Abstract

The problem in this study was to determine the effectiveness of using the WhatsApp application in online learning for fourth grade students at SDN 139 Sakkoli, Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era. Data was collected by means of in-depth interviews. Data reduction analysis techniques, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The effectiveness of the use of WhatsApp in online learning can be seen from six descriptors, namely, (1) students' motivation to participate in learning, (2) independence in completing assignments, (3) completion time of assignments/sending assignments, (4) quality of work done, (5) mastery of the material, (6) and character building. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of using the Whatsapp application in online learning for fourth grade students at SDN 139 Sakkoli, Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era is quite effective, because of the 50% of students interviewed there were only four who had moderate motivation in learning using WhatsApp, four students did not do assignments independently, four students sent assignments according to the predetermined time limit, three students got grades according to predetermined standards and four students did not master the learning material that had been given by the teacher via whatsapp

Abstract

This study examines the application of the Learning Cycle Model to improving student learning outcomes in science subjects for class V SD Negeri 227 Bera. The main problems studied are how the process of implementing the Learning Cycle in increasing student learning activities in science subjects about the properties of light in class V and whether the application of the learning cycle can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects about the properties of light in class V. The approach used is a qualitative approach and the type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The focus of the research is the activities of teachers and students by applying the Learning Cycle to science subjects and science learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class V. There were 15 students consisting of 10 boys and 5 girls. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and documentation. Based on the type of research used, namely classroom action research which consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research data obtained in the first cycle are only less qualified (C), then an increase in the second cycle becomes good qualification (B) The conclusion from the results of this study is that applying the Learning Cycle can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects in class V .

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan interaksi sosial dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Inpres 3/77 Watu Kecamatan Barebbo Kabupaten Bone. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Inpres 3/77 Watu sebanyak 2 kelas, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 53 siswa yaitu kelas VA sebanyak 27 orang dan kelas VB sebanyak 26 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung (3.90653) > ttabel (1.67528) yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signfikan antara interaksi sosial dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Inpres 3/77 Watu Kecamatan Barebbo Kabupaten Bone.

