Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality principles on community satisfaction at the Bina Baru Village Office, Kulo District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with 47 respondents, using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. The variables studied include the principles of strategic service quality s independent variables and community satisfaction as dependent variables. This study uses a simple linear regression analysis method with hypothesis testing through the IBM SPSS Version 21.00 for Windows application with a level of α = 0.05 as a form of data analysis process.The results of this study indicate that the variable of service quality principles (X) can be seen that the level of respondent achievement of 60.53% is categorized as less than good, therefore the principles of service quality must be further improved. Public Satisfaction (Y) with respondent achievement of 53.1%, so the t count value> t table, or 7.388> 2.014 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning significant. So, the influence of the application of service quality principles has a significant effect on public satisfaction at the Bina Baru Village Office, Kulo District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of public service quality on patient satisfaction at the Barukku Public Health Center, located in Pitu Riase District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The population of this study consisted of 42 patients who had received services in the past two months. The research involved two variables: variable X (public service quality) and variable Y (patient satisfaction). A simple random sampling technique was employed, involving 42 respondents. This research utilized a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and literature review. The data analysis techniques included validity and reliability tests using IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0. The results showed that public service quality has a significant influence on patient satisfaction at Barukku Public Health Center. Based on the recapitulation results, 60% of respondents rated the public service quality as "fairly good," and 55% rated their satisfaction level as "fairly good." Furthermore, the ANOVA test revealed an F-value of 21.974 with a significance level of 0.000, indicating a statistically significant effect, as the probability is far below 0.05. The partial test (t-test) showed a t-value of 5.580, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.021, confirming that public service quality has a significant influence on patient satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R square) was 62%, which suggests a moderate influence, while the remaining 38% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the public sector drives a paradigm shift from a traditional administrative approach towards a model oriented on the creation of public value. The concept of public value becomes a strategic framework that emphasizes the importance of legitimacy, performance, and community support in public service management. This study aims to examine how public service management can be reconceptualized in the digital era with an orientation towards public value creation. The method used is a qualitative literature review of recent national and international journals, including case studies such as e-Government services in Indonesia (Kusudiandaru & Umanto, 2024) and public transportation system management (Celia & Andono, 2023). The study results indicate that the integration of information technology, value-based management control systems, and stakeholder engagement are the main prerequisites for sustainable public value creation. This study concludes that public value is not only measured through bureaucratic output but also through public perception, participation, and trust in the service-providing institutions

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of community participation in road infrastructure development in Tana Toro Village. The location of this research was conducted in Tana Toro Village using a quantitative approach. The population and sample in the study were 85 Musrembang participants in Tata Toro Village. In data collection, the author used observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using frequency and percentage tables. The results of the study showed that the participation of the Tana Toro Village community in the construction of road infrastructure was good at 64.78% seen from the indicators of Manipulation 74.50%, Therapy 69.50%, Informing 63.50%, Consultation 65%, Placation 86.25%, Partnership 62.50%, Delegated Power 55% and Citizen Control 42% while the factors influencing community participation in the construction of road infrastructure in Tana Toro Village were in the less good category of 56.69% seen from the supporting factors, namely the awareness/willingness factor 63.75%, the influence of others 63%, and government support 70.50% while the inhibiting factors were low education levels 50% and low income 45.25%.

Abstract

. Women's empowerment is an important issue in socio-economic development, especially in rural areas that still face gender disparities. This study aims to analyze the government's strategy in empowering women in Carawali Village and identify the obstacles faced in its implementation. Using a qualitative approach with thematic analysis techniques assisted by NVivo software, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the strategies used by the village government include persuasive and cultural approaches through informal forums such as pengajian, arisan, dasawisma, skills training, cross-institutional cooperation, and the formation of study groups. This approach has proven effective in building trust and increasing women's participation, but still faces various obstacles such as feelings of inferiority, cultural pressure, limited funds, and a lack of professional trainers. NVivo analysis strengthens the finding that the persuasive approach is the most dominant strategy, while fear and limited resources are the main challenges. The success of women's empowerment in Carawali Village is highly dependent on the strategies used and the support of the surrounding social environment.

