Edu Sociata adalah jurnal program studi pendidikan sosiologi STKIP Bima yang merupakan jurnal online (online journal system), dimana para dosen dapat mempublikasikan hasil penelitiannya secara berkala. Di jurnal ini para dosen aktif melakukan penelitian sebagaimana tuntutan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Edu Sociata merupakan terbitan jurnal berkala antara bulan Juni dan bulan Desember. Abstract

This research is used as an initial basis in developing teaching materials that aim to identify real needs in the field related to learning materials, so that quality and appropriate teaching materials can be produced. One of the local wisdom values raised in this development is the Maja Labo Dahu Tradition from the Bima Region. This research aims to identify the needs of local history-based teaching materials as a basis for developing learning materials that are effective and relevant to the local cultural context. The main focus of the development of this teaching material is the integration of local wisdom values, especially the traditions of the people of Bima. The research method used was descriptive qualitative method, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation studies at several senior high schools (SMA/SMK) in the relevant region. The results showed that there is a high need for teaching materials that promote local history and culture. This condition encourages the need to develop digital literacy-based teaching materials that contain local wisdom values, in order to increase students' understanding of regional history and strengthen cultural identity in the school environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving positive affirmations (self hypnosis) on impulsive buying of early adult e-commerce users in West Sumatra. The type of research used in this study is experimental research with a pre-experimenal research design with a one group pretest-posttest type. The population in this study are early adult e-commerce users who have done impulsive buying and live in West Sumatra. The number of subjects in this study were 8 people. In collecting data using the Impulsive Buying Tendency scale by Verplanken and Herabadi (2003) with a reliability value of .90. The data analysis technique used is the Wilcoxon Matched-Pairs Signed Ranks Test. A significant value of .012 <.05 was found, which means Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of giving positive affirmations (self hypnosis) on impulsive buying of early adult e-commerce users in West Sumatra.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji adat perkawinan adat masyarakat Gampong Ujong Drien di Aceh Barat yang kaya akan nilai-nilai budaya dan agama. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk memahami makna simbolik, tahapan upacara, dan bentuk-bentuk akulturasi budaya yang terkandung dalam praktik perkawinan masyarakat setempat. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun aspek-aspek eksternal seperti busana pengantin dan tata rias pengantin telah mengalami perubahan, namun hakikat adat istiadat tetap utuh dan sangat berpadu dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Upacara perkawinan adat tersebut diwariskan secara turun-temurun dan didukung secara aktif oleh tokoh masyarakat dan tokoh agama setempat. Akulturasi budaya yang terjadi bersifat harmonis, tidak menghilangkan unsur adat istiadat, tetapi justru memperkaya makna perkawinan sebagai ikatan suci. Oleh karena itu, melestarikan adat istiadat tersebut penting untuk menjaga identitas budaya dan warisan spiritual masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBM) method in improving students' learning achievement on Mutation material in class XII SMAN 1 Monta. The research method used was quantitative with quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of 58 students divided into experimental group (n=29) and control group (n=29) obtained through simple random sampling technique. The data collection instrument was a learning achievement test consisting of 30 multiple choice questions given at the pre-test and post-test. Data analysis was conducted with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using t-test. The results showed that the average score of students' learning achievement in the experimental group using PBM method was significantly higher than the control group using conventional learning method. This research indicates that the application of PBM method is effective in improving students' learning achievement on Mutation material. Based on these results, the PBM method is recommended to be implemented by teachers in learning Biology at school. Further research on the effectiveness of the PBM method in other subjects and different levels of education needs to be done to enrich the treasure of knowledge in the field of education.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of good governance principles in Village Fund management in Kuala Kuayan Village, Mentaya Hulu District, East Kotawaringin Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the implementation of good governance principles in Village Fund management in Kuala Kuayan Village has been running, but there are still some obstacles, especially regarding transparency and accountability principles. This research found that community participation in Village Fund planning is quite good, but involvement in supervision is still limited. Transparency of Village Fund budget information is not yet optimal, while accountability for Village Fund reporting has been carried out in accordance with applicable regulations. The effectiveness and efficiency of fund management still need to be improved through more targeted programs. This research recommends the need to strengthen the capacity of village officials, increase socialization of Village Funds to the community, and improve village financial information systems to support transparency and accountability.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate differences in anxiety differences in anxiety levels between investors and traders in Indonesia’s capital market during stock price declines. Using a quantitative comparative approach, data were collected from 502 respondents (251 investors and 251 traders) through purposive sampling and analyzed using an independent samples t-test. Results showed a significant difference in anxiety levels between investors (M = 51.04) and traders (M = 56.25), with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Most investors (74.9%) and traders (62.9%) experienced moderate anxiety levels, but traders had a higher proportion of high anxiety (33.1%) compared to investors (13.1%). This indicates that short-term trading activities impose greater psychological pressure than long-term investing. The findings support Greenberger and Padesky’s (2016) cognitive-behavioral theory, which explains anxiety as an interaction of thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physical symptoms. This study highlights the importance of psychological education and stress management strategies for market participants, particularly traders, to maintain mental well-being and sound decision-making in volatile markets.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the scramble type cooperative model assisted by media cards on student learning outcomes in mathematics learning in class V MI and SDIT Almawaddah Warrahman Kolaka. This study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design. The population of the study was all students of class V MI and SDIT Almawaddah Warrahman Kolaka totaling 15 students. The research instuments included a learning outcome test sheet (a written test in the form of an essay of 10 questions about multiplication) and an observation sheet to observe the learning process of teachers and students using media cards. Data collection techniques used tests (pretest and posttest) and observation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and inferentially using SPSS 25, including normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class (cooperative model scramble type assisted by media cards) was 91,84 higher than the control class (classical learning expository technique) with an average of 86.31. the normality test showed that the pretest dan posttest data of both classes were normally distributed. The homogeneity test also shows that the variance of the pretest and posttest data of both classes is homogeneous. The results of the hypothesis test using the Independent Sample T-Test show a Sig value of 0,045, which is smaller thean 0,05. This indicates that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, indicating a positive influence of the scramble type cooperative model assisted by card media on student’s mathematics learning outcomes.
