Abstract

Background: Mothers’ level of health literacy can affect the health status of children and their families. One of the factors that influence health literacy is the role of health workers in providing health services which include customers, communicators, motivators, facilitators, and counselors. Therefore research on the relationship between the role of health workers and maternal health literacy needs to be carried out. Objective: To determine the relationship between the role of health workers and the health literacy of mothers with toddlers aged 2-5 years in Saptosari District, Gunung Kidul Regency. Methods: This study uses a correlational analytic method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was 105 mothers who had toddlers aged 2-5 years in Saptosari District. To describe the role of health workers and the level of maternal literacy, univariate analysis was used, while to identify the relationship between independent and dependent bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test was used. Results: The results showed that the roles of health workers as customers (61%), motivators (54,3%), and facilitators (67,6%) based on mothers’ perceptions were included in the low category. While the role of health workers as communicators (51,4%) and counselors (50,5%) is included in the good category. The majority of respondents (88,6%) have a low level of health literacy. The results of the Chi-Square test showed that the relationship between the independent variables and maternal health literacy was as follows: customer p = 0,532; communicator p = 0,611; motivators p = 0,751; facilitator p = 0,747; and counselor p = 0,233. Conclusion: There was no relationship between the role of health workers and the level of health literacy of mothers with toddlers aged 2-5 years in Saptosari District, Gunung Kidul Regency.ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Tingkat literasi kesehatan yang dimiliki oleh ibu dapat memengaruhi derajat kesehatan anak dan keluarganya. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi literasi kesehatan adalah peran tenaga kesehatan dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang mencakup customer, komunikator, motivator, fasilitator, dan konselor. Penelitian mengenai hubungan peran tenaga kesehatan dengan literasi kesehatan ibu belum pernah ada, sehingga perlu untuk dilakukan.  Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan peran tenaga kesehatan dengan literasi kesehatan ibu dengan anak balita usia 2-5 tahun di Kecamatan Saptosari, Kabupaten Gunung Kidul. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan metode analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2018. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 105 ibu yang memiliki      anak balita usia 2-5 tahun di Kecamatan Saptosari.  Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat  dan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran tenaga kesehatan sebagai customer (61%), motivator (54,3%), dan fasilitator (67,6%) berdasarkan persepsi ibu termasuk dalam kategori kurang baik. Sementara peran tenaga kesehatan sebagai komunikator (51,4%) dan konselor (50,5%) termasuk dalam kategori baik. Mayoritas responden (88,6%) memiliki tingkat literasi kesehatan yang rendah. Hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara variabel bebas dengan literasi kesehatan ibu adalah sebagai berikut:  customer p = 0,532; komunikator p = 0,611; motivator p = 0,751; fasilitator p = 0,747; dan konselor p = 0,233.  Kesimpulan: Tidak ada hubungan antara peran tenaga kesehatan dengan tingkat literasi kesehatan ibu dengan anak balita usia 2-5 tahun di Kecamatan Saptosari, Kabupaten Gunung Kidul.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety affects people across all age groups including children and physical activity has demonstrated a favorable impact on diminishing this mental issue. Research about physical activity and anxiety among school-age children has not been investigated massively in Indonesia. Objective: To investigate the impact of physical activity on anxiety levels in children. Method: This study employs a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-post test approach. The participants in this study consisted of children aged 7-12, who were students in grades 3-5 at SDN Sinduadi Timur, totaling 47 students. The research utilized The Revised Manifest Anxiety Scale questionnaire, self-reported physical activity data, and a response evaluation sheet. The Wilcoxon test was used for data analysis to determine the effect of anxiety before and after the physical activity intervention, specifically through body gymnastic exercises. Result: The results indicate a significant impact of physical activity on anxiety levels. The number of participants experiencing anxiety reduces from 7 (14,89%) to 3 (6,38%). Statistical analysis demonstrates a significant difference in anxiety levels before and after the intervention, with a p value of 0,001. Conclusion: In conclusion, this study underscores the substantial potential of engaging in physical activity to notably reduce anxiety levels in children, emphasizing the importance of promoting physical and mental well-being among this demographic.ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Kecemasan memengaruhi berbagai kelompok usia termasuk anak-anak dan aktivitas fisik telah membuktikan dampak positif dalam mengurangi masalah mental ini. Penelitian tentang aktifitas fisik dan kecemasan pada anak usia sekolah belum banyak dilakukan di Indonesia.  Tujuan: Untuk menyelidiki dampak aktivitas fisik pada tingkat kecemasan pada anak-anak. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pra-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one-group pre-post test. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari anak-anak berusia 7-12 tahun, yang merupakan siswa kelas 3-5 di SDN Sinduadi Timur, dengan total 47 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner The Revised Manifest Anxiety Scale, data aktivitas fisik yang dilaporkan sendiri, dan lembar evaluasi respons. Uji Wilcoxon digunakan untuk analisis data kecemasan sebelum dan setelah intervensi aktivitas fisik, khususnya melalui aktivitas latihan. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan dampak signifikan dari aktivitas fisik pada tingkat kecemasan. Jumlah partisipan yang mengalami kecemasan berkurang dari 7 (14,89%) menjadi 3 (6,38%). Analisis statistik menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan dalam tingkat kecemasan sebelum dan setelah intervensi, dengan nilai p sebesar 0,001. Kesimpulan: Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan potensi besar dari keterlibatan dalam aktivitas fisik untuk secara nyata mengurangi tingkat kecemasan pada anak-anak, dengan menekankan pentingnya mempromosikan kesejahteraan fisik dan mental di pada agregat usia ini.