Abstract

This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research that aims to find out how the perceptions of classroom teachers at SD Inpres 6/75 Ta Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Kabupaten Bone, regarding 21st century learning skills today. Data was collected by giving questionnaires (questionnaire) and in-depth interviews. Data reduction analysis techniques, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Class teachers' perceptions of 21st century learning can be viewed from four descriptors, namely, (1) Teacher's motivation to always apply 21st century skills. (2) Learning skills always support the components of creative thinking and collaboration of students. (3) Encouraging students to always demonstrate the ability to think critically and communicate well. (4) Teachers try to improve their quality by improving their information, media and technology skills. The results of the study showed that the 5 classroom teachers who were interviewed, 4 of whom did not experience obstacles in the implementation of 21st century learning, only 1 class teacher who experienced slight obstacles, namely during the ICT learning process where facilities and infrastructure were felt to be lacking to support the 21st century skills learning process. The conclusion of this study is that the perception of classroom teachers on 21st century learning at SD Inpres 6/75 Ta Kecamatan Tanete Riattang District Kabupaten Bone is said to be good and can improve students' skills in 21st century learning.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the economic level of different parents has a relationship with the learning achievement of fifth grade students in SD Gugus 4, Sibulue District, Bone Regency. Because parents who have a high economic level can meet the school needs of their children, as well as parents with lower economic levels do not pay attention to the school needs of their children because many basic needs must be met. The approach used in the research is a quantitative approach. The type of research used is descriptive research that is correlational. The data analysis technique used is Jaspen's correlation analysis technique. The results showed that the economic level of the parents of fifth grade elementary school students in Sibulue District, Bone Regency, was in the middle category or middle class, namely 57 students with a percentage of 85.07%. The learning achievement of fifth graders of SD Cluster 4, Sibulue District, Bone Regency is in the medium category, namely 45 students with a percentage of 67.16%. Then based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the jaspen correlation of rcount (0.4182) rtable (0.2027) thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of the study, it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between the economic level of parents and the learning achievement of fifth grade elementary school students, Sibulue District, Bone Regency.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya pendampingan orang tua terhadap siswa ketika belajar di rumah sehingga berdampak pada prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan yang signifikan antara pendampingan belajar oleh orang tua dengan prestasi belajar siswa di SD Negeri 217 Kampuno. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara antara pendampingan belajar oleh orang tua dengan prestasi belajar siswa di SD Negeri 217 Kampuno dengan nilai thitung (1,86) lebih besar (>) nilai ttabel (1,68) yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan pendampingan belajar oleh orang tua akan berdampak pada prestasi belajar siswa. Jadi, semakin baik pendampingan belajar yang dilakukan orang tua maka akan meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Dari kesimpulan tersebut, maka dampak yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa pendampingan belajar yang baik akan meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a significant relationship between humanist attitudes and social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade elementary school students in cluster I. This type of research is a descriptive quantitative research with correlational model. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between humanist attitudes and social studies learning outcomes for fourth graders of SD Cluster I. The tcount value was 2,294 which was greater than ttable, so the alternative hypothesis H1 was accepted while H0 was rejected. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between humanist attitudes and social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Cluster I. The impact of this research is that it is known that there is a contribution given by a humanist attitude to social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Cluster. I.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the availability of student learning facilities at home on the learning achievement of fifth graders of SD Gugus II, Tanete  Riattang District, Bone Regency. This research is a quantitative research with the type of      correlational research with ex post facto model. The population in this study amounted to 136  students with a sample of 68 people, namely 50% of the total population. Data collection using questionnaires and documentation. The results of descriptive statistical analysis describe the availability of student learning facilities at home in the medium category with a frequency value of 45 and a percentage of 66%. While the results of descriptive analysis describe student achievement in the medium category with a frequency value of 51 and a percentage of 75%. statistical results show that rcount is 0.668 while rtable at the 5% significance level is 0.2387 so that rcount is rtable (0.668 0.2387). As for the conclusion, there is a significant effect between the availability of learning  facilities at home on the learning achievement of fifth graders of SD Gugus II, Tanete  Riattang district, Bone regency.

Abstract

This study examines the application of the Show and Tell learning method on advertising materials to improve the speaking skills of students class V UPTD SD Negeri 145 Barru. The approach used is a qualitative approach and the type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The implementation of this research action was carried out in 2 cycles starting with pre-action activities then in each cycle consisting of 4 stages which included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Meanwhile, to find out the process of applying and improving students' speaking skills, the researchers used observation sheets and performance tests. The subjects in this study were students of class V UPTD SD Negeri 145 Barru in the academic year 2020/2021, which amounted to 22 students consisting of 10 boys and 12 girls. Data analysis was carried out during and after data collection. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis techniques. Based on the data obtained during the implementation of cycle I and Cycle II, it was found that the results of the research in the first cycle showed a sufficient category, and an increase in the second cycle which showed a good category and achieved the predetermined indicators. The conclusion of this study is that by applying the Show and tell learning method on advertising material, it can improve process of learning and speaking skills of the students class V of UPTD SD Negeri 145 Barru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V Sd Negeri 22 Jeppe’e Kec.Tanete Riattang Barat Kab.Bone dalam mengerjakan soal Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui soal Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) siswa kelas V SD Negeri 22 Jeppe’e tergolong dalam kirteria sedang, berdasarkan analaisis olah data pengakategorian kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian tes dan wawancara yang diperoleh di antaranya: 1) Sebagaian besar subjek memiliki pengalaman belajar dalam mengerjakan soal atau permasalahan baik yang diperoleh melalui proses pembelajaran di kelas sehingga dapat memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk berpikir kritis dalam menyelesaikan soal Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). 2) Nilai-nilai yang diperoleh siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) yaitu tinggi 13,51%, sedang 67,56% dan kurang 19,91 % dari keseluruhan sampel sebanyak 37 siswa. Nilai yang diperoleh hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu 70,33%, sehingga kemampuan berpikir krtisi siswa dikategrikan baik. dalam menyelesaikan soal Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS).Kata Kunci: Kemampuan berpikir kritis, Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), Pengalaman belajar
