Abstract

The research on papaya leaves was aimed at determining antibacterial activity, antibiofilm activity, K+ and Ca2+ metal ion parameters, as well as the morphology of S.aureus bacteria from papaya leaf fractions and extracts. The average value of the test results for the diffusion method at 50% concentration was 20.66 ± 0.57 and the test results for the dilution method for Minimum Inhibitory Concentration at a concentration of 12.5%. Antibiofilm formation inhibitor test results at a concentration of 50 mg/ml with an average value of 72.37 ± 0.65, a concentration of 25 mg/ml 64.75 ± 0.83 and a concentration of 12.5 mg/ml with an average value of IC50 of 0.975 ± 0.012. Biofilm degradation testing at a concentration of 50 mg/ml resulted in an average value of 60.43 ± 1.11, a concentration of 25 mg/ml with an average value of 50.05 ± 0.87 and a concentration of 12.5 mg/ml with an average value -mean 35.86 ± 1.05. The average EC50 value was 26.731 ± 1.1874. Tests using AAS on K+ metal ions showed ion leakage or cell contents coming out was 1,805 mg/L, Ca2+ metal ions resulting from this leak were 3,884. Morphological observations using SEM showed that the samples experienced shrinkage and reduced size from being perfectly round to oval to S.aureus bacteria in samples with water fraction

Abstract

Floods are a frequent disaster in Indonesia, particularly during the rainy season. To prevent damage, efforts are being made to improve drainage channels that can accommodate rainwater wells. However, water congestion in Gatot Subroto Road, Banjarmasin Eastern District, and Banjarmachin City along drainage channels is observed due to blockages or storage. A study aimed to determine rainfall leakage on the main channel on Gatot Subroto road using direct field observation, data collection, and processing. The study found that the main channel, with a capacity of 4,8502 m3/dt, can accommodate rain spills

Abstract

Information systems have an important role in supporting the health service process, to support the performance of hospital services using computerization. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the prescription service information system with the HOT-FIT (human, organization, technology and net benefit) method at Puruk Cahu Hospital. This study used a cross-sectional quantitative descriptive design  with a sample of 20 respondents. Data collection was carried out by direct observation, interviews with the Head of Pharmaceutical Installation, pharmacists, and pharmaceutical technical personnel, and data analysis by calculating SIM evaluation scores using the SPSS application. The results of the evaluation after development, the human  aspect results are good category with the effectiveness of the application of SIM application after development, the organization  aspect results are good category for the application of management information systems, the technology  aspect obtained good results after development for system implementation. The last aspect of net benefit has good category results. The results of information system development at the pharmaceutical installation of RSUD Puruk Cahu showed a significant increase in human, organizational, technology and net benefit aspects of 5.97; 10.31; 11.88 and 3.00% respectively

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the relationship between Qiraah and Jurisprudence, the method of Determining the Law of Jurisprudence according to Al-Alusi, and the impact of Qiraah on the Verses of Worship on Determining the Law of Jurisprudence according to Al-Alusi. This research is a qualitative research, the type of research is library research. The data collection method used is literature study. The results showed that; 1). The close relationship between fiqh and qiraah has had a significant impact on the understanding and development of Islamic law. The understanding and expertise in qiraah by the fuqaha provided an additional dimension in the interpretation and application of Islamic law. Thus, the close relationship between fiqh and qiraah became one of the hallmarks of the Islamic tradition of thought. 2) In exploring the verses to find istinbat law, imam al-Alusi uses two main methods, namely bayani and qiyasi methods. 3) The differences in qiraah that affect the istinbat law have given birth to different legal status. This has a significant impact on the process and results of determining the law, such as in the case of worship issues

Abstract

Damaged and potholed roads are often caused by poor subgrade conditions. Clay subgrade cannot withstand the loads applied on it, leading to the deterioration of the pavement structure. Soil stabilization is one way to address poor subgrades. Stabilization can be done by compacting the soil or mixing it with other materials that can improve its properties. This research aims to determine the effect of mixing domato on the soil at the Final Waste Disposal Site (TPA) in Pandu Village, which is clayey, by looking at the increase in the CBR (California Bearing Ratio) value of the clay soil after stabilization with domato. This research was conducted in the soil testing laboratory of the Civil Engineering Department at Manado State Polytechnic using experimental methods by stabilizing the existing soil with the addition of sand with variations of 10%, 15%, and 20%, and testing based on ASTM (American Society For Testing and Materials) and AASHTO (American Association Of State Highway and Transportation Officials) standards. The soil samples for testing were taken from TPA Pandu, and domato was sourced from the Talaud Islands, North Sulawesi. After testing, the original soil CBR value was found to be 3.70% without being mixed with domato. Then, after stabilization using domato with a 10% mixture variation, the CBR value was 5.20%. With a 15% domato mixture variation, the CBR value was 11.80%, and finally, with a 20% variation, the CBR value was 15.50%. From the test results, it can be seen that domato significantly affects the increase in CBR value

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in natural resources, one of which is natural asphalt found on Buton Island, Southeast Sulawesi, known as Buton asphalt (Asbuton). With the increasing development activities in Indonesia, the government is striving to reduce dependency on asphalt imports and optimize the utilization of Buton asphalt, particularly throughout Indonesia. Preblended Asbuton is a type of modified Buton asphalt that has begun to be widely used in various asphalt mixtures. This research aims to: (1) Obtain an optimal asphalt content (KAO) that is good and meets specifications; (2) Obtain Marshall characteristic values (Stability, Flow, VIM, VMA, VFB, density, and MQ) in the Asphalt Concrete - Wearing Course mixture using modified Buton asphalt (preblended) as a binder. Based on the research results, the Marshall characteristic values for the AC-WC Buton asphalt mixture are: VIM (Void in Mix) = 4.18%, VMA (Void Mineral Aggregate) = 16.80%, VFB (Void Filled With Bitumen) = 74%, density = 2.270 gr/cm³, Stability = 1400 kg, Flow = 3.350 mm, MQ (Marshall Quotient) = 410 kg/mm, KAO = 5.85%, and it meets the Asphalt Mixture Specifications with Buton Asphalt (Bina Marga Revision 1, 2018)

This festival covers eight creative sectors, namely: Film, Fashion, Fiction Writer & Font, Fine Arts, Food & Fruit, Fusion Music, Flora & Fauna. After being absent in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, F8 was held again and was successfully included in the Top 10 Kharisma Events Nusantara (KEN) in 2022 and 2023. This research aims to apply promotional aspects carried out by the Makassar City Tourism Office heading to the F8 Festival. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through interviews and observation. The research results show that F8 not only functions as an annual festival, but also as an effective strategic promotional mix tool with a focus on collaborating aspects of advertising and personal sales. Advertising is carried out through social media and conversion media, as well as personal sales which are packaged in a business to business form. Collaboration with various parties and friendly countries also supports improving the image of Makassar City as an international destination. In this way, F8 not only succeeded in increasing tourist visits, but also strengthened bilateral relations and promoted the local culture of Makassar City on the international stage