Abstract

Background: As a health worker, nurses put themselves in high risk since they have been exposed in the front line battle against COVID-19 virus. Nurses suffer from physical exhaustion, psychological or mental fatigue, and even excessive stress due to heavy workload. Objective: To find out the impact of covid toward nurses’ psychological aspect. Method: The literature review was carried out using the PRISMA flow diagram. Sciencedirect, Willey Online and EBSCO were used as the journal database. The keywords of the PICO framework were Nurse AND Psychological AND Impact of COVID-19. Inclusion criteria included focus on the COVID-19 pandemic, publications in the last 3 years, written in English, and original research. The exclusion criteria was literature review type of article. Result: As the result, there were 9075 articles consisted of 1751 articles from Sciencedirect database, 3871 articles from Willey Online, 3453 articles from EBSCO, and 5 articles from handsearching. After inclusion and exclusion criterias were applied, there were 16 articles left to be analyzed. These articles discussed the psychological impact on nurses who were facing the COVID-19 pandemic, such as insomnia, sadness, fear, anxiety, depression, stress, suicidal ideation, depersonalization, and PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). Conclusion: The COVID-19 pandemic have impacted nurses in carrying out their duties in health services, hence it needs serious attention to their psychological condition. ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Sebagai tenaga kesehatan, perawat menempatkan dirinya pada risiko tinggi karena mereka merupakan garda terdepan dalam melawan virus COVID-19. Perawat mengalami kelelahan fisik, kelelahan psikologis/mental, bahkan stres yang berlebihan karena tingginya beban kerja selama pandemi COVID-19. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui dampak COVID-19 terhadap aspek psikologis perawat. Metode: Tinjauan literatur dilakukan menggunakan alur diagram PRISMA dan database jurnal yang digunakan meliputi Sciencedirect, Willey Online, dan EBSCO. Kata kunci dari kerangka kerja PICO, yaitu Nurse AND Pscyhological AND Impact of COVID-19. Kriteria inklusi meliputi fokus pada pandemi COVID-19, publikasi 3 tahun terakhir, berbahasa Inggris, penelitian asli/original article. Kriteria eksklusinya adalah penelitian artikel jenis review.  Hasil: Hasil pencarian literatur didapatkan 9075 artikel dengan pencarian database Science Direct 1751 artikel, Willey Online 3871 artikel, EBSCO 3453 artikel dan handsearching 5 artikel. Artikel diskrining sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi sehingga didapatkan 16 artikel utama yang dianalisis. Dampak psikologis yang dirasakan perawat saat menghadapi pandemi COVID-19, meliputi insomnia, kesedihan, ketakutan, kecemasan, depresi, stres, ide bunuh diri, depersonalisasi, dan gangguan stres pascatrauma (post-traumatic stress disorder atau PTSD). Simpulan: Pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada perawat dalam menjalankan tugasnya di pelayanan kesehatan sehingga perlu perhatian serius terhadap kondisi psikologis petugas kesehatan.

