Al-Mikraj: Jurnal Kajian Islam dan Humaniora Indonesia. Jurnal ini membahas tentang Studi Islam dan Humaniora. Ilmu sosial tersebut adalah sosiologi, antropologi, psikologi, pendidikan, ekonomi, dan politik. Sedangkan ilmu humaniora meliputi bahasa, linguistik, sastra, pendidikan, sejarah, hukum, filsafat, arkeologi, seni, dan ilmu sosial yang memiliki muatan humanistik.

Abstract

Social media creates a flow of positive and negative information. Negative content can impact juvenile delinquency, one of which is cyberbullying or indirect violence through social media that targets the victim's mental state. This study asks to what extent psychoeducation can improve adolescents' understanding of the impact and dangers of cyberbullying. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of psychoeducation on cyberbullying behavior in adolescents. This research method used a qualitative pre-test and post-test to measure the understanding of the material obtained by 32 adolescents. The results showed changes in the material, thinking, and knowledge of adolescents. After psychoeducation on cyberbullying behavior through the provision of psychoeducation can improve good behavior in adolescents.

Abstract

This study discusses uslub al-jinās in Surah al-Insyirah with a focus on the beauty of language and the meaning contained in it. Surah al-Insyirah is a Makkiyah surah that has a beautiful style of balaghah language and gives psychological and spiritual influences to readers. This study uses Tafsir al-Munir as the main reference in analyzing the form of al-jinās in the verses of the surah. The results of the study show that there are several forms of al-jināsthat describe the transition from difficulty to ease as the main theme of the surah. The use of words that have similar sounds but different meanings provides a strong language rhythm and emphasizes the message of optimism, fortitude, and peace of mind. In addition, the style of language shows the miracles of the Qur'an in terms of balaghah. This study uses a qualitative method with the approach of ma'nawi and balaghi interpretation. The results of the research are expected to contribute to the development of the study of the Qur'anic balaghah, especially related to uslub al-jinās in the Makkiyah surahs

Abstract

Kleptomania is a disorder of habit and impulse that drives sufferers to steal compulsively, not for economic motives. This condition creates significant legal complexities, particularly in applying criminal liability as regulated under Article 44 of the Criminal Code regarding grounds for exemption from punishment. This study aims to analyze law enforcement regarding theft crimes committed by kleptomaniacs in Indonesia and to identify obstacles encountered in the enforcement process. This research employs a normative legal method using statutory and case approaches, examining two court decisions: Decision Number 32/Pid.B/2018/PN Kpg and Decision Number 574/Pid.B/2019/PN.Dps. The results indicate inconsistency in law enforcement against theft perpetrators who suffer from kleptomania. The first decision adopted a rehabilitative approach by mandating psychiatric treatment, while the second was more retributive without a rehabilitation order. Identified obstacles include weak legal substance, complexity of clinical proof, stigma against mental disorders in legal culture, and philosophical tension between punishment and medical rehabilitation needs.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of childfree within Islamic family law, focusing on the balance between reproductive rights and the objectives of marriage based on maqasid al-shari’ah. Marriage in Islam serves multiple purposes, including spiritual fulfillment, social stability, and continuation of lineage. However, contemporary trends show a decline in fertility rates, including in Indonesia, where the Total Fertility Rate has approached 2.1. This shift reflects changing social values, economic pressures, and psychological considerations influencing reproductive decisions. Islamic law does not explicitly prohibit childfree choices, yet it strongly encourages procreation as part of preserving lineage. Through a normative legal approach supported by quantitative data, this study finds that childfree may be tolerated under specific conditions such as health risks, economic instability, or mental readiness. The analysis highlights the need to balance individual autonomy and collective welfare within the framework of Islamic legal principles.

