Abstract

Community service in Paya Reje Tamidelem Village has been completed. The aim of this program is to increase the competence of village officials in carrying out their activities as administrators at the village office. The methods and approaches used are lectures and presentation of material explaining the benefits and functions of the Mail Merge feature in the Microsoft Word application. Meanwhile, the Microsoft Excel application is used as database storage. Data from Microsoft Excel is pulled into the Mail Merge feature, so document creation and correspondence will be faster and easier to do. The results of the Pre Test and Post Test that have been carried out by partners show that there is an increase in knowledge and understanding. Meanwhile, the results of the partner's evaluation of the Community Service program carried out showed that the partners' statements were very agree or very satisfied. With the exception of questions regarding understanding of the material presented, partners choose to agree or be satisfied, 62.5% and strongly agree or be very satisfied, 37.5%. Abstract

Empowerment is an effort to build community capacity, by encouraging, motivating, awakening, awareness of the potential they have and trying to increase and develop this potential so that it becomes real. This research is an empowerment effort carried out to overcome the problems that occur in the Ciujung Muara village, starting from the low level of community skills and the large number of unemployed people in the Ciujung Muara village. To examine the process of implementing this research examines the problem Through Tofu Making Home Industry, (3) Empowerment Indicators. The method used by the author in this study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, where data is obtained from observations, interviews and documentation. The data source for this research consisted of 1 tutor and home industry owner, 4 home industry owners, and 5 home industry employees. The results of this study indicate (1) Community Empowerment Efforts Through Tofu Making Home Industry have been going well. (2) the results of Community Empowerment Efforts Through Tofu Making Home Industry make people empowered and independent so that they are able to establish their own home industry. (3) people have freedom of mobility, as well participating in the empowerment process, as well as limited capital to open their own home industry. Abstract

The purpose of implementing community service (PKM) is to provide assistance in the management and calculation of zakat funds according to Islamic law for Rofiatul Islam students. Santri who are service partners are Rofiatul Islam students, Sentong Village, Krejengan District, Probolinggo Regency. The implementation of this service is fully supported by the Caregivers of the Rofiatul Islam Islamic Boarding School. The method of implementing this service is carried out with a tutorial on zakat material which is followed by an intensive two-way discussion, and at the end of the implementation of the service a demonstration of zakat calculations is carried out for 4 (four) meetings. The time for carrying out this community service is the odd semester of 2022/2023 during December-March 2023. The place for carrying out the community service is on the terrace of the Rofiatul Islam jami mosque. The results of this service show that the assistance in the management and calculation of zakat funds according to Islamic law provides a deeper understanding of the procedures for managing and calculating zakat funds for Rofiatul Islam students in Sentong Village, Krejengan District, Probolinggo Regency. The implications of this community service activity make the management of zakat funds properly according to the guidelines given by Islamic law, making zakat funds maximally productive and on target for recipients

Abstract

This community service aims to socialize water treatment technology from the Polaman spring in Polaman, Kebakalan Village, Karanggayam, Kebumen, Central Java, and further enhance the capabilities of UKM partners in processing water into packaged drinking water products and increasing the market value of the water. The Polaman spring is the main water source for the community in that area, but its water quality does not yet meet the safe standards for human consumption. This community service involves the implementation of water treatment technology in several stages. Firstly, an initial survey is conducted to understand the condition of the water source and the needs of the local community. Then, the appropriate water treatment method is chosen based on those conditions and needs. The applied method is filtration technology using microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis, complemented with UV radiation. Subsequently, water treatment is socialized by utilizing the filtration technology. Through this water treatment socialization, it is expected that the water quality from the Polaman spring can be improved and deemed safe for local consumption. Additionally, it is also expected to raise public awareness regarding the importance of safe water treatment and responsible water usage.