Abstract

Background: Pressure sores are a health problem that has an impact on health conditions, length of hospitalization, growing treatment costs, and more fatally result as in death. Therefore, pressure sores management is needed to prevent and minimize their impact. Unfortunately, there are only small number of literature reviews about pressure sores management on bed rest patients. Objective: To determine research about the management of pressure sores in bed rest patients Method: Literature review was carried out using PRISMA flowcharts with journal databases such as Sciencedirect, Willey Online, and EBSCO. The keywords of the PICO framework were Bed rest patient AND management decubitus OR pressure sores OR pressure ulcers AND minimize decubitus. Inclusion criterias included focus on prevention and treatment of pressure sores, publication of the last 10 years, open access, English, and original research. As for the exclusion criteria was review article type research. Result: There were 3674 articles obtained by searching three databases: PubMed, Sciencedirect, and ProQuest plus handsearch. It was found that  pressure sores management focused on prevention and treatment. Pressure sores prevention were using techniques such as using mattresses, carrying out periodic repositioning, carrying out skin care, and using bandages or pads. On the other hand, pressure sores treatment were using Cathodal and Cathodal-Anodal High Voltage Monophasic Pulses, and using honey or other preparations such as Thai Herbal Oil (THO). Conclusion: Management of pressure sores in bed rest patients varies but generally focuses on two main goals, namely preventing and healing pressure sores.ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Luka tekan merupakan suatu masalah kesehatan yang berdampak pada kondisi kesehatan, lama rawat inap, peningkatan biaya perawatan, dan yang lebih fatal adalah mengakibatkan kematian. Oleh karena itu, manajemen luka tekan diperlukan untuk mencegah dan meminimalkan dampak dari luka tekan. Namun, studi pustaka terkait hal ini pada pasien tirah baring masih jarang dilakukan.  Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui penelitian tentang manajemen luka tekan pada pasien tirah baring. Metode: Tinjauan literatur dilakukan menggunakan alur diagram PRISMA. Database jurnal yang digunakan meliputi Sciencedirect, Willey Online, dan EBSCO. Kata kunci dari kerangka kerja PICO, yaitu Bed rest patients AND management decubitus OR pressure sores OR pressure ulcer AND minimize decubitus. Kriteria inklusi meliputi artikel yang berfokus pada pencegahan dan penanganan luka dekubitus, publikasi 10 tahun terakhir, open access, berbahasa Inggris, dan penelitian original. Sementara, kriteria eksklusinya adalah penelitian artikel jenis review. Hasil: Hasil pencarian literatur didapatkan 3674 artikel pada pencarian tiga database, yaitu PubMed, Sciencedirect, dan ProQuest ditambah handsearching (pencarian secara manual). Dalam artikel-artikel tersebut disimpulkan bahwa manajemen luka tekan berfokus pada pencegahan dan perawatan luka. Pada fokus pencegahan digunakan teknik penggunaan matras, reposisi berkala, perawatan kulit, dan penggunaan balutan atau bantalan. Sedangkan fokus pada perawatan luka tekan dapat dilakukan dengan penggunaan Katodal dan Katodal-Anodal Pulsa Monofasik tegangan tinggi, dan menggunakan madu atau sediaan Thai Herbal Oil (THO). Simpulan: Manajemen luka tekan pada pasien tirah baring cukup bervariasi. Namun, secara umum berfokus pada dua tujuan utama, yaitu mencegah atau menyembuhkan luka tekan.Kata kunci: luka tekan; manajemen; pasien tirah baring

