Abstract

Positive impact of health education can improve knowledge and attitudes, especially among adolescents who are vulnerable to HIV-AIDS transmission. To improve knowledge about HIV-AIDS, it is necessary to systematically integrate the material into formal and non-formal education, both in public and religious education. Based on primary data on the distribution of knowledge about HIV-AIDS in Mappasaile Village, Pangkajene District, Pangkep Regency, it is known that the community has low knowledge of HIV-AIDS, with only 0.7% having high knowledge and 99.3% having low knowledge. The research aims to improve the knowledge, understanding, and attitudes of adolescents in Mappasaile Village in preventing HIV-AIDS. The activity carried out was counseling using lecture and discussion methods and distributing brochures at SMPN 3 Pangkajene. The method used to evaluate the increase in adolescent knowledge during counseling activities is pre-test and post-test design. To analyze the data obtained, statistical testing is carried out using the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. The results show a significant increase in knowledge by 75.65%, and the counseling activities run according to plan and receive a positive response from the participants

Abstract

Waste is the residual product of human activities in everyday life that is no longer used, disliked or even thrown away. The existence of waste that is left scattered in the environment can have an impact on environmental and human health. This is because waste can become a breeding ground for disease vectors, such as rats, flies and mosquitoes which can cause diarrhea and dengue fever. Household scale waste management can be done using the 3R method (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle). Waste management with the 3R principle can not only reduce the amount of waste, but also has economic value by becoming an alternative source of income for the community. The purpose of this activity is to increase students' understanding of the impact of waste and waste management and to foster a character of love for the environment in students. The form of this community service activity is in the form of counseling or health education on how to process waste with the 3 R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) at SMP Negeri 30 Sigi. The results of the evaluation show that participants can understand the material presented. This can be seen during the discussion session where the participants were very enthusiastic in asking and answering questions when giving quizzes

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to increase public awareness in order to protect the coastal area of ??Mamala Country so that it is free from garbage. The method used in this service is the method of observation and participation with three stages of activity for participants, namely before the activity, carrying out the activity and after the activity. This service activity was carried out at Mamala State Beach, Leihitu District, Central Maluku Regency, attended by 22 people consisting of lecturers, local communities and tourists. This beach clean movement activity can be carried out smoothly in accordance with the planned activities. This activity can develop the mindset of the community and increase their concern in preventing environmental pollution which in turn can make the beach clean, beautiful and comfortable and can increase the visiting power of tourists to the beach

Abstract

One of the steps that can be taken to create value for customers is the marketing mix program, namely product, price, place, and promotion or 4P. Proper management of the marketing mix will provide many benefits for business actors. The marketing mix can be a distinct advantage for business actors that is not owned by its competitors. The purpose of community service is to help IKM Yawei Pudu, Tasangkapura in Jayapura Selatan Village to implement the 4P principles of the marketing mix in an effort to increase sales turnover during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of the implementation of the 4P principles of the marketing mix in an effort to increase sales turnover to Yawei Pudu IKM players in Jayapura Selatan Village include; 1). Products: quality, design, shape, brand, and product packaging are still not given proper attention. 2). Price: still not taking into account the expenses, production costs and well-earned profits so the pricing seems high. 3). Marketing/location distribution channels: the place of business is still not in a more strategic location. And 4). Promotion: promotional activities have not been carried out optimally

Abstract

From the conservation standpoint, critical land is land that can no longer function to operate the water system, soil resources, and biodiversity that lives on the land. Critical land exhibits signs indications of environmental degradation as a result of numerous sorts of improper land resource utilization. The impact of critical land results in a decrease in the function of conservation, production function, and socio-economic life of the community. The Sumadi Farmer Group encountered hurdles downstream (marketing) and upstream (cultivation) due to limited land use and lack of human resources who understood plant conservation systems. Therefore, this community service aims to preserve critical land with biological conservation methods by improving soil quality, cultivating healthy plants, and controlling pests and diseases using vegetable pesticides. The activity began with the observation of agroforestry planting land, then socialization and presentation of material by the team of lecturers, followed by demonstrations on the land, and ended with an evaluation. Empowered with an understanding of cultivation techniques and restorative plant care, the Sumadi farmer group is passionate about developing an organic farming system to overcome land issues

