Abstract

Banyuasin is the largest coconut producing area in South Sumatra, but the coconut waste has not been utilized properly by the community. The introduction of liquid as soon as possible to the Sabolio farmer group aims to provide education to the public regarding alternatives to processing coconut shell waste into tofu preservatives which will have a sale value in the community. This counseling was carried out based on a questionnaire that had been given to the public regarding the use of food preservatives, especially tofu. So far, people only use natural preservatives in the form of salt which only lasts a short time without using a refrigerator. Therefore, a natural preservative product is produced to be able to extend the shelf life of tofu outdoors. Visits in community service were carried out three times attended by 22 peoples, the majority of which were attended by mothers.

Abstract

Digital technology-based marketing is also an opportunity for businesses to develop. Thus, there is a need for socialization regarding the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Digital Marketing. The implementation methods are socialization activities, tutorials, discussions, field practices and evaluations. In culinary support at the Sumber Banteng Tourism location, this service activity involved 9 business people around the Sumber Banteng Tourism. The result of this dedication is that it can be seen that the participants have not maximized their business and social media for marketing their business. Through these results, it is very important to carry out assistance so that they can implement the material provided and innovate developments in information technology.

Abstract

The emergence of public anxiety about new sources of income is the basis for implementing community service activities. This is due to the instability of the commodity prices of oil palm and rubber, which are the main incomes of the people of Tanjung Medan village. Various efforts to increase financial literacy have been carried out in various villages to increase community income sources as the spearhead of regional development. However, in Tanjung Medan Village there has never been a similar activity carried out and there are no MSMEs that have been established in the village. For this reason, financial literacy training activities were carried out in Tanjung Medan village. This activity aims to provide training for MSMEs to improve people's financial literacy through socialization and hands-on practical training. MSME training to improve financial literacy has proven to be applicable to rural communities. Training activities have been proven to stimulate public interest in forming MSMEs as the basis for increasing financial literacy in the form of new financial sources for the community. The implementation of the activity succeeded in providing new soft skills and hard skills for training participants. The results of the implementation of the activity provide new knowledge and the ability of participants in preparing and submitting a complete MSME formation. This activity also succeeded in providing new skills for the community, especially in making craft products made from rattan as well as various cakes and snacks.

Abstract

Village development can be achieved if it is balanced with an increase in the quality of human resources for village officials who are qualified and visionary. One of the villages in Bondowoso Regency, namely Pakisan Village, Tlogosari District, has the potential for natural and economic resources that have not been managed properly so that the village is not yet advanced and independent. One of the obstacles that has made Pakisan Village, Tlogosari Subdistrict, not yet advanced and independent is the not yet optimal village development planning system built by village officials. This causes natural and economic potential not to be managed properly. One of the things that is done to realize village development planning is the quality of human resources for village officials who must have a professional and visionary attitude. In reality, there are still many village governments that still have low professionalism and a lack of innovation and creativity. So that the management of village potential is still not optimal. Village potential in Pakisan Village, Tlogosari District, Bondowoso Regency is the strength and capability of the village which can provide benefits if managed properly to improve the welfare of the local community. Support for developing and increasing the capacity of village officials in government management in Pakisan Village, Tlogosari District, Bondowoso Regency also comes from universities, in this case the University of Jember, especially the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M). One form of this support is to provide assistance and hold training and discussions as a means to increase the capacity of village apparatus in Pakisan Village, Tlogosari District, Bondowoso Regency who are professional, creative and innovative.

Abstract

Limbangan Village is located at the Wanareja District, Cilacap Regency, Central Java. It is one of the areas prone to flash floods. Based on data, flash floods were recorded on 27 October 2021 which were caused by the overflow of the Cigeugeumeuh River and resulted in hundreds of houses and markets being damaged. Therefore, to reduce losses due to disasters that occur, especially flash floods in Limbangan Village, mitigation efforts are carried out in the form of socialization of community-based management of flash floods. Efforts to carry out community-based flood management in Cilacap Regency, were carried out through collaboration between the Public Works Polytechnic and Limbangan Village. The socialization of flood management in Limbangan Village uses concept of participatory rural community social approach or Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). At the end, community service activities in Cilacap Regency by the Public Works Polytechnic, Semarang have been successfully held. The results achieved in the implementation of this community service are the provision of information on rainfall that has the potential to cause flash floods, the learning process of disaster mitigation as a preparedness measure for flash floods, flood-prone and evacuation maps, and communication tools as a continuation of the community service program.

