Abstract

In Land Law in Indonesia, valid evidence for someone to prove himself as the holder of land rights is the existence of a land certificate in which the name of the right holder is written. With the land certificate, the holder of land rights already has juridical power over the land. Through land certificates that provide juridical control, land rights holders are also entitled to physical control of the land. The position of the landholder whose name and land has been registered is strong which is guaranteed certainty and legal protection. In the event that land becomes the object of sale and purchase, there are conditions and characteristics of buying and selling land that must be met in order for the legal act to be valid. To prove that there has been a sale and purchase of land, it is necessary to prove the existence of a Sale and Purchase Deed made by the Land Deed Making Officer. With the deed, the sale and purchase of land can be registered with the Land Office to provide legal certainty and protect the buyer as the holder of new land rights. The problem is when the process of buying and selling land stops at the process of paying prices only. Meanwhile, the buyer has mastered the land based on the receipt of payment of the sale and purchase price. For this reason, it is necessary to examine the good faith of buyers in buying and selling land in cases based on Supreme Court Decision Number 801 K / PDT / 2022. This research used normative legal research, which was carried out through literature studies. Research methods in analyzing and processing data are carried out qualitatively and are descriptive analytical with deductive logic conclusions.

Abstract

The medium of exchange can be any object that can be accepted by everyone in society in the process of exchanging goods and services. Long before knowing money, humans had made transactions using barter practices, that is, the exchange of goods and/or services for the desired goods and/or services. In the preparation of this research, a normative juridical approach where approach is carried out based on the main legal material by examining theories, concepts, legal principles, and laws and regulations related to this research. Cryptocurrency assets don't just impact people who mine or trade crypto. It turns out that anonymous platforms that run crypto are also increasingly associated with cybercrime. A recent study from Interisle Consulting Group revealed that phishing attempts related to cryptocurrencies grew 257 percent compared to last year (compared to a 61 percent increase in phishing attacks overall), especially for attacks on wallets and exchanges. The rapid development of information and communication technology makes the journey of the development of crime in the virtual and digital world (cybercrime) sophisticated and complex.

Abstract

Purpose: Government of Indonesia (GOI) has commitment to ensure that basic obstetric and newborn care is provided as to standard of care, through a pilot project of facilitative supervision conducted at 5 Primary Health Centre (PHC) of Ende district, in a series of combined online and onsite supervision during a period of 7 months, ended in December 2021. This operational research examined PHC’ readiness in providing emergency obstetric and newborn care, comparing intervened and control PHC. Methods: This present study used quasi experimental method, with Post-test Only Control Group design. Intervention of facilitative supervision only provided in one group, and assessment conducted in those 2 groups, comparing results between those groups. Unit analysis was PHC, 2 PHCs selected as intervened PHC, and 2 PHCs as control. Data were collected through direct observation using check list, assessment of patient’s records, and interview with several health workers. Results: In this operational study we compared the service coverage and readiness in providing emergency obstetric neonatal care, between PHC that received and not received intensive facilitative supervision in the previous 7 months. PHC in urban area handling very few obstetric complications but referred more cases to District Hospital (>90). However, intervened PHC provide obstetric complication care two times higher (8.33%) than control PHC (4.17%). Both intervened and control PHC in rural area, provide far more obstetric complication care (>60%) compared to those in urban area, with the coverage of referral case around 30-35% from total obstetric complication cases. Intervened PHC in rural area managing all neonatal complication cases, and shows the lowest percentage of neonatal death (1,2%) compare to other PHCs. Control PHC in rural area also managed 88.89% of neonatal complication cases, but has the highest percentage of neonatal death (4.17%). The significant difference between intervened and control PHC in the input side, lies in the availability of emergency team which should be minimal of 3 health workers consist of doctor, midwife and nurse; and availability of neonatal emergency kit. In the process side, the difference between intervened and control PHC is more obvious in rural area, the main difference lies in the unavailability of algorithm and SOP for post-partum bleeding, pre/eclampsia, and neonatal resuscitation at control PHC Conclusions: There is difference in the readiness of providing emergency maternal neonatal between intervened and control PHC only in rural area, indicate by higher compliance level value in the intervened PHC (77.14%) compared to control PHC (40%). The difference in the quality of care only obvious in rural area and in emergency neonatal care, indicate by 3,5x lower percentage of neonatal death in intervened PHC compared to the control PHC

Abstract

The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, which spread from March 2020 to April 2022, is very concerning. The government is making various efforts to reduce the spread of the virus, including implementing "social distancing" by limiting visits to crowded places and direct contact with other people. One of the methods used to implement social distancing is through working from home or "Work From Home" (WFH). This study aims to empirically test and prove the effect of WFH on employee performance where the variables of employee motivation and job satisfaction act as mediating variables and information technology capability variables as moderating variables. This research is a quantitative study with individual analysis units on 221 administrative staff from each faculty at Universitas Brawijaya through distributing questionnaires. The number of returned questionnaires was 95%. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study found that: WFH has no direct effect on employee performance; WFH affects employee performance as Employee Job Satisfaction is mediation; Employee Motivation does not mediate the effect of WFH on Employee Performance; also IT Capability does not moderate the effect of WFH on Employee Performance.