Abstract

Background: Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death in women after cervical cancer. One of the most feared symptoms by cancer patients is pain. Cancer patients have used guided imagery relaxation techniques for several years, and it has been proven that they can help reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, such as nausea, vomiting, pain, anxiety, and depression.Objective: To analyze the application of guided imagery therapy to reduce acute pain in Mrs.S with Ca Mammae in the Upper Melati Room, RSD dr. Soebandi.Case report: Mrs. S, 46 years old, is being treated in the Melati Room at RSD dr. Soebandi Jember with a medical diagnosis of Ca Mammae. When he came to RSD dr. Soebandi Jember patient complained of pain with a scale of 5 with a dull ache in the left breast. Patients were given the main intervention of Guided Imagery therapy for 3 days of treatment to reduce pain.Outcome: The patient said that on the first day of the intervention, the pain felt intermittent and it was difficult to sleep. Then after being given guided imagery therapy, the pain felt reduced.Conclusion: Guided imagery therapy can be applied to breast cancer patients where it can help reduce pain due to breast cancer felt by patients so that it will help in patient health care

Abstract

Background: Diabetes is often associated with complications in the lower extremities, including diabetic foot ulcer (DFU). One of the risks associated with DFU is amputation. Previous studies have found a high risk of amputation in DFU cases. Prior research also indicates that fear affects the effectiveness of therapy and the quality of life of DFU patients.Objective: To describe the fear of amputation in patients with DFU at Dr. Sardjito Hospital.Method: Descriptive study used quantitative approach involving 84 participants from January to April 2022 at Dr. Sardjito Hospital. Sampling was done by total sampling through cross-sectional method. The instrument used was the Fear Scale Measurement (FSM) with a scale of 1-10. The higher FSM scores indicated the higher level of fear. Fear was analyzed univariately (frequency, percentage, and mean). Kruskal Wallis Test was used to observe the description of fear based on respondent’s characteristics.Results: Overall, the average level of fear based on FSM was at level 4 (severe anxiety). Around 30,9% were at level 1 (calmness), and 16,7% were at level 3 (moderate anxiety). The smallest percentage, which was 3,6% of the respondents, experienced fear level 8 (severe fear) and level 10 (panic). It was also found that respondents without a history of amputation experienced significantly higher levels of fear. Conclusion: This study described how the morbid fear of patients with DFU in Dr. Sardjito Hospital varies. Most of the respondents are at the level of calmness to moderate anxiety with an average fear of FSM level 4 (severe anxiety). Respondents without a history of amputation experience significantly higher levels of fear.INTISARILatar belakang: Diabetes sering dikaitkan dengan komplikasi ekstremitas bawah, termasuk diabetic foot ulcer (DFU). Salah satu risiko akibat DFU adalah amputasi. Studi sebelumnya menemukan risiko amputasi pada DFU masih tinggi. Hasil penelitian sebelumnya juga menemukan ketakutan memengaruhi efektivitas terapi dan kualitas hidup penderita DFU.Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran rasa takut terhadap amputasi pada pasien DFU di RSUP Dr. Sardjito.Metode: Penelitian deskriptif ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan 84 responden, dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-April 2022 di RS Dr. Sardjito. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling secara cross-sectional. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Fear Scale Measurement (FSM) dengan skala 1-10. Semakin tinggi score FSM menunjukkan peningkatan level rasa takut. Rasa takut dianalisis secara univariat (frekuensi, persentase, dan mean). Uji Kruskal Wallis digunakan untuk melihat gambaran rasa takut berdasarkan karakteristik responden. Hasil: Secara keseluruhan, rata-rata level rasa takut responden menurut skor FSM adalah level 4 (severe anxiety).  Sebanyak 30,9% responden mencapai level 1 (calmness) dan sebesar 16,7% berada di level 3 (moderate anxiety). Jumlah paling sedikit, sebanyak 3,6% responden mengalami rasa takut level 8 (severe fear) dan level 10 (panic). Selain itu, didapatkan hasil bahwa responden tanpa riwayat amputasi, mengalami level takut yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan.Simpulan: Penelitian ini menggambarkan bagaimana ketakutan pasien DFU di RSUD Dr. Sardjito. Sebagian besar responden berada pada tingkat calmness hingga moderate anxiety dengan rata-rata ketakutan FSM level 4 (severe anxiety). Responden tanpa riwayat amputasi mengalami level takut yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan.

