Abstract

Discipleship is at the church's heart, the congregation's maturation. Discipleship requires much energy, thought, time, and money, so few like it and can survive. Pentecostal-charismatic discipleship is not severe in teaching because it focuses on the feelings and number of people/churches. The ministers involved are often less qualified in theological education, so the activities carried out in Bible study are more inclined to strengthen the bonds of the congregation through sharing activities and sermons just talking about morals and success in life. Discipleship should focus on who Jesus is, the logician, not on what Jesus did, so it falls to the teaching of the power of words; that is, people can imitate everything Jesus did. This study used a quantitative approach to 258 respondents whose results were that the congregation could not distinguish true and untrue servants of God. False faith in Jesus, like the apostles' faith before Pentecost, is considered the absence of faith. The involvement of pastors and congregations outside Pentecostal-charismatic is urgent to improve the spiritual and social behavior of Pentecostal-charismatic congregations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal contract for Sharia gold pawn financing in an Islamic bank in Denpasar and explain the suitability of theory and practice that occurred in the field after the issuance of the fatwa of the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN MUI) Number 26/DSN-MUI/III/2002 regarding Gold Rahn which was conveyed by the bank in the inauguration of the BSI Gold Pawn Halal Agreement. This study uses a qualitative descriptive-analytical research method in which the primary source is based on direct fieldwork by observing the phenomena that occur and processes in real terms, then analyzing the suitability between theory and practice in depth. This research shows that gold pawning at the Denpasar Indonesian Islamic Bank uses 3 contracts, namely qardh, rahn, and ijarah contracts. The implementation of gold mortgage financing is not fully by Sharia, because it is indicated that the usury in giving ujrah is taken according to the amount received by the customer. In the ijarah ujrah contract, it must be calculated from the estimated value, so that there is a discrepancy between theory and practice that occurs in the field. This documents the context of content analysis which is different from the DSN MUI fatwa No. 26/DSN-MUI/III/2002 concerning Gold Rahn, because, in a qardh contract, there is no addition to profit.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of a Company's Growth Potential on Firm Value, with a specific focus on empirical testing and analyzing the relationship between the variables. The research was carried out at the Indonesia Stock Exchange, concentrating on banking companies as the primary objects of observation. The observation period spanned from 2015 to 2021. In this study, the population consisted of 46 companies, and a sample of 10 companies was selected for detailed examination. The researchers aimed to measure the influence of the Company's Growth Potential, serving as a proxy for the Investment Opportunity Set (IOS), on the firm value of these selected entities. The results of the analysis revealed a significant and positive impact of the Company's Growth Potential on the firm value of the observed banking companies. This finding suggests that higher growth potential positively correlates with increased firm value, indicating that companies with promising investment opportunities tend to have higher market valuations. These findings contribute to the existing literature on corporate finance and provide valuable insights for investors, financial analysts, and decision-makers in the banking sector. The study underscores the importance of considering growth potential as a key indicator when evaluating the firm's value and investment opportunities within the dynamic landscape of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Further research could expand on these findings and explore other factors influencing firm value in different industries or regions.

