Methodology/approach–The research design in this study is quantitative with a self-administered online survey research method. The research participants were adult female cosmetics consumers over 18 years of age selected through online panel providers in Pangalengan, South Bandung, totaling 9,964 people with the Simple Random Sampling technique obtained 384 samples. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, including t-test and ANOVA. Findings–The results reveal significant differences between the variables, and support plays an important role in purchasing decisions. ANOVA results show a strong relationship between endorsement, celebrity endorsement, and brand image. Regression models show that endorsements and celebrity endorsements positively affect purchase intentions, with endorsements having a relatively significant effect. Abstract

Purpose – This study examines the effect of ownership structure on the relationship between profitability and dividend policy in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012 to 2023. Methodology/approach – This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data from annual financial reports. A sample of 141 companies was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 1,117 observations. The analysis was conducted using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to test the moderating role of ownership structure in the profitability-dividend policy relationship. Findings – The results indicate that profitability and liquidity positively affect dividend policy, while leverage has a negative effect. Managerial ownership significantly reduces dividend payments, as managers prefer retained earnings for future growth. Institutional ownership, however, strengthens the relationship between profitability and dividend policy, acting as a monitoring mechanism to ensure optimal dividend distribution. Novelty/value – This study provides new insights into the moderating role of ownership structure in dividend policy decisions within the Indonesian manufacturing sector. The findings highlight the importance of institutional oversight in ensuring dividend payments align with shareholder interests, while managerial ownership tends to prioritize internal funding over distributions.

Abstract

This research investigates the role of the digital ecosystem in enhancing trade in halal products within an increasingly competitive global market. this integration. This research employs a qualitative method, utilizing library research and content analysis techniques to examine various secondary sources, including scientific journals, industry reports, and documents from international institutions. The analysis process involved categorizing information based on key themes, including supply chain efficiency, transparency in certification, and regulatory challenges. The results show that digital technology can enhance market access, improve distribution efficiency, and increase consumer confidence in halal products. However, there are major challenges, including differences in international halal standards, limited digital infrastructure, and a lack of Sharia-based digital regulations and literacy. Abstract

Global Sharia-based trade is growing in response to the need for a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable economic system. This article analyzes multilateral institutions that promote global Sharia trade, focusing on strategies, effectiveness, and policy impacts on country development. The research was conducted through a systematic literature review approach and a current case study analysis, integrating three main theories: World Systems (Wallerstein), Institutionalism (North), and Global Governance. The results show that institutions such as the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) play an important role in harmonizing halal standards, facilitating sharia financing, and developing adaptive trade regulations. The results show that these institutions' interventions have increased halal product exports by up to 30%, expanded access to sharia microfinance, and created thousands of jobs in developing countries. However, differences in standards, limited local capacity, and inequality in access to technology remain significant challenges. Therefore, cross-country collaboration and strengthening national institutions are needed to create a cohesive and competitive global Sharia trading ecosystem. This study provides strategic recommendations to strengthen synergy between institutions and support the sustainability of sharia trading in a dynamic global economic landscape.
