Abstract

River water quality is getting worse due to lack of public awareness about the importance of river water quality. Efforts that can be made to increase public awareness are through law enforcement. This is done to instill a basic foundation in preserving the environment, and refers to the implementation of Government Regulation Number. 38/2011 which regulates rivers. Awareness raising is done by socialization method to the community about the existence of the government regulation. The area used as a socialization study is the community of Sumber Brantas Village, Batu, which is located near the upstream of the Brantas River. Some of these communities are not aware of the existence of government regulations governing rivers. In addition, there is a laij problem, namely the existence of environmentally unfriendly waste. So to realize the environment around river resources, there needs to be cooperation between various parties, including the community, government, and industry players. Cooperation is carried out to build a foundation in implementing the applicable law. In addition, synergy is also needed in providing sustainable solutions to problems faced around the river area.

Abstract

Indonesia is a multicultural country that has diversity including various religions, cultures, languages, and ethnicities. Apart from being a wealth of diversity, Indonesia has the potential to give rise to conflict caused by extremism and radicalism. Therefore, it is important to introduce religious moderation to society starting from children. Religious moderation is defined as a stage of understanding and practicing in a balanced and fair manner all religious teachings to avoid extreme behavior. Instilling an attitude of religious moderation in children needs to consider the child's happiness so that the goal of instilling religious moderation can be conveyed well, one of which is through the storytelling method. Abstract

Adolescents who are involved in criminal activities and are required to serve time in juvenile correctional institutions may experience negative changes in their views of themselves. Limited opportunities to develop and adapt like individuals in general can cause teenagers serving prison terms to feel marginalized by their surrounding environment, resulting in the formation of a self-concept that tends to be negative. Reality group counseling with the WDEP approach (Want, Doing and Direction, Self Evaluation, Planning) system can be used as an alternative to foster a positive self-concept, namely by providing understanding to individuals so that individuals are able to assess themselves positively. The result of reality group counseling is that participants gain insight into forming a positive self-concept that can be developed in their lives as inmates at LPKA in Kupang City. The achievement of the objectives of this activity can be seen in the participants' ability to use a practical counseling approach and change their self-concept perspective in a more positive direction. Selling price decisions that are often inappropriate by MSME business actors are caused by their tendency to set selling prices without considering correct calculations and accounting principles, but relying more on their estimates. The purpose of this service activity is to increase the understanding of MSME actors about the calculation of Cost of Goods Produced (COGS) to determine selling prices more precisely. The method used in this activity is through training and direct assistance to business actors to calculate the cost of goods produced by their business and determine the selling price of their products. The evaluation results show an increase in understanding and skills of Culinary MSME actors in Bengkong Sadai Village, Batam City after the implementation of this activity, as seen from the way they now calculate the cost of goods produced before setting the selling price of their products.
