active religious role.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Muslim minority areas, especially Denpasar, Bali, by highlighting adaptive and defensive dynamics in the curriculum. The results of the literature review show that the practice of PAI in public schools is still trapped in normative patterns, memorization, and is less connected to the social reality and local Islamic history. This condition creates a gap between the ideal achievement of the Independent Curriculum and the needs of the minority Muslim community. To answer these challenges, this study offers an adaptive–defensive curriculum model by combining four theoretical frameworks: the psychology of defense mechanisms, James A. Banks multicultural education, fiqh al-aqalliyyāt, and the SERVQUAL model for service quality evaluation. This conceptual model is expected to be able to strengthen Islamic identity, encourage social tolerance, and ensure educational justice. The study is conceptual and requires further validation through empirical research in the field.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the form and model of gender-based inclusive leadership at the Ponorogo State Islamic Institute Based on Service through the analysis of the Big Five Personality Treatment. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data collection techniques used are unstructured in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out during the research process and afterward through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions (verification). Data validity tests in this study include credibility, dependency, and confirmability tests. The results of the study are in the form of a pyramid with three levels of management, 1) top management, 2) middle management, and 3) staff management. Where the Rector as top management sets the goals and policies of IAIN Ponorogo through efforts to establish internal quality assurance standards. Middle management plays a role in developing human resources by clarifying tasks in each work unit. Staff management plays a role in good basic services. The characteristics of successful female leadership profiles at IAIN Ponorogo are shown by communication behavior in a relaxed atmosphere, open thinking in academic administration, maintaining personal relationships between lecturers and students, maintaining emotional stability of the academic community, team collaboration and mentoring, and increasing team motivation in realizing competitiveness targets. ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan model kepemimpinan inklusif berbasis gender di Institut Agama Islam Negeri Ponorogo Berbasis Pelayanan melalui analisis Perlakuan Kepribadian Lima Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam tidak terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan selama proses penelitian dan sesudahnya melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji kredibilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian yaitu bentuk piramida dengan tiga tingkatan manajemen, 1) manajemen puncak, 2) manajemen madya, dan 3) manajemen staf. Dimana Rektor sebagai manajemen puncak menetapkan tujuan dan kebijakan IAIN Ponorogo melalui upaya penetapan standar penjaminan mutu internal. Manajemen madya berperan dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia dengan memperjelas tugas pada setiap unit kerja. Manajemen staf berperan dalam pelayanan dasar yang baik. Ciri-ciri profil kepemimpinan perempuan yang sukses di IAIN Ponorogo ditunjukkan dengan perilaku komunikasi dalam suasana santai, berpikir terbuka dalam administrasi akademik, menjaga hubungan personal antara dosen dan mahasiswa, menjaga kestabilan emosional civitas akademika, kolaborasi dan mentoring tim, meningkatkan motivasi tim dalam mewujudkan target daya saing. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan inklusif; gender; pelayanan; lima kepribadian besar.

Abstract

Ilmu pengetahuan berkembang seiring dengan kemajuan epistemologi, yaitu kajian tentang sumber, metode, dan validitas pengetahuan. Tidak terkecuali pada studi keIslaman. Studi ini berangkat dari pemahaman bahwa setiap tindakan, termasuk proses epistemologis, memerlukan prasyarat tertentu agar tujuan dapat tercapai secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prasyarat epistemologi studi Islam. Penlitian ini berjenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Data primer berasal dari buku Epistemologi Studi Islam karya Mujamil Qamar (2024), sedangkan data sekunder berupa buku-buku, jurnal, serta referensi-referensi yang relevan pada studi ini. eknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumen dan pencarian literatur sistematis, dilanjutkan dengan seleksi literatur berdasarkan relevansi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi tema, mengkategorikan konsep, dan mensintesis pemikiran secara argumentatif dan logis. Hasil penelitian ini adalah dalam epistemologi studi Islam, terdapat prasyarat yang meliputi orientasi teologi, landasan etika, dan keberadaan perangkat utama berupa indera, rasio, dan hati. Orientasi teologi menekankan kepercayaan transendental terhadap pertolongan Allah dalam usaha ilmiah. Landasan etika memastikan bahwa pengetahuan yang diperoleh membawa manfaat moral dan sosial. Sementara itu, penggunaan indera, rasio, dan hati berperan dalam memperoleh dan memverifikasi kebenaran pengetahuan. Kata Kunci:Epistemologi; studi Islam; keIslaman; filsafat ilmu.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of records management as a key element in supporting good governance at the Class I TPI Immigration Office in Yogyakarta. With the advancement of information technology, active dynamic records have become essential for maintaining the speed and accuracy of public services. Proper records management supports transparency, accountability, and effectiveness, which are core principles of good governance. According to Law No. 43 of 2009 on Archiving, active dynamic records not only serve as authentic sources of information but also hold administrative, legal, and historical value for institutions. This paper aims to identify the application of these principles in managing active dynamic records at the Yogyakarta Immigration Office and address various challenges faced, such as limited understanding of the importance of records management and low support from leadership. Through a systematic approach and the use of technology, this study provides insights into strategies to maximize the role of records as a support tool in public services and to maintain public trust in government institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh citra merek, harga, dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa di Institut Bisnis dan Teknologi Kalimantan (IBITEK), di tengah tantangan seperti penurunan jumlah pendaftar, perubahan nama dan status lembaga, daya saing biaya kuliah, serta keluhan mahasiswa terkait fasilitas dan standar layanan. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif-kausal, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur dari 270 mahasiswa yang dipilih berdasarkan rumus Slovin dan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa citra merek, kewajaran harga, dan kualitas pelayanan secara bersama-sama menjelaskan 54% variasi dalam kepuasan mahasiswa (R² = 0,54), dengan masing-masing faktor memberikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan secara individu (p < 0,05). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memandang citra merek institusi kuat, biaya kuliah wajar dibandingkan kualitas layanan, dan tingkat kepuasan secara keseluruhan tinggi, yang tercermin dari niat mereka untuk merekomendasikan IBITEK dan melanjutkan studi di kampus ini. Untuk mempertahankan daya saing, penelitian ini merekomendasikan prioritas pada kemitraan dengan industri, pengembangan program soft skill dan peluang pembelajaran berbasis lapangan, serta menjaga keseimbangan antara keterjangkauan biaya pendidikan dan peningkatan layanan. Temuan ini memberikan strategi praktis bagi perguruan tinggi dalam menghadapi tantangan pasca-rebranding dan mengoptimalkan pengalaman mahasiswa.