Abstract

Background: Children sexual abuse still occurs today. In 2022, Commission on Violence Against Women and Children Gunungkidul Regency recorded 7 sexual abuse cases and 4 of them occurred in Wonosari. During pandemic, Wonosari citizen have never received any education related to children sexual abuse prevention. Therefore, they need education to improve their perception. Objective: To determine the effect of education with focus group discussion method toward public perception of sexual abuse prevention among children in Wonosari. Method: This was a pre-experiment study with one group pretest-post test design. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling from 30 sample respondents. The data was collected using public perception questionnaires and analyzed using Wilcoxon tank test. Result: The median value of public perception before education was 50 (min-max:43-59), while after education was 64 (min-max: 53-68). The Wilcoxon rank test showed p value of 0,000. Conclusion: There is an effect of education with focus group discussion method toward public perceptions of sexual abuse prevention among children in Wonosari.ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Kekerasan seksual pada anak menjadi fenomena yang masih terjadi sampai saat ini. Data Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Gunungkidul pada tahun 2022 mencatat adanya 7 kasus kekerasan seksual dan 4 di antaranya terjadi di Wonosari. Masyarakat Wonosari belum pernah mendapatkan edukasi tentang pencegahan kekerasan seksual selama pandemi. Oleh karena itu, masyarakat perlu diberi edukasi agar dapat meningkatkan persepsi positif masyarakat mengenai pencegahan kekerasan seksual pada anak. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh edukasi dengan metode focus group discussion terhadap persepsi masyarakat tentang pencegahan kekerasan seksual pada anak di Wonosari.  Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pre experimental design dengan rancangan penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Teknik sampling menggunakan stratified random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 30 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner persepsi masyarakat dan analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon rank test. Hasil: Persepsi masyarakat sebelum edukasi memiliki nilai median = 50 (min-max: 43-59) dan persepsi masyarakat sesudah edukasi memiliki nilai median = 64 (min-max: 53-68). Hasil analisis data dengan uji Wilcoxon rank test diperoleh nilai p value 0,000. Simpulan: Ada pengaruh pemberian edukasi dengan metode focus group discussion terhadap persepsi masyarakat tentang pencegahan kekerasan seksual pada anak di Wonosari.