Abstract

This study is based on the importance of the role of libraries in supporting students' academic activities, especially in the digital era. The aim is to determine the perception of Public Administration students regarding access and quality of Tidar University Library services, both physically and digitally. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach and purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale. which includes aspects of staff friendliness, ease of borrowing, comfort of the reading room, and effectiveness of the online catalog. The results showed that most students were satisfied with the services provided, especially regarding the attitude of the staff and the efficiency of borrowing. Good access to physical and digital facilities also encourages the frequency of use of library services. These findings emphasize the importance of developing digital services to support the ever-growing academic needs. Libraries need to continue to innovate in order to create an inclusive and adaptive learning environment to technological advances.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the influence of employee performance on community satisfaction at the Potokullin Village Office, Buntu Batu District, Enrekang Regency. The research approach used is a descriptive quantitative method. The population in this study consisted of approximately 95 people from Potokullin Village. The sampling technique used was incidental sampling. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. The collected data was then processed and analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis techniques with the help of descriptive statistics using SPSS and a Likert scale. The results of the study show that employee performance at the Potokullin village office is categorized as fairly good, with the following percentage results: a) quality 47.2%, b) quantity 60.4%, c) task execution 61.8%, d) responsibility 55%, with an average percentage of 56.1%. Meanwhile, community satisfaction at the Potokullin village office is also categorized as fairly good, with the following percentage results: a) service procedures 63.4%, b) service requirements 59.2%, c) service speed 59.6%, d) service fairness 58.6%, with an average percentage of 60.2%. Factors linking employee performance to community satisfaction at the Potokullin village office include: a) ability 55%, b) personality and work interest 55%, c) clarity and acceptance of tasks 56%, d) level of work motivation 57.8%, e) competence 50.2%, f) work facilities 54.8%, g) work culture 55.2%, h) leadership 57.4%, i) work discipline 55%, with an average percentage of 55.15%.

Abstract

Poverty is a condition of economic inability to meet the average living standards of people in an area. Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) is assistance in the form of cash to underprivileged (poor) families in the Village which is sourced from Village funds to minimize poverty rates for poor people in meeting their daily needs. This research aims to determine the implementation of the Direct Cash Assistance Program for village funds in Batin Weh Pongas village, Bukit District, Bener Meriah Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Informants for this research include the Bener Meriah Regency Social Service, the Head of Batin Weh Pongas Village, families who receive direct cash assistance benefits, and related stakeholders. The research results show that the BLT program can be said to have not been effective as a whole. Thus, the BLT program has several problems, namely: 1. Accuracy in making choices, 2. Accuracy of targets, 3. Organizational Commitment. The recommendations formulated include the data collection process, consolidation and verification process, validation process and determination of periodic data collection results and involvement of stakeholders in preparing the BLT program so that it is maximally supervised. Abstract

Persoalan sampah sampai saat ini juga masih menjadi masalah bagi pemerintah kabupaten/kota. Untuk mengatasi masalah pengelolaan sampah, pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Pinrang telah menggunakan wewenangnya dengan menetapkan Peraturan Daerah Nomor 7 tahun 2013 tentang pengelolaan sampah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku masyarakat terhadap implementasi peraturan daerah tentang pengelolaan sampah di Kecamatan Watang Sawitto Kabupaten Pinrang dengan menggunakan teori perilaku masyarakat menurut Sarwono yang mencakup pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan, serta teori implementasi kebijakan menurut Edward III, yang mencakup komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi, dan struktur birokrasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kecamatan Watang Sawitto Kabupaten Pinrang dengan jumlah 100 sampel. Data yang diperoleh melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan studi kepustakaan, akan diolah menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistic 25. Hasil penelitian dari uji t menunjukkan bahwa t-hitung > t-tabel (7,127 > 1,661) yang artinya perilaku masyarakat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap implementasi peraturan daerah tentang pengelolaan sampah di Kecamatan Watang Sawitto Kabupaten Pinrang. Berdasarkan nilai R Square, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku masyarakat mempengaruhi implementasi peraturan daerah sebesar 34,1% sedangkan 65,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The increasing fiscal pressures faced by educational institutions have made the issue of higher education budget efficiency an important topic. Various student perspectives on the implementation of budget efficiency policies at Tidar University prompted this research. How students see the impact of the policy on important things in the academic environment, such as scholarships, learning facilities, scientific productivity, and student organization operations, is the purpose of this study. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach. The closed questionnaire instrument was distributed to students of class 2024 of the State Administration Study Program. The results showed that the majority of students assessed the efficiency policy as bringing more negative impacts, such as a decrease in scholarships and lecturer allowances, a decrease in student activities, and an increased possibility of increased education costs. In contrast, they support transparency and accountability in budget management and efficiency directed at reducing administrative costs. This research confirms that educational efficiency should not be used to reduce budgets but should be done in a way that is fair and benefits students. These results are important for policymakers to consider as they create budget policies that are not only cost-effective but also socially equitable and support sustainable access to higher education.
