Abstract

Education is a vital aspect of life that requires effective management to achieve success. Educational personnel management, particularly in the context of Islamic Education, plays a strategic role in managing educational personnel to create an effective learning environment and support holistic student development. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach using a literature review method to elucidate the practices and strategies of educational personnel management in Islamic education. Findings indicate that workforce planning, recruitment, training, promotion, and evaluation are crucial aspects of educational personnel management. Effective management ensures that educators can manage learning by understanding student characteristics and utilizing appropriate methods and resources. Additionally, adaptation to changing student needs and the implementation of innovative educational technology are also critical components of educational personnel management in supporting effective learning. Thus, effective educational personnel management in Islamic Education institutions significantly impacts the quality of teaching and learning experiences and overall student development.

Abstract

Identification of the problem is that students are less focused on learning to understand the content of the reading. This research aims to describe the application of the Whole Language approach in improving students' reading skills in class IV Indonesian language lessons at SD Negeri 40 Lumpangan, Paj'ukukang District, Bantaeng Regency. This type of research is class action research (Class Action Research) which consists of two cycles where each cycle is carried out in four meetings. The focus of this research is 1) Reading comprehension skills and 2) Use of the Whole Language approach in class IV of SD Negeri 40 Lumpangan, Paj'ukukang District, Bantaeng Regency. Research procedures include planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were 20 class IV students. The collected data was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of this research are that there is an increase in student learning activities from cycle I to cycle II, student learning outcomes have increased, namely the average score of student learning outcomes in cycle I is 63, increasing in cycle II to 83. Students' reading comprehension and learning completion has also increased, where in cycle I, 8 (40%) students achieved learning completeness, while in cycle II 20 (100%) students achieved learning completeness and classical learning completion was achieved. This means that learning completeness in cycle II was achieved classically because the number of students who completed it was more than 80%. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the reading comprehension skills of class IV of SD Negeri 40 Lumpangan, Paj'ukukang District, Bantaeng Regency through the application of the Whole Language approach have increased.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dampak persepsi harga, kualitas pelayanan, dan lokasi terhadap kepuasan pelanggan di Toko Kelontong Mujinah. Melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dan analisis regresi linier berganda terhadap data dari 155 responden, hasil menunjukkan bahwa persepsi harga, kualitas pelayanan, dan lokasi secara signifikan mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan pelanggan. Persepsi harga memiliki kontribusi sebesar 29,70%, kualitas pelayanan 36,20%, dan lokasi 32,40% terhadap kepuasan pelanggan secara keseluruhan. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pemahaman mendalam tentang faktor-faktor ini dalam merumuskan strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan dan memperkuat posisi bisnis di pasar.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the estimated trend of mustard greens production and consumption in Bengkulu Province for the next 10 years 2022 - 2031. This research was conducted in Bengkulu Province using secondary data, with analysis using the least squares method. The results of this research show that the predicted trend in the estimated production of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) in Bengkulu Province in 2022 - 2031 shows a straight line movement from bottom left to top right, that mustard greens production tends to increase, with the average growth being 0.989 percent per year starting from the forecast year for mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) commodities in the next 10 year period for Bengkulu Province, the average growth is 0.989% per year, starting from 2022 amounting to around 32,782 tons, in 2023 amounting to around 32,839 tons, in 2024 amounting to around 32,897 tons, in 2025 totaling around 32,954 tons, in 2026 totaling around 33,012 tons, in 2027 totaling around 33,070 tons, in 2028 totaling around 33,120 tons, in 2029 totaling around 33,185 tons, in 2030 totaling around 33.24 tons, in 2031 amounting to around 33,305 tons. The estimated trend of consumption of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) in Indonesia in 2022 - 2031 shows a straight line movement from bottom left to top right, that consumption of mustard greens tends to increase, with an average growth of 1.144 percent per starting from 2022 amounting to around 1.65 tonnes, in 2023 amounting to around 1.66 tonnes, in 2024 amounting to around 1.68 tonnes, in 2025 amounting to around 1.69 tonnes, in 2026 amounting to around 1.7 tonnes, in 2027 amounting to around 1.72 tons, in 2028 amounting to around 1.73 tons, in 2029 amounting to around 1.74 tons, in 2030 amounting to around 1.75 tons, and in 2031 amounting to around 1.76 tons.