Abstract

Background: Training of trainer (TOT) has its own challenges due to the characteristics of the participants, who are professionals with higher experience and knowledge. This condition is even more challenging when conducting online. Thus, it is necessary to choose a andragogy learning method that can improve learning experience without reducing learning quality. Objective: To evaluate the implementation of online TOT and scrutinize an online learning method that can be applied towards experienced and knowledgeable participants.Method: This was cross sectional design research which was conducted from June to July 2023. A total of 50 people participated in this training for four days and the training was delivered through one-way lecture, problem discussion, and coaching. The training evaluation included training delivery evaluation, knowledge aspect evaluation, and practical teaching evaluation/micro teaching. Data was collected using Google Forms which consisted of closed and open questions, pre-and post-test, and teaching practice observation. Data was analyzed using univariate analysis and Wilcoxon test Results: Most of the respondents (58%) have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing as their educational background and have work experience for more than 10 years. A total of 43 respondents (86%) work in hospitals. There were problems during online training, such as: internet instability and lack of time management. Most respondents (96%) were very satisfied and satisfied with the training. Coaching became the method chosen by most of the respondents that can facilitate constructive feedback and interaction among the trainees and facilitators. There was significant difference (p = 0,000) between pre-test and post-test score. Participant’s scores for micro teaching practical test score were 89,42 in average.Conclusion: Coaching is a recommended method that can be used as an online learning method for training with more experienced and knowledgeable participants.INTISARILatar belakang: Pelaksanaan training of trainer (TOT) memiliki tantangan tersendiri karena karakteristik peserta merupakan individu yang telah berpengalaman dan memiliki pengetahuan lebih lanjut. Tantangan tersebut bertambah ketika pelaksanaan dilakukan secara daring. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode pembelajaran orang dewasa yang dapat memfasilitasi pengalaman belajar secara optimal tanpa mengurangi kualitas pembelajaran.Tujuan: Mengevaluasi pelaksanaan TOT daring dan mendiskusikan metode pembelajaran daring yang memiliki potensi untuk diterapkan pada peserta pelatihan yang sudah berpengalaman dan memiliki pengetahuan lebih lanjut.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross sectional yang dilaksanakan bulan Juni – Juli 2023. Kegiatan TOT diselenggarakan pada 50 orang peserta, secara daring selama 4 hari dengan metode ceramah, diskusi tanya jawab, dan coaching. Evaluasi pelaksanaan TOT meliputi: evaluasi penyelenggara pelatihan, evaluasi pengetahuan, dan evaluasi pengalaman mengajar (penilaian micro teaching) peserta. Data dikumpulkan melalui Google Form yang berisi pertanyaan terbuka dan tertutup, pretest dan posttest, serta observasi praktik mengajar. Analisis data menggunakan univariat dan uji Wilcoxon.Hasil: Sebagian besar peserta (58%) adalah sarjana keperawatan dengan pengalaman kerja lebih dari 10 tahun. Terdapat 43 peserta (86%) yang bekerja di rumah sakit. Sebanyak 48 peserta (96%) merasa puas dan sangat puas terhadap penyelenggaraan TOT. Kendala selama pelatihan daring adalah sinyal internet tidak stabil dan kelemahan manajemen waktu. Metode coaching adalah metode yang paling berkesan karena memfasilitasi proses pemberian umpan balik dan interaksi antara peserta dan peserta lainnya, serta peserta dan fasilitator. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan (p = 0,000) terhadap nilai pretest dan posttest pengetahuan peserta. Rata-rata skor praktik mengajar (microteaching) peserta adalah 89,42.Simpulan: Metode coaching merupakan metode yang direkomendasikan untuk digunakan pada pelatihan daring dengan peserta yang memiliki kemampuan lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman peserta.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a kind of chronic disease. In Indonesia, the prevalency of people with hypertension rises from 25.8% to 34.11% in 2018. It is estimated that in 2025 there will be 1.5 billion people with hypertension. Moreover, around 10.44 million people will die each year due to hypertension and its complications. Objective: To analyze the correlation between self management behavior and the control of blood pressure level in patient with hypertension. Method: This study used correlation analytic quantitative method with cross sectional descriptive approach. The number of samples used was 132 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection used the Hypertension Self Management Behavior Questionnaire (HSMBQ) and data analysis used the Spearman’s Rho test. Results: The results showed that there was a negative significant correlation between Self Management Behavior and Systolic Blood Pressure Control with correlation coefficient of -0.600 (p value 0.000). As for the results of the Spearman’s rho correlation test, it was found that there was a significant correlation between Self Management Behavior and Diastolic Blood Pressure Control with correlation coefficient of -0.452 (p value 0.000).  Conclusion: There is significant negative correlation between self management behavior and the control of blood pressure level in patient with hypertension systolic and diastolic blood pressure. The higher self management behaviour, the lower or more controlled the systolic and diastolic blood pressure values, and vice versa.ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Hipertensi merupakan salah satu jenis penyakit kronis. Di Indonesia, prevalensi penderita hipertensi meningkat dari 25,8% menjadi 34,11% pada tahun 2018. Diperkirakan pada tahun 2025 terdapat 1,5 miliar penderita hipertensi. Lebih jauh lagi, sekitar 10,44 juta orang akan meninggal setiap tahunnya akibat hipertensi dan komplikasinya. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan antara self management behaviour terhadap tingkat pengendalian tekanan darah pasien hipertensi. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif analitik korelasi menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif cross sectional. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan 132 pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar kuesioner Hypertension Self Management Behavior Questionnaire (HSMBQ) dan lembar observasi tekanan darah. Adapun tekanan darah pasien diukur menggunakan alat tensimeter dengan analisis data menggunakan uji Spearman’s Rho. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien korelasi -0,600 dengan p value 0,000 antara self management behaviour dengan tingkat pengendalian tekanan darah sistolik. Adapun hasil uji korelasi  Self Management Behaviour dengan tingkat pengendalian tekanan darah diastolik diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi -0,452 dengan p value 0,000.  Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan negatif dan signifikan antara self management behaviour dengan tingkat pengendalian tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik. Semakin tinggi self management behaviour, maka semakin rendah atau terkontrol nilai tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik, begitu pula sebaliknya.