Abstract

Ibn Rushd is a thinker who contributed many of his works to the development of science, especially in the field of philosophy. However, there is not much research that discusses Ibn Rushd in his psychological studies. Even though Ibn Rushd's interpretation in the field of psychology is written in his work entitled De anima. The purpose of this study is to find out what Ibn Rushd thinks about several scientific studies, especially in the field of psychology. The method used in this research is library research, the data sources in this study are several articles and journals that focus on Ibn Rushd's psychological thinking, and data analysis techniques in this study use the literature study method. The results of this study conclude that Ibn Rushd's thoughts in Islamic psychology explain that in the soul there is a heart, eve, and reason. In the structure of the soul, there is a heart which is the form of interaction between hawa and reason, where it will follow the dominance of one of them. Nafs/soul in its level is divided into three, namely nafs-muthmainnah, nafs-lawwamah, and nafs-anger. The reason according to Ibn Rushd is a place that will accommodate all forms of knowledge through thinking power (external senses), imagination power (internal senses), and intellectual power (ratio power) to know the truth about the nature of God and the universe there are many ways that can be done. One way to do this is through Islamic education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of submerged cage depth on the growth of green lobsters (Panulirus homarus) in Vietnamese-style cultivation on the East Coast of Pangandaran. The submerged cage was intended so that the lobsters are not disturbed by the situation/water quality in the upper layer of the water. The research method used a completely randomized design using 3 submerge cage depth treatments and 4 repetitions with different ones, A (2 meters); B (3.5 meters); and C (5 meters). Lobster maintenance was carried out for 40 days using a submerged cage with a diameter of 80 cm and a height of 90 cm. Each cage contains 10 lobster seeds measuring 40 g. Frequency of feeding 2 times a day. The amount of test feed given was 20% of the lobster weight each day. Measurement of water quality as supporting data was carried out at the beginning and end of the research. Sampling was done every 10 days and the observed parameters were growth rate, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and feed efficiency (FE). Lobster growth performance showed that treatment C (placement of cages at a depth of 5 meters) was the best among the others, as well as the daily growth rate (LPH) of 1.35%, feed conversion ratio (FCR) of 12.8, and feed efficiency ( EP) of 8.6%. The water quality in the submerged cage with a depth of 5 meters was DO 5.22 mg/L, the water temperature was 28 Celsius, pH was 7 and salinity was 34 ppt.

Abstract

The clean water treatment plant at DWTP is carried out with conventional treatment. The conventional water treatment process has an impact on the environment due to the clean water treatment process. Clean water treatment produces GWP and Eutrophication impacts derived from the use of chemicals and electricity. This study aims to analyze the factors causing environmental impacts arising from the clean water treatment process at the PDAM Water Treatment Plant (IPA) and determine policy priorities related to reducing environmental impacts and improving the quality of drinking water treatment at the Water Treatment Plant based on the results of LCA and AHP studies. The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method is a method of assessing the potential environmental impact and evaluating the environmental performance of a process on the product. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) consists of four stages, namely determination of Goal and Scope, Life Cycle Inventory, Life Cycle Impact Assessment, and data interpretation. In research, the scope of LCA used is Gate to Gate, namely in the Coagulation, Flocculation, and Sedimentation process units. From the results of the LCA study, the potential impact of GWP of 12760.76 KgCO2-eq comes from flocculation which produces floc from the addition of chemicals. Meanwhile, the potential impact of eutrophication is 268.55 KgPO4-eq derived from mud generation. The results of the decision in reducing environmental impact at DWTP by optimizing chemicals as a top priority, then the second priority by recycling sludge, and finally making savings and energy alternatives are the last priority. Each respondent's score reached 55%, 23% and 22%. The results of the implementation of the program if implemented can reduce the impact of GWP 20079.17 kg CO2-eq and the impact of eutrophication can be reduced by 201.401 kg PO4-eq.mportant matters discussed in the paper that significantly contribute to the final result of the research may be noted here, but you have to consider, however, the limited space of the abstract.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of food waste in the hotel sector with a focus on reducing the amount of food waste produced. The research method used is a qualitative method with the Miles and Huberman Model approach. Primary data was obtained through in-depth interviews with 22 respondents from FnB hospitality practitioners, experts, customers, and Foodbank institutions, using a purposive sampling technique. The results show that food processing in the hotel sector is carried out efficiently, but there are differences in the number of food waste per customer. Challenges in Food Waste Management (FWM) include unpredictable sales fluctuations, lack of customer awareness, and food wastage. Effective strategies to reduce food waste involve inventory management, employee training, customer education, and collaboration with Foodbank institutions. FWM has significant economic, social, and environmental impacts. FWM has direct links to the three Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 2, SDG 12, and SDG 13) on eradicating hunger, responsible consumption and production, and climate action. Managerial implications for hotels based on these conclusions include implementing an effective monitoring and reporting system related to FWM, collaboration with Food Rescue agencies, and encouraging customer participation through education and incentives. To reduce food waste and support sustainable development goals.
