Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide financial planning training at the Yogyakarta Special Region of Yogyakarta Special Region for the Integrated Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities (BRTPD DIY). Based on initial observations, it is known that persons with disabilities have not received training regarding financial management skills. The problem that occurs is that BRTPD DIY has limitations in competent human resources in the field of financial management. The implementation of the activity begins with collecting references on disability. The second stage is to identify the special needs of persons with disabilities. The third stage is the preparation of personal financial planning training materials. The last stage is the implementation of training activities. The results achieved in this community service activity are an increase in the competence of instructors at BRTPD DIY related to financial management. This is to prepare for further activities to include financial management as part of the rehabilitation program in BRTPD DIY.

Abstract

The Indonesian Republic Army have several jobs that require them to work on the front line which is full of risks, dangers, and pressure from work stress and the environment. This activity aims to improve the spirituality of Indonesian Army during 4 days retreat with them of the Jesus Christ spirituality.  The spirituality Jesus Christ retreat was carried out during 9-12 August 2022 at the Wismalat Podomoro, Banyuasin with a total of 45 participants. The material given includes the principle of spirituality, the spirituality of love, being a person full of love and TNI full of love and love. During the activity, the participants participated in the activity until the end, showing enthusiasm for their activities by asking questions and being open to their daily experiences.

Abstract

As affected by Covid-19 pandemic, most of children experienced online learning. This online learning could affect children school readiness when they entering school. They showed various problems, such as math, writing, emotion, attention and in following instructions. To assist these children, teachers need to assess their school readiness using NST, and their intellectual potential using CPM. As the assessment process often takes time, we developed an information system integrated in this assessment. This system enables the psychologists to reduce time in doing the assessment and teachers may get the result faster. Based on the assessment using NST and CPM, it was found that in general children are ready to enter the school.

Abstract

Fieldwork practicum that exists among students is not a new thing in the world of lectures has become an obligation and requirement of every university in the learning process. It also becomes a final task in completing studies. Social welfare study program expects students to be able to carry out practical field work well, not only to implement knowledge but to produce changes that are beneficial to the community or beneficiaries. One of the social welfare students made a change to the children of the Ora Et Labora Nusantara orphanage, Medan Petisah where the field work practicum was held. Change agents form a study group, this is based on the group work method. In carrying out social interventions, of course, there are several stages starting from the preparation stage, assessment stage, planning, action plan formulation stage, implementation, evaluation, termination. Social welfare students make a mini-project about Language Education (learning to speak Indonesian). This language education is carried out because many children there are still passive in using good and correct Indonesian because every day, they use the local language where they live, lack of parental attention, lack of interaction with others and lack of good knowledge. The author hopes that what social welfare students done can help improve human resources and of course help orphanage children who need help.

Abstract

This event aims to empower people from various parishes in the management of the Columbarium to be involved in becoming community administrators, awareness of the use of Columbarium facilities, and involvement in praying for the ancestors. There are 2 partners involved in this service, namely Partner 1: Management and Partner 2: Observers and donors. The steps in the dedication are a. inviting people to be involved in novena prayer activities, b. invite people to be involved in the fundraising process, c. invite people to be involved in columbarium development activities and d. invite people to be involved in socializing the use of the columbarium. The result of the dedication is that many people are involved in various activities, namely prayer, raising funds and donors, building activities of the Columbarium, and participating in the socialization of the use of the Columbarium. The Columbarium will be a comfortable, clean, neat, beautiful, cool, safe, orderly storage place for ashes and bones. The facilities available at the Columbarium are: bathrooms, parking lots, seats, tap water, and the Joglo building. The administrators and volunteers are able to maintain and provide services to visitors who will pray for the ancestors.

Abstract

Pangudi Luhur Vocational School students are of productive and innovative age. So it is necessary to get additional knowledge to increase the power of creativity to face increasing competition. Computer Programming using Visual Basic is an effort to increase creativity. Visual Basic is integrated into Microsoft Excel software, almost always present on the computer. Computer programming is done to help with repetitive calculations, especially in the design of machine elements. It is hoped that vocational students will be more creative and develop according to the field to be occupied. In addition, the output targets for this service are training modules and submitting articles to community service journals

Abstract

Servants receive complaints from community leaders in Cibuyutan village about the phenomenon of early marriage. The purpose of the community service program is to provide debriefing to the community to continue education for those who are not married and household conflict management for those who are married. The method used is in the form of lectures. The provisional result of this community service based on directives from the local Environmental Chair and madrasa teachers is that the achievements have been fulfilled by providing the message to be conveyed at an early age. This process needs to be done to give a message that will be embedded in the subconscious that education is important to produce a better civilization.

Abstract

The IBM Goes to School community service program is held with the aim of equipping Tri Karya High School students with skill sets that can support the creation of youngpreneurs in Indonesia. The problems faced by students are related to the tendency to have a fixed mindset and lack of courage to get out of their comfort zone. Educational program with the theme "How to Be an Impactful Youngpreneur". The educational program aims to provide a new picture and meaning about entrepreneurship to answer students' problems. The implementation method used is an educational method through presentation of material and a series of interactive activities to support the material. The results of this program include: 1) succeeded in providing encouragement to hone students' growth mindset skills, 2) succeeded in providing encouragement to step outside their comfort zone, 3) was able to motivate students to start their own businesses, 4) provided an illustration for the formation of an entrepreneurship style students of Tri Karya High School. Overall, this program has been successfully implemented and reaped a positive response through the enthusiasm and changes experienced by the students.

Abstract

Practicum is an activity that cannot be separated from chemical learning. Chemistry learning can be more meaningful through attractive practicum activities. One obstacle that arises in the implementation of the practicum is the availability of adequate practicum materials and tools. Small-scale chemistry practicum can overcome this obstacle, which is in the form of the use of materials that are environmentally friendly and available in the surrounding environment, as well as simple practicum tools that can be used. One of the small-scale chemistry practicums trained is the water electrolysis practicum. Simple practicum using sodium sulfate and water, able to explain the electrolysis of water well. Through this small-scale chemistry practicum training, teachers are expected to have the skills to carry out simple practicums and develop other practicum topics while still paying attention to the scientific field. Through this small-scale-based chemical practicum training, there is an increase in the mastery of the concept shown by an increase in the average score from 30.67 to 73.33. The teachers give a positive response regarding the implementation of this training activity.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) need effective marketing strategies to increase product visibility and sales. One way to promote products is by using digital media, such as social media and websites. The problem that exists in MSME actors is that not all MSME actors have adequate graphic design skills. In efforts to overcome this, MSME actors can use applications that can be used to create content design easily and the results are good. One application that can be used is Canva. Canva is a graphic design tool that is user-friendly and easy to use even for beginners who do not understand content design. This application provides a variety of templates and features that allow users to create attractive visual designs. One of the activities to improve MSME players is training on the importance of promotion on social media. This effort was made by MSME players who are members of the Banyuwangi Family Association in Yogyakarta (IKAWANGI) in collaboration with the Informatics study program of the AKPRIND Institute of Science Technology to organize training to improve promotion through social media and create easy and attractive promotional content. The implementation method is carried out by training methods and direct assistance to MSME actors. Assistance includes providing directions for creating content using the Canva application.  In the context of MSMEs, the use of Canva can help businesses to create promotional content such as brochures, posters, invitations, business cards, and so on. Businesses can customize the design with their brand, adding text, images, and logos to create a unique and consistent design. In conclusion, the use of the Canva application can provide significant benefits for MSME players in creating attractive and effective promotional content. With Canva, MSME players can increase their digital presence and increase product sales.