Abstract

Background: Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is the leading cause of death worldwide. OHCA can occur in any settings such as in school. Basic life support (BLS) is an intervention to get the greatest chance of OHCA survival outcomes. Teachers are expected to have a role to provide BLS at the scene of medical emergency. The success of BLS outcome is influenced by knowledge and attitudes toward BLS.Objective: To assess knowledge and attitude towards basic life support among senior high school teachers in Sleman DIY.Method: Cross sectional design was used in this descriptive study. This study was conducted from February-March 2022. A total of 103 senior high school teachers in Sleman were participated and selected using cluster random sampling, simple random sampling, and consecutive sampling. Data were collected using Public Knowledge and Attitude towards BLS questionnaire. Data were analyzed using univariat to analyze respondents characteristic, knowledge, and attitude towards BLS.Results: The result of the study showed that 64 respondents (62,1%) had good BLS knowledge, especially on the questionnaire item which mentioned the first thing to do when there is someone collapse. The highest responses were found toward two questionnaire items, i.e.: BLS training is important in every workplace (70,9%) and general community should receive BLS training (81,6%). Conclusion: Most of high school teachers in Sleman have good level of BLS knowledge. The attitude towards BLS is shown as that they are aware that BLS training is important for general community and in every workplace and they are willing to receive BLS training.INTISARILatar belakang: Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) menjadi penyebab utama kematian di seluruh dunia. Bantuan hidup dasar (BHD) merupakan tindakan yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesempatan hidup pada korban henti jantung. Guru sebagai tenaga pendidik, diharapkan dapat memiliki peran dan keterampilan dalam penanganan kasus kegawatdaruratan. Keberhasilan tindakan BHD dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan dan sikap tentang BHD.Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan dan sikap tentang BHD pada guru SMA di Sleman, DIY.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari-Maret 2022. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 103 orang yang terdiri dari guru Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kabupaten Sleman yang pengambilan sampelnya dengan teknik cluster sampling, simple random sampling, dan consecutive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner Public Knowledge and Attitude towards BLS. Analisis univariat digunakan untuk menganalisis data karakteristik responden, gambaran pengetahuan BHD, dan gambaran sikap terhadap BHD.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 62,1% guru memiliki pengetahuan BHD yang baik, terutama pada pernyataan mengenai tindakan pertama yang harus dilakukan ketika melihat seseorang dalam keadaan tidak sadar. Sebagian besar responden memiliki sikap sadar bahwa pelatihan BHD penting dilakukan di segala jenis pekerjaan (70,9%) dan masyarakat umum berhak mendapatkan pelatihan BHD (81,6%). Simpulan: Sebagian besar guru SMA di Sleman memiliki pengetahuan BHD yang baik. Sebagian besar guru SMA menunjukkan sikap sadar akan pentingnya memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan BHD pada masyarakat umum di bidang pekerjaan apa pun, serta memiliki keinginan yang tinggi untuk mengikuti pelatihan BHD.