Abstract

Hospitals as labour-intensive and capital-intensive organizations, as well as providing medical and non-medical services require management to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of resources. However, this management must still pay attention to the quality of health services according to service standards and provide benefits for patients. Through Lean Management, continuous improvement can be made by eliminating waste, increasing added value, especially for patients. This is so that the hospital can be the choice of patients to entrust their health. This research is to determine efforts to improve the quality of hospital services using the lean management method. In collecting and synthesizing previous information, this study uses a systematic library research search approach using the PRISMA method. Searches were performed on the Google Scholar and PubMed databases. Articles are limited from 2018-2023, in hospital services and using the Lean Management method. Based on the search results found 1202 articles with 8 copies. From the results of the screening of articles over the last 5 years, 48 ??research titles and abstracts were obtained, then a screening was carried out on the completeness of the selected articles and studies that carried out the process of improving service quality from the results of the Lean Management approach. Efforts to improve quality using the Lean Management method are focused on increasing Value Added activities by reducing Non Value Added activities. Lean Management is considered effective in efforts to improve quality by maximizing existing resources. Through a number of studies obtained, hospitals that implement Lean Management benefit by identifying sources of waste. So that it can be input for the Hospital to focus on efforts to improve these units by reducing waste and increasing VAR (Value Added Ratio), so as to create quality services that meet patient expectations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and assess the impact of fan loyalty and price perceptions on the decision to purchase GMMTV souvenirs, with product placement serving as a moderating variable. The subjects of this study were Jabodetabek fans who had purchased souvenirs. The sample size in this study was determined using Hair's formula, resulting in a sample size of 120 participants. This study was carried out by delivering questionnaires to 141 respondents. The research hypothesis was tested using SmartPLS 4.0 software and a Partial Least Square (PLS) based Structural Equation Model (SEM). The variables that are examined in this study are fan loyalty, price perceptions, product placement, and purchasing decisions. In this study, data were tested using the Measurement Model Test (Outer Model) and the Structural Model Test (Inner Model). According to the findings, customer purchasing decisions for GMMTV souvenirs are influenced by the variables of fan loyalty, price perception, and product placement individually. The results for each fan loyalty and price perception variable, however, varied when the relationship between fan loyalty and price perception was tested using the mediating variable of product placement. Price perception has a considerable influence on purchase decisions when mediated by the product placement variable, as evidenced by a t-statistic value of 2.006 and a p-value of 0.045. Price perception has a considerable influence on purchase decisions when mediated by the product placement variable, as evidenced by a t-statistic value of 2.006 and a p-value of 0.045. Meanwhile, with a t-statistic of 1.410 and a p-value of 0.159, the fan loyalty variable mediated by product placement on purchase decisions has no effect, and the hypothesis is rejected.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence rice production in Labuhan Batu Regency. The research was conducted in Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra Province. The determination of the research area was carried out purposively with the consideration that the Labuhanbatu Regency area according to BPS data in 2021 experienced a deficit in milled dry unhulled rice production and corn production in Labuhanbatu which was not commensurate with the population growth. The population in this study was all existing sub-districts. in Labuhanbatu Regency there are 9 sub-districts and the method used in sampling is a census and sample selection is taken from 9 sub-districts in Labuhan Batu District. Data analysis in this research uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis (multiple regression) through the Cobb-Douglas function. The results of this research are that in the research the variable Land Area influences rice production because t count > t table (6,184 > 2,010) and the level is significant 0.000 < 0.05. In the research, the Labor variable influences rice production because t count > t table (3.001> 2.010) and the significance level is 0.002 < 0.05. In research, the fertilizer variable influences rice production because t count > t table (5.075 < 2.010) and the significance level is 0.000 < 0.05. In the research, the Seed variable influences rice production because t count > t table (4.341 < 2.010) and the significance level is 0.000 < 0.05. Form a linear regression model from the Cobb-Douglas production function to study the factors that influence rice production. Showing the results of (bx1+bx2+bx3+bx4) = 4,761, meaning that in this study the land area, labor contribution, fertilizer use, and seed use can be projected to see the amount of rice production in Labuhan Batu of 47.61%.

Abstract

The need for a new National Criminal Code is based on philosophical, sociological, and legal considerations, among others: "(1) the view of life, level of awareness, and legal ideals derived from Pancasila and the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution; (2) paying attention to the needs of society and the state towards the development of empirical facts of national criminal law; and (3) paying attention to pre-existing racial and ethnic inequalities." The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the newly passed Criminal Code (KUHP) is able to accommodate the problems of criminal acts that occur in Indonesia in particular and matters related to cross-border criminal acts. The research method used is normative research with a legal approach and conceptual approach. The results of the discussion show that the new Criminal Code is considered not to provide fair law enforcement against perpetrators of criminal acts, especially related to discrimination against minority groups and violence against women. The new Criminal Code is considered not accommodating technological developments and social progress, so it is unable to provide appropriate solutions to technology-related criminal offenses. The new Criminal Code is considered to not provide fair law enforcement against perpetrators of criminal offenses who have high power or position, such as politicians or high-ranking officials. The new Criminal Code is considered not providing the right solution to criminal offenses related to social problems, such as drugs, corruption, and domestic violence.
