Abstract

The community service partners in this activity are Usaha Mikro Kecil dan menengah (UMKM) operating in the food sector, handicrafts to tourism managers in Pandanmulyo Village, Tajinan District, Malang Regency. Currently, UMKM, only market their products and promote tourist destinations in a limited environment, such as through the Pandanmulyo Village website and through word of mouth, so the information is not widely disseminated. Therefore, these UMKM require training on the importance of utilizing digital marketing so that their marketing system can be improved and can reach more target markets and support a better increase in sales. In addition, UMKM were given training in creating Instagram and Shopee accounts, as well as guidance on managing these platforms efficiently. Based on the results of this activity, it is recommended to continue the use of digital marketing strategies and provide regular mentoring so that the marketing and sales of UMKM products and tourism promotion can be improved effectively and optimally.

Abstract

Entering the rainy season in some areas of Karangbanjar Village, Bojongsari District, Purbalingga Regency which has steep slopes, it will potentially experience landslides. This phenomenon continues to be socialized to residents of vulnerable areas, at the beginning of the rainy season through field counseling by gathering several residents at meetings in villages to reduce risks and losses in the event of a landslide. This activity is carried out through the geological study of the area of socialization, field observations and counseling to residents. Factors causing landslides that were socialized to residents include slopes around settlements, constituent rocks, thickness of soil, rainfall and land use that can cause landslides. Abstract

PT. Jaya Graha Utama (PT. JGU) intends to rehabilitate the Crocodile Attack Railing Stage (CARS) at Bali Safari Marine Park (BSMP). Still, a reference has yet to be used to carry out this action. PT. JGU applied to the Faculty of Science and Technology, Ngurah Rai University (FST UNR) to conduct a structural studies and an FST UNR Community Service Team (CSFST) was formed with PT. JGU becomes a partner. CAFST activities are carried out using the Science and Technology Diffusion Method, from the survey stage to structural analysis. Concrete quality is determined by hammer test, reinforcement formation using the scanning rebar locator and structural analysis using SAP2000. The study's results recommend that the stage floor plate be replaced with a thickness of 10cm, the beam height dimensions be increased by 10cm to 15x40cm, 25x45cm, the addition of a 35cm diameter column at the base of the stage, and other columns remain. The study results and recommendations are compiled in books and files. The study results documents are very important in carrying out CARS rehabilitation measures at BSMP.

Abstract

Artikel Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini mengeksplorasi pembinaan kultur organisasi yang berorientasi pada keseimbangan kerja-hidup untuk meningkatkan kepuasan dan retensi karyawan. Melalui studi kasus pada beberapa perusahaan mitra, kami menemukan bahwa investasi dalam kultur organisasi yang seimbang secara signifikan meningkatkan kepuasan karyawan dan memperpanjang tingkat retensi. Kegiatan ini melibatkan pendekatan kolaboratif dengan mitra untuk mengidentifikasi dan menerapkan strategi dan praktik yang mendukung keseimbangan kerja-hidup. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan kesejahteraan karyawan serta kinerja organisasi secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan strategi pengembangan branding lokal melalui pemasaran berbasis komunitas untuk memajukan sektor pariwisata dan mempromosikan produk unggulan di tingkat daerah. Dengan studi literatur dan analisis data, artikel ini menyoroti kompleksitas dan relevansi branding lokal dalam meningkatkan citra produk dan destinasi pariwisata daerah. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemasaran yang melibatkan komunitas efektif dalam mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam promosi produk lokal dan daya tarik wisata setempat. Melalui keterlibatan langsung dengan komunitas, brand lokal dapat meningkatkan kesadaran, penghargaan, dan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk penduduk lokal dan wisatawan. Kolaborasi antara industri, pemerintah daerah, dan masyarakat kunci dalam menerapkan strategi branding yang berkelanjutan, yang pada akhirnya berdampak positif pada pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal dan pembangunan komunitas.