Abstract

Nutritional status is an indicator of success in meeting nutritional needs, especially shown in achieving weight according to age. Good nutritional status if the nutritional intake is in accordance with the needs of the body. Lack of nutrient intake in food can cause malnutrition, while excess nutrient intake will result in over nutrition. Lack of knowledge related to nutritional status has an impact on body growth and development. Providing nutritional status analysis can involve technology in the form of artificial intelligence. Data processing related to cases that have occurred before in technology using machine learning. Application of technology in providing web-based nutritional status screening analysis. The application of technology has an effect in action in the form of providing fast and accurate analysis and can provide suggestions for reducing the impact on the occurrence of illness and death associated with nutritional status.

Abstract

Breastfeeding babies until six months without any other food is very beneficial because it can protect babies from various diseases that can cause death. Exclusive breastfeeding can prevent postpartum hemorrhage, stop excessive bleeding during menstruation, lose weight quickly, and prevent cancer risk. Babies are given complete breastfeeding weight if the average is more excellent than those given other food from the start. This happens because the other food provided does not contain zinc and iron, suitable for baby growth. The activity was carried out at the Kesimpar Kawan Kesimpar Village hamlet, Abang District, Karangasem Regency. This Community Service activity is an outreach about exclusive breastfeeding and complementary feeding. The targets used in this community service activity were 50 pregnant women and nursing mothers. The implementation of community service activities consisted of a pretest on the knowledge of pregnant and breastfeeding women about exclusive breastfeeding and complementary foods, then continued with the provision of health information using the lecture and demonstration method. After that, the activity continued with a posttest.

Abstract

Puskesmas as a Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) which is under Dinas Kesehatan Kota Semarang was responsible for assisting public health in their rural area. There were 37 puskesmas in Semarang that also liable to share the information about public health in digital media such as Instagram. In order to improve the performance in digital media, puskesmas need to acknowledge the social media maintenance skill. By collaborating between Dinas Kesehatan Kota Semarang and Dian Nuswantoro University Communication Studies Program in the field of community service was carried out with teme of producing health communication content in social media. In this activity, we have to materials presented: content production in social media and reportase. Training activity was held on June 25, 2023 and was attended by 37 participant, they were social media managers at Puskesmas in Semarang. The methods in this activity is carried out three steps: Pre Activity, Activity, and Evaluation. Evaluation results were obtained from prepost test and discussion with participants. In the pretest, we have concluded that participants had good skills in understanding the Instagram features but did not knowing management and production of digital content. Participants understanding of reporting needs to be improved because 60% was reporting practices well. The results of this training post test showed that more than 90% of participant felt their understanding had increased about optimizing instagram media for increased content production and competence in public speaking for reporting on the implementation of puskesmas activity.

Abstract

Abstract The PKM Team's program this time is socialization on how to conduct training in compiling computerized CGP, through digital training at Pempek and Martabak Ato’ Semeru Mitra. This is done because the conditions in 2022 are the initial stages of MSMEs starting to rise, as the influence of Covid19 decreases. Even so, there are still many people who choose to do activities as needed outside. Therefore, the PKM Team agreed to introduce easy training in compiling Cost of Production, through digital training. We start this training by designing HPP calculations using Visual Basic for Application. Then the PKM Team packs it in a Video Tutorial which is complete with usage examples. Furthermore, the training continues with the help of Gmeet or Zoom. Partners are greatly helped by this training, because after studying the material before the training begins, the tutorial time is fully used for Q&A in numerical simulations, so Partners are able to produce a Cost of Goods Production Report. Abstract

The uptake of graduates of Curup D3 Nursing Study Program has reached 76% in various service institutions both at home and abroad. There are 24% who are not yet working because they do not get support from their parents to work outside the area, most are unemployed and a small number are continuing their Bachelor of Nursing education in 2022. The purpose of community service is to provide acupressure training so that graduates are able to add skills independently that can be compared when providing nursing care when dealing with clients in the community. Community service method for graduates who have not worked as many as 25 people. The implementation of the training is divided into 2 stages, namely the stage of providing knowledge and the stage of implementing direct practice to clients. Training by resource persons who are health workers, a nurse and an observant midwife and acupressure therapy practitioners in the community. The results of the training of 25 participants increased the basic knowledge and skills of acupressure, the mean pre knowledge was 10.60 and the mean post was 20.40. Each graduate performs basic acupressure practices which are evaluated by the resource person.