Abstract

Like a bird without wings, human could not live without language. Human used language as a tool to communicate with one another, and as a forum for realizing their identity in social life. In everyday life, human used several types of language choices in communicating, such as official or standard language used in formal conversation situations, informal language used in everyday casual communication, and slang which is only used by certain groups of people when they send information to each other. This type of language was spoken by language users in casual situations or in their own community exclusively. This research focused on the forms of slang that appeared in the songs sung by Chris Brown. The aims of this research were to identify and analyze the types of slang words used in several Chris Brown songs lyric, and to explain their meaning. This research method was descriptive qualitative. After analyzing the slang words contained in Chris Brown's song lyrics, there were 19 data points successfully gained which covered 2 copy reduplications, 4 clippings, 12 coinages, and 1 blending. This research provided information that there were several forms of slangs that were only found in the lyrics of Chris Brown's songs and used only by certain groups of people. This research could be the entry point for further research related to slang words by other researchers who are interested in similar research.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is that learning activities are still focused on the teacher, students lack focus in learning and often complain of being bored in learning, resulting in low communication skills in Indonesian language subjects. This research aims to determine the effect of the script type cooperative learning model on communication skills in class V Indonesian language subjects at UPTD SDN 178 Barru. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design research and is a quantitative type of research. The sample in this study was 10 students. Data collection techniques were carried out using learning results tests and observation sheets. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive data analysis technique and T-Test. The results of the research show that communication skills in Indonesian language subjects before implementing the script type cooperative learning model in the pretest with an average score of 67. Meanwhile in the posttest it increased with an average score of 83. Results of t-test analysis on the influence of the script type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of student participants showed that the significance value obtained was good, namely the influence of the script type cooperative learning model on communication skills in Indonesian language subjects (Sig = 0.012) was smaller than the alpha value set, namely 0.05 (0.012 < 0.05 ). Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted which states that there is an influence of the Script Type Cooperative Learning Model on Students' Communication Ability in Class V Indonesian Language Subjects at UPTD SDN 178 Barru

Abstract

In today's interconnected world, being skilled in English is incredibly important. It opens up better job opportunities, and wider educational options, and allows participation in the global community. Therefore, inspiring students to learn English is crucial to showing them how it relates to their everyday lives. This study aims to determine the effect of English subtitles of movies on the vocabulary development of 8th-grade students in SMP Negeri 2 Airmadidi. This study adopted a preliminary experiment method. Thirty-two students participated in this targeted study. Subtitled films served as a medium to improve students' vocabulary acquisition, and vocabulary tests served as research tools. Researchers collected data through pretests, treatments, and posttests. Data were statistically analyzed and quantitatively described using SPSS 22 Edition. This study found that the mean post-test score was higher than the pre-test score (5.69 < 8.43). Also, the value of t-count is greater than the value of t-table. The results of students' scores on the post-test were higher than those on the comparison test, demonstrating the effectiveness of the treatment in improving learners' vocabulary acquisition. In summary, the use of subtitled films significantly improves students' vocabulary acquisition. This study strongly highlights that others are imaginatively exploring the use of film for a variety of abilities.

Abstract

The study aims to explore the relationship between students' anxiety and perception of speaking performance in English class. Moreover, the research aimed to discover students' anxiety levels and perception of speaking performance in the English class. 57 students (male and female) were selected in the following way using convenience sampling. The students selected a 5-point Likert scale to answer two questionnaires from Horwitz et al. (1986), which was adapted from Nilsson (2019); and Asakereh and Dehghannezha (2015), which was adapted from Rahimi and Abedini (2009). According to the study's findings, students' anxiety and perception of their speaking performance in English classes are negatively related. Thus, it may be said that students’ performance in speaking English was negatively related to their anxiety.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the Ibn Sina Version of Islamic Education Patterns. This type of research is a library study. Data collection with documentation. Data analysis with SLR. The research results obtained are Ibn Sina's version of the Islamic education pattern emphasizes the integration of science and spirituality in the learning process. According to him, education must strengthen the mind and heart, as well as develop intellectual and moral skills. Ibn Sina emphasized the importance of holistic learning, where students not only master academic knowledge, but also gain a deep understanding of Islamic values and practical skills to apply them in everyday life.

Abstract

Final Assignment is a scientific work prepared by students in each state or private higher education institution, based on the results of research on a problem which is carried out carefully with the direction of the supervisor. This research examines student dishonesty in completing final assignments. In this case, honesty should be a principle that must be adhered to by students. However, until now, there is still the problem of student dishonesty. This research aims to determine the forms of academic honesty behavior when facing exams among students and what are the reasons underlying academic honesty and dishonesty behavior during exams among students. As information from the results of observations, interviews and documents that support this research. This research data analysis method consists of three steps using the Miles and Huberman model of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and validation. The results of this research. The results of this research need to know what factors cause the low level of honesty of students in completing final assignments and solutions and roles are needed by educational institutions in dealing with this problem in order to reduce the number of students who act dishonestly in writing scientific work.