Abstract

Every organization needs effective communication in carrying out the organization's vision and mission. The purpose of this training is increase participants' understanding of effective communication in organizations. The training was held at the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Student Association at Mulawarman University with 37 participants. The data collection process to identify problems is interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The method used is experiential learning based on direct experience and oriented towards participants using lecture methods, question and answer sessions, ice breaking, and FGD. Based on the training results, the post-test score was 16.2% greater than the pretest score. Supported by the results of t test calculations in SPSS software, it is known that Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05 and there is a significant difference between before and after the training given to participants. The conclusion is that there is an increase in understanding of effective communication among the training participants.

Abstract

This service community is based on the many problems faced by today's young generation which are influenced by globalization. In this case, the process of educating the value of good citizenship is important so that the younger generation avoids the negative impacts of globalization. The good citizen values ​​intended in this service community focus on three important things, namely good intelligence, good responsibility and good attitude.These three things will encourage the formation of a young generation who can support the creation of better democracy and national integration in Indonesia. This also supports community participation in the state administration process by working together and respecting each other.This activity was carried out in November 2023 by providing outreach using socialization and education methods, questions and answers and discussions related to instilling the values ​​of good citizenship which have an influence on the formation of a better democracy in Indonesia. After participating in the activity, students became more aware of equal rights and guarantees of justice for every citizen by prioritizing multiculturalism, as well as factors inhibiting good citizenship which have an impact on social inequality and nation development.

Abstract

Literasi keuangan yang rendah menjadi masalah sosial yang perlu ditangani dengan solusi inovatif. Penggunaan aplikasi mobile dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di ITB Stikom Bali pada November 2023 memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman keuangan masyarakat. Melalui aplikasi ini, informasi keuangan menjadi lebih mudah diakses, sementara konten edukasi yang interaktif meningkatkan minat belajar. Fitur kalkulator investasi, pelacak pengeluaran, dan notifikasi pasar keuangan juga mendukung praktik keuangan yang bijaksana. Meskipun demikian, tantangan keamanan data dan aksesibilitas perlu terus diatasi. Kolaborasi antara lembaga keuangan, pemerintah, dan penyedia teknologi menjadi kunci untuk memaksimalkan dampak positif aplikasi mobile dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Conservation of Palembang Songket woven cloth is carried out at SMBII Museum. The thread fibers woven into Songket cloth are small in size and require a microscope to see the thread fibers clearly before determining the appropriate conservation mechanism for fabric damage. Community service activities are carried out by assisting in the use of digital microscopes in the conservation of Songket cloth collections. A digital microscope is used to magnify the appearance of the gold thread fibers of the Songket cloth, whether there is damage or not. The activity began with setting up a digital microscope device to be used in the study of Songket cloth conservation and continued with assistance in using the microscope by participants. The results of the assistance show that users can easily use digital microscope devices to display Songket fabric fibers that are damaged and require conservation. Hopefully, this community service will make it easier for the SMBII museum to carry out conservation and learning tasks at the museum and have an impact on ensuring the resilience of the Palembang Songket cloth cultural heritage in the digital era.

Abstract

Today's village is a subject of development that has legitimacy in managing its own government affairs that are tailored to the potential and characteristics of the village. In line with this, an understanding of the vision related to village development is needed to realize independent villages. However, the realization of independent villages still encounters several crucial obstacles, such as the quality of human resources, organizational management and utilization of natural resources that are still minimal to the existence of corruption in the village sector. For this reason, a legal counseling activity related to corruption education for village governments is needed. This service activity was carried out in Sumenep Regency involving 330 village heads. The method used in this service activity is to use the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method. The purpose of this activity is to provide understanding and as one aspect of strengthening the prevention of potential corruption in the village sector. This activity was carried out for 3 (three) days, which was carried out using the method of discussion and socialization about the types of corruption crimes and the potential for corruption in the village. The result of this activity is an increase in community participation together with village officials to suppress corruption through a "zero tolerance" commitment to corruption and the desire of the Village Head to create a code of ethics and standardization of leadership with integrity through the Anticorruption Village initiative.