Abstract

This research analyzes Kedai Kopi Masa Moeda Medan as a public sphere from the perspective of Jürgen Habermas's theory and Islamic tradition. The proliferation of contemporary coffee shops in Indonesia raises questions about their function as arenas for critical democratic discourse or merely spaces of consumerism. The research employs a qualitative approach with participatory observation and literature study to analyze physical characteristics, social activities, interaction patterns, and the quality of discourse. Findings reveal that Kedai Kopi Masa Moeda has ambivalent characteristics: discourses on political, economic, and social issues reflect elements of a critical public sphere, yet the space is dominated by entertainment and consumption activities with economic barriers excluding low-income groups and persons with disabilities. The research concludes that the coffee shop only partially fulfills Habermas's public sphere criteria, reflecting the refeudalization of public space from deliberative arena to consumption sphere. Comparative dialogue reveals convergence between Habermas and Islam in emphasizing rational discussion and common interest, yet divergence in secular versus religious orientation and the dimension of Islamic hospitality not accommodated in the Habermasian framework. The implication calls for a contextual Islamic public sphere concept for Indonesian Muslim society.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of school principals in improving educational quality based on the PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Action) cycle. The study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach through the analysis of scholarly books, reputable national and international journal articles, and educational policy documents relevant to school leadership and educational quality management.The findings indicate that school principals play a strategic role as planners, implementers, evaluators, and agents of change throughout each stage of the PDCA cycle. The Plan and Do stages serve as the foundation for the systematic planning and implementation of quality improvement programs, while the Check and Action stages ensure continuous evaluation and improvement. The implementation of the PDCA cycle, supported by visionary, participatory, and adaptive school leadership, has been proven to strengthen a culture of quality within schools and enhance the quality of educational processes and outcomes in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

A comfortable learning environment plays an important role in supporting the success of the learning process. A clean, safe, quiet, and conducive environment can improve students’ concentration, motivation, discipline, and learning outcomes. This article aims to describe the importance of a comfortable learning environment for students’ learning success. The method used in this study is a literature review by examining various scientific sources related to the learning environment. The results of the study indicate that both physical and social learning environments greatly influence students’ learning effectiveness. A supportive learning environment can create a pleasant learning atmosphere and encourage students to participate actively in the learning process. On the other hand, an uncomfortable environment, such as noisy classrooms, inadequate facilities, and poor social relationships, can hinder students’ concentration and reduce learning effectiveness. Therefore, cooperation between schools, teachers, parents, and the community is needed to create a comfortable and conducive learning environment so that learning objectives can be achieved optimally.

Abstract

Social vulnerability has become an increasingly complex phenomenon in contemporary society, characterized by poverty, social inequality, conflict, and the weakening of social solidarity. This study aims to examine the concept of social vulnerability from the perspective of hadith and to explore how prophetic teachings contribute to strengthening social stability. The research employs a library research method with a thematic hadith (maudhu‘i) approach. Data were collected from classical hadith collections as primary sources and supported by scholarly literature related to Islamic social ethics and social vulnerability. The collected hadith were analyzed through contextual analysis by considering their historical background and ethical implications. The findings show that prophetic teachings emphasize social solidarity, empathy, and communal responsibility as essential foundations for a stable society. Hadiths also highlight the importance of protecting vulnerable groups such as the poor, orphans, neighbors, and socially marginalized individuals. These teachings reflect broader ethical principles including social justice, economic fairness, and collective moral responsibility. The study concludes that prophetic ethics provides a normative framework that can contribute to addressing social vulnerability and promoting social stability in contemporary Muslim societies.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence in education has encouraged a shift in Islamic Religious Education from conventional instruction toward more interactive, adaptive, and digitally relevant learning experiences. Previous studies have mostly discussed digital media in general, but they have not specifically examined how AI functions as a learning medium to improve motivation in Islamic Religious Education. The research problem is how the use of AI as a learning medium can increase students’ motivation in Islamic Religious Education, and the objective is to analyze its forms of use and contribution to student engagement. The data were processed through library research by selecting, reading, classifying, and interpreting Indonesian-language journals and books published between 2020 and 2025. The findings show that AI can be used to design teaching materials, quizzes, chatbots, virtual tutors, moral case studies, and instant feedback that improve attention, confidence, independence, and learning participation. This study concludes that AI is effective as a supporting medium for learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education, but teacher guidance remains necessary to ensure alignment with Islamic values, academic ethics, and moral formation.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. This approach was chosen to gain a deep understanding of the use of technology in the Islamic education process, both from the perspective of educators, students, and other supporting systems. Data collection was carried out through several techniques as follows: Observation: to directly observe how technology is used in learning activities, in-depth interviews: conducted with teachers, students, and institutional managers to explore perceptions, experiences, and challenges in the use of technology and documentation in the form of photos, policy documents, lesson schedules, or digital-based learning materials used in Islamic education. The collected data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis technique, namely through three stages: Data reduction: filtering and summarizing important data from the results of observations and interviews. Data presentation: compiling data in the form of descriptive narratives or tables. The results of the study can be concluded that the use of technology in Islamic education has brought significant changes in the learning process, both in terms of methods, media, and accessibility of Islamic information. Technology is an effective means of supporting learning that is more interactive, flexible, and in accordance with the needs of the times.