Abstract

Jatiluwih Village is a village located in Tabanan Regency where this village is famous for its unique natural charm. The village government certainly tries to deal with every waste problem that occurs in the Jatiluwih Village area. Efforts made by the government to overcome the waste problems that occur are with the TPS3R (Waste Processing Site with the 3R Concept). TPS3R is a waste processing site with the 3R concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) where its application can further help reduce the high volume of waste that accumulates both in the surrounding environment and TPA (Final Disposal Sites) and this concept is more environmentally friendly. Even though Jatiluwih Village already has a TPS3R, the local community still does not understand the function of the TPS3R and the waste segregation process. Therefore the author provides a solution by carrying out a work program for making educational videos about waste sorting at TPS3R Jatiluwih Village. This research method is a qualitative method to find out information related to waste sorting at TPS3R Jatiluwih Village. The research technique applied is by way of field surveys and interviews

Abstract

Tukad Barong Tourist Attraction is one of the icons of tourist attractions owned by Yangapi Village. The location of Tukad Barong is located in Banjar Umbalan and is managed by POKDARWIS under the auspices of BUMDES. This waterfall is one of the attractive places for the surrounding community with a root bridge and waterfall is perfect for travelers who want to capture their small moments through the camera they have. The program that I will do is Logo Making and Using Instagram as a Promotional Medium for Tukad Barong Tourist Attractions. The purpose of holding this work program activity is to help POKDARWIS in promoting the Tukad Barong tourist attraction which was vacuumed due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and create branding in the form of a logo for the Tukad Barong Tourism Object. Alasn the use of Instagram as a promotional medium because Instagram is one of the social media whose users are quite high, so it is hoped that the use of Instagram as a medium for Promotion of Tukad Barong Tourism Objects itself has a good impact on Tukad Barong Tourism Objects in the future. Abstract

For MSME players, the most appropriate choice to increase revenue and develop their business is to do digital marketing by utilizing technological developments and social media. Unfortunately, not all business owners know how to do effective marketing in order to reach potential customers, including D'YuRa Kitchen. D'YuRa Kitchen is one of the MSMEs in Fakfak Regency that operates online in the culinary field. Currently, D'YuRa Kitchen business actors are still doing conventional online marketing, namely by posting through social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and WhatsApp so that D'YuRa Kitchen cannot compete with other similar business actors. Digital marketing is an online marketing method that utilizes the sophistication of internet algorithms in recording the habits of internet users, making it easier for businesses to target potential customers. In the midst of competition from online business actors today, digital marketing is the right choice so that business actors can easily market their businesses effectively. The community service activity carried out by the team is to assist D'Yura Kitchens in conducting digital marketing of the products sold by D'Yura. Digital Marketing has proven to be able to boost the number of product sales and revenue of D'YuRa Kitchen in a short time.

Abstract

The main problem experienced by people with diabetes mellitus is the presence of acute and chronic complications that can aggravate health problems. One of the health problems due to Diabetes Mellitus is amputation due to hyperglycaemia conditions which can interfere with leucocytes as macrophages, resulting in prolonged wound healing and will cause infection. This community service is an effort to care and prevent Diabetes Mellitus to the community by using education, demonstration and mentoring methods. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge of the Paccing village community about Diabetes Mellitus and be able to apply diabetic gymnastics and diabetic foot SPA treatments. This activity includes three stages, namely Preparation, Implementation and Evaluation. The output of this activity is that there is an increase in knowledge before and after the intervention as many as 19 (54%) respondents in the low category, 14 (40%) respondents in the moderate category and 2 (5.7%) respondents in the high category while the data obtained after the intervention are 3 (8.6%) respondents in the low category, 18 (51.4%) respondents in the moderate category and 14 (40%) respondents in the high category. it is hoped that the results of this activity will become a recommendation for the Puskesmas and the local government to be followed up, especially regarding advanced care and treatment that suits the needs of people with Diabetes Mellitus.

Abstract

UMKM Ondomohen Pack, is a micro business engaged in producing packaging made of cardboard whose shape can be ordered according to the wishes of the customer. This PKM is a continuation of the collaboration with UMKM Ondomohen Pack which was held in 2019. This UMKM still needs improvement here and there, so this collaboration is sustainable. This year what the service lecturer team wants to fix is ​​the problem of recording financial bookkeeping which still uses a manual system by recording in a ledger. Therefore the team of community service lecturers will provide an introduction and training to MSME staff on android applications that can be used to handle financial records by utilizing available android applications. The implementation method begins with discussion and observation about what still needs to be fixed on the Ondomohen Pack, then training and mentoring will be held so that workers in charge of financial records understand Android-based accounting operations.