Abstract

The Golden Period of a child starts from the first 1000 days of life or starts from 4 months in the womb to 2 years of age. At this time, nutritional intake and maternal health must be really considered because it determines the growth and development of children perfectly. Poor nutrition will result in the physical and brain development of children becomes inhibited.  This community service (PkM) aims to increase the literacy of mothers about the importance of the first 1000 days of life to improve the healthy lifestyle of the community. The method used in this (PkM) is the extension method. Data collection techniques through pre-test and post-test. The results (PKM) show that there are differences in counseling activities for the first 1000 days of life to improve a healthy lifestyle

Abstract

Basic education has a very important position, because it is the beginning of the formation of the pattern of a student. The development of the world of education is currently getting attention from all circles, especially educators, because of the rampant cases of bullying in schools. Bullying or bullying affects the psychological development and development of student character formation. This is homework for all of us so that in the future, students can avoid bullying. One of the efforts that can be done is by preventing bullying in the school environment. The method used in supporting bullying efforts in schools by using the stop bullying movement by providing socialization and good practices in the school environment, implementation techniques on a scheduled basis and continuously implemented. Abstract

The potential for mangrove ecotourism in Lontar Village, Tirtayasa District, Serang Regency has great potential as an effort to improve the economy of the region. community understanding regarding the development of mangrove ecotourism potential and providing forms of conservation-based training as a form of community understanding of ecotourism potential in Lontar Village, Tirtayasa District, Serang Regency. the method used is counseling and training for community groups which later these groups will provide education to other communities about managing ecotourism tourism and preserving the environment Data collection techniques through pre-test and post-test, research results show that there is a significant change in the benefits training on increasing public knowledge about mangrove ecotourism

Abstract

Tilapia farming ranging from seed to large commercially using floating nets is still small, while the potential for aquaculture activities in general freshwater opportunities is still large. The level of demand for tilapia consumers tends to increase every year along with the increase in population. Maintenance containers in floating net caramba can maintain fish with high density to increase fish production. Karamba floating nets also have stable water quality so that production can be higher. Technical information on tilapia rearing in floating net caramba is needed so that fish production can be increased. This community service aims to determine the effect of empowering youth groups on tilapia cultivation on improving the community's economy. This method of community service through counseling and coaching. Data collection through pre-test and post-test. The results of this community service show that there is a significant influence on increasing community knowledge about tilapia farming

Abstract

Adolescence is a time when it requires a lot of knowledge, in order to overcome the turbulent problems in that phase. Given that the adolescent phase is a transitional phase from children to adults who experience many changes from physical, psychological and psychosocial aspects. It is from this phase that many gourds are created, anxieties arise, and problems arise. One of the things that makes them teenagers less capable or confused in overcoming the problem is lack of self-love or planting love in themselves. Self love is a form of action that aims to love themselves, respect themselves, love themselves and respect themselves, so that if the application of self love is able to be created, it will be able to have a positive impact on their mental health. The method in this devotion is lectures and discussions. The informant or subject in this service is a teenager who is a grade XI MIPA 4 student at SMA Negeri 1 Polokarto and a teenage study congregation at the Nurul Huda Karangasem mosque Surakarta. The result of this dedication is to provide socialization related to the importance of implementing or implementing self-love in everyday life which aims to overcome anxiety. The conclusion from the results of this service is that informants or subjects are basically still minimal and lacking in the application of daily self-love because feelings of anxiety and stress and confusion dominate. The resource person provides ways or methods in the application of self-love such as being grateful, thinking positively, appreciating the achievements that have been passed
