<![CDATA[Community service activities in the form of introducing technology in the manufacture of compost made from mango leaves are an effort to take advantage of the potential that exists in the surrounding environment in the form of remnants of organic waste that will be used as fertilizer. This community service activity was carried out in Oro-Oro Ombo Village, Rembang District, Pasuruan Regency. The method used in this activity is provision of learning materials in the form of socialization and demonstration. Providing training materials on the manufacture of organic fertilizer made from mango leaves. Demonstration activities were carried out by practicing organic fertilizers and introducing the tools and materials used which were directly guided by the lecturers of the Faculty of Agriculture, UPN "Veteran" East Java. The provision of materials and demonstrations in the manufacture of fertilizers provides benefits to the knowledge of farmers in utilizing plant remains and mango leaf waste. The awareness of the farming community in making fertilizers independently can reduce expenditures in purchasing chemical fertilizers and can increase additional income from the sale of organic fertilizers]]>

<![CDATA[Currently, people at Lekke Village use electricity supplied by Micro hydro Power Plant. The plant of this turbine is located at about 5-6 km from the village and operates only about 10-12 hours per day, from 06.00 PM in evening to 06.00 AM in the morning. The remote location of the micro hydro plant decreases the received voltage at the community. Besides, the unstable condition of turbine installed at Lekke Village resulted in the fluctuation of the output frequency and voltage. At dry season, the decrement of water flow makes the decrement of the supplied power from the micro hydro plant. While in rainy season, the turbine sometimes fail to operate properly because of garbage, dry leaves, etc. which fall into the river and blocked its flow. Due to this condition, the needs of electricity at Lekke Village are crucial and needs the installation of solar power to meet the community needs. This activity trains local people to have a basic ability on how to build hybrid power installation of turbine and solar power. For this purpose Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Team from Enginering Faculty of Atmajaya Makassar University is funded by Dirjen Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset dan Teknologi Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan through Kegiatan Bantuan Pendanaan Program Penelitian Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Berbasis Hasil Penelitian dan Purwarupa PTS Ditjen Diktiristek. This training provides 2 basic skills to local people: 1). How to install Solar Power to be used at Sound System and lighting in the St.Anna church; 2) How to build the control system for the hybridization of micro hydro power-solar power. This training conducts in 2 consecutive session which is training session and installation session. Training session provide basic knowledge of micro hydro power-solar power to the local people and at the installation session the local people together with the trainer work together to install the solar power at St. Anna Church. This activity installs 2X140 WP solar panel with capacity equal to 140 Watt. The solar panel supported by 2x60 Watt batteries. After the installation, the installed system at St.Anna Church able to work 24 hours, supply 70 Watt Sound System and activate 10 lighting points where each point needs 7 Watt. <![CDATA[La'bo 'Village is one of the villages in North Toraja Regency. It is located about 8 km from the city of Rantepao. The people live as farmers. In addition, generally every household raises livestock in a pen at the back of the house. Manure from each livestock pen is disposed of freely, causing an unhealthy odor around the house. To solve the pollution problem, a training was conducted for the La'bo 'community to build a biogas installation as a tool to properly process livestock manure and provide added value to the community. To build a biogas installation, training is carried out using the on-job training method. The community is invited to work directly to build the installation together so that they can receive the knowledge and skills from this waste treatment technology. The training to build a biogas installation was carried out in collaboration with the Marante Tampang Allo Farmer Group and the Biang Farmer Group. From this training, the community has gained knowledge and skills to build and manage livestock waste into biogas. The result of this collaboration with farmer groups has succeeded in building 2 units of biogas installations with a capacity of 4 m3 of the fixed dome type. With the construction of the biogas installation, the air pollution around the house becomes healthier and the demand for LPG for each household has been replaced by biogas produced from the biogas installation]]>

<![CDATA[This Community Benefit (PKM) points to make strides English dialect abilities through the TOEFL educating program for Al-Amien Bugih Tall School understudies. With the existence of social media, of course, it can make it easier, help businesses and develop their marketing strategies.The purpose of this service is to provide training on the use of social media to improve marketing. <![CDATA[Savings in electricity consumption at this time is something to note because the growth of electricity load in urban areas is very fast while the growth of power plants tends to be slow. One way to save PLN electricity consumption is to utilize solar panels as an alternative energy source, where some or all of the electricity load can be transferred to solar power plants (PLTS) on the grid. The research was conducted by load design methods and simulations of the loading of electrical power. The power generated by PLTS on grid is calculated based on the level of solar radiation, ranging from 06:30 to 18:00. Based on the results of the analysis obtained that by using PLTS on grid as an alternative energy source in residential homes, it can provide savings in PLN electricity consumption of 34.78% to 89.54%. These results show that the use of PLTS on grid is very suitable for its use in urban areas in order to support electricity saving policies]]>

<![CDATA[Knowing blood type is an important part for every human being. Many of us do not know what type of blood type we have. This case becomes very crucial when the individual experiences a disaster. The action of handling the patient becomes late, because this individual does not yet know the type of blood group he has. Knowing your blood type helps the body stay healthy, plan for the future and prevent complications. The implementation method in this community service activity begins with the planning stage by conducting site surveys and interviews with the school, the preparation stage by preparing equipment in the form of tools, materials and other equipment and the implementation stage by opening and checking blood groups and distributing blood group identity cards. This activity was well received by the school and students. The number of students who carried out the examination was 26 people with a percentage of 42.31% male students and 57.69% female students. The results of the blood group examination obtained by the students of TKIT Al-Qalam Makassar are having blood group A (42.31%), blood type B (26.92%), blood type AB (7.69%) and blood type O (42, 31%).]]>
