Abstract

This study aims to determine that an effective marketing mix strategy can increase consumer appeal. Expand the market and ultimately encourage increased sales volume. This study is a type of causal associative research with a quantitative approach with a population in this study amounting to 3,191 customers, then using the slovin formula, the number of samples was determined as 100 customers whose sampling criteria were determined based on the purposive sampling technique, namely customers who have made more than 2 Blackmores Product purchase transactions at PT. Enseval Putera Megatrading Tbk. Data collection was carried out by directly distributing questionnaires so that the data obtained was processed using SPSS. Based on the results of the study, partially the product has a positive and significant effect on sales volume, partially the price has a positive and significant effect on sales volume, partially the location does not affect sales volume, partially the promotion has a positive and significant effect on sales volume, while simultaneously the product, price, location, and promotion have a positive and significant effect on sales volume.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Commitment and Work Ability on Employee Performance in the Office. The population and sample of this study were all 60 employees. The sampling technique used the Slovin Formula. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, literature studies and documentation studies. The results of this study Commitment has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at Shopeexpress Helvetia, Work Ability has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at Shopeexpress Helvetia, Commitment and Work Ability have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at Shopeexpress Helvetia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the forecasting of raw material inventory to optimize production capacity at the UD. Nelvan panglong business. The background of this study is based on the difficulty in providing limited raw materials, which hampers production capacity. The research method used in this study is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of raw material ordering records for 16 months, so the population and sample are raw material recording reports. The data analysis technique used is the Exponential Smoothing method. The results of the study indicate that a systematic forecasting system has not been used at the study site. Based on calculations using the Exponential Smoothing method with α = 0.1, it provides better results with an average error of 10.898 and an estimated raw material order of 489.59 m3 in the following month compared to α = 0.3 and 0.5. The results of this study recommend applying this method in determining the amount of raw material orders each period to avoid raw material stock shortages so that business operations can continue to run smoothly and be able to meet consumer or customer demand.

Abstract

The iPhone has become a social status symbol, especially among college students. This study analyzes the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), Word of Mouth (WOM), and the Social Environment on iPhone purchasing decisions among 76 STMB Multismart students. The research method used a quantitative approach with a questionnaire and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 25. The results show that FOMO, WOM, and the Social Environment have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, they explain 69.5% of the variation in iPhone purchasing decisions. These findings have implications for marketers in designing strategies based on FOMO, WOM, and social influence, as well as the importance of consumer education on campus.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of distribution quality and service on customer loyalty at PT. Pos Indonesia in Gunungsitoli City. This study is descriptive quantitative in nature, involving a series of processes from data collection, processing, to data interpretation through the application of equations to produce an accurate depiction of the researched conditions based on the obtained data. Based on the analysis using SPSS version 24 software, the results indicate a significant influence of distribution quality and service on customer loyalty at PT. Pos Indonesia in Gunungsitoli City, with a significance value (sig) of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05, and a contribution of 33%. The findings of this research are expected to encourage sustainable improvements in the distribution system and service quality, thereby realizing customer loyalty and supporting the company's competitiveness against other competitors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze green marketing strategies to strengthen the competitiveness of environmentally friendly MSMEs in North Sulawesi through the MAPALUS (Mari Pakai Lokal Unggulan Sulut) program. The initiative is inspired by the Minahasa cultural value of mutual cooperation (gotong-royong/mapalus), which has been adapted as a pentahelix-based collaboration model involving academia, government, industry, communities, and media to facilitate the dissemination and downstreaming of local innovations. A qualitative case study approach was applied, focusing on the series of activities under MAPALUS Expo, MAPALUS Talk, and MAPALUS Stories. The findings reveal that integrating the MAPALUS concept with the green marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion, and people) significantly strengthens the local innovation ecosystem. Environmentally friendly MSME products gained wider exposure through exhibitions and media coverage, while sustainability-oriented promotional strategies enhanced consumer trust. Furthermore, multiparty collaboration expanded distribution access and created business partnership opportunities that support the downstreaming of vocational research outputs. These results underscore that combining local wisdom and green marketing not only fosters literacy and adoption of appropriate technologies but also acts as a catalyst for building sustainable MSME competitiveness in North Sulawesi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing number of Shopee users. This study aims to determine the influence of Lifestyle, Flash Sale Promotion, and Discount on Purchase Intention of Shopee application users in Gen Z situations. This study uses a survey method with a sampling technique using the Lemeshow approach with a maximum estimate of 50% and an error rate of 10%. The sample size in this study consists of 100 samples. Data were analyzed using linear regression analysis. To assess the validity and reliability of the test, 30 consumers were selected from the entire population considered. This study uses a quantitative method. The research method used in this study is quantitative descriptive research, which aims to thoroughly analyze the subject matter. The results show that lifestyle, Lifestyle, Flash Sale Promotion, and Discount have a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention of Shopee users in Gen Z. The coefficient of determination of 0.236 or 23.6% indicates that the combined influence of lifestyle, Flash Sale Promotion, and Discount in explaining consumer usage decisions is 23.6%. The remaining 76.4% of the variance is likely due to factors outside the studied variables, such as service quality, shipping costs, and so on. The results of this study can be used as a reference for Shopee app developers to improve service quality and increase user trust.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the role of brand image in mediating the influence of product advantages on repurchase interest in Uniqlo fashion products. The problem is focused on the intense competition in the fashion industry, where product advantages and brand image are key factors influencing consumers’ decisions to make repeat purchases. To approach this problem, the study refers to theories from marketing, consumer behavior, and brand management, which emphasize the role of brand image as a mediator between product quality and customer loyalty. The data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 99 Management students from the 2022 cohort at the University of North Sumatra, selected using a purposive sampling technique, and analyzed quantitatively using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SmartPLS) with path analysis. This study concludes that product advantages significantly influence brand image, which in turn mediates the effect of product advantages on repurchase interest. In addition, brand image has a direct and significant effect on repurchase interest, indicating that improving product quality and strengthening brand image are essential strategies for enhancing customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to validate the construct of social support for employees in Nagan Raya Regency based on six dimensions of the Social Provisions Scale (SPS), attachment, social integration, reassurance of worth, reliable alliance, guidance, and opportunity for nurturance to help. The approach used is a quantitative descriptive with a cross-sectional design. The determination of the number of samples refers to the number of indicators, which is 5 to 10 times the number of indicators, resulting in 120 respondents selected using a cluster sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using the Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) method using AMOS. The results of the analysis show that all dimensions have a standardized regression weight value 0.5, a construct reliability (CR) value 1.96, and a p-value 0.05. The estimated values are: attachment (estimate = 0.796; p = 0.000), social integration (estimate = 0.986; CR = 3.776; p = 0.000), reassurance of worth (estimate = 0.348; CR = 2.919; p = 0.004), reliable alliance (estimate = 0.765; CR = 4.073; p = 0.000), guidance (estimate = 0.584; CR = 3.960; p = 0.000), and opportunity for nurturance (estimate = 0.368; CR = 2.687; p = 0.007). All hypotheses are accepted. This finding confirms that the six dimensions are valid components in the construct of social support in the work environment of Nagan Raya Regency employees.
