Abstract

Starting a conversation by using greeting forms was considered polite when two people met. Greeting was very significant and cannot be avoided in a conversation situation. Conversation that begun with a greeting can produce good conversation construction at the next stage. One language will differ from another one in expressing its forms of greeting which, of course, were influenced by different conditions and societal backgrounds. This research was aimed at identifying, analyzing, and describing the forms and uses of greetings by the supporting characters in the novel entitled The Prince and the Pauper written by Mark Twain. The qualitative descriptive method was chosen in carrying out the research to explain in detail the results of the analysis of the research subjects’ utterances. The primary data for this research were the forms of greeting aroused from the conversation situations between the supporting characters in this novel. The data that have been obtained were then reduced, displayed and analyzed by referring to various backgrounds of the conversations that occurred, e.g.: situation, social status, position, and identity of the characters by paying attention to the concept of greeting that was proposed by Susan M. Ervin-Tripp. The results of this research showed that the forms of greeting used by the supporting characters in this novel matched or complied with the concept of greeting explained by Susan M. Ervin-Tripp.

Abstract

Building communication between fellow humans was one of the ways to express one's identity. Built interactions can appear in various forms. One of the most commonly used forms of communication was conversation. In conversation, each person had different abilities. This ability was greatly influenced by several things, such as educational background, level of familiarity, purpose of conversation, and physical abilities of the parties involved. Regarding physical abilities, each person had advantages and disadvantages in interacting. One of the deficiencies that we often find was a person's inability to pronounce morphemes containing the phoneme /r/ so that sometimes the message to be conveyed cannot be understood properly by the person to whom the message was sent. This research was aimed at examining the problems faced by Klabat University students who suffer from slurred in pronouncing morphemes with the phoneme /r/, and what factors caused someone to suffer from slurred. The results of this study showed that people with slurred usually have experienced this problem since they were at an early age. Various efforts made to improve the ability of slurred sufferers to pronounce morphemes with the /r/ phoneme in them are known to have little effect in improving the sufferer's ability to pronounce this. Persecution which ultimately results in a decrease in learning achievement at school was also experienced by people with slurred.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is that learning activities are still focused on the teacher, students lack focus in learning and often complain of being bored in learning, resulting in low ability to write descriptive essays. This research aims to determine the effect of Mystery Box media on the ability to write descriptive essays for the IVUPTD SDN 32 Barru class. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design research and is a quantitative type of research. The sample in this study was 25 students. Data collection techniques were carried out using learning results tests and observation sheets. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive data analysis technique and T-Test. The research results showed that the ability to write descriptive essays before implementing the Mystery Box media in the pretest had an average score of 57. Meanwhile, in the posttest there was a change with an average score of 81. The results of the t-test analysis of the influence of the Mystery Box media on the learning outcomes of student participants showed that The result shows that the significance value obtained is good, namely the influence of the Mystery Box media on the ability to write descriptive essays (Sig = 0.013) is smaller than the alpha value set, namely 0.05 (0.019 < 0.03). Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, which states that there is an influence of the Mystery Box media on the ability to write descriptive essays of class IV students at UPTD SDN 32 Barru.

Abstract

The aim of writing this work is to try to describe and analyze the concept of Islamic education curriculum management. In literature review research on Islamic education curriculum management, the first step is to identify relevant theoretical sources, including books, journal articles and official documents. Data sources include scientific literature, documents related to management, as well as interviews with Islamic education experts and management practitioners. Data collection techniques include online literature searches, document studies, and interviews, while data analysis can be carried out qualitatively or descriptively. The result of this work is that the curriculum as a plan for all activities that support the achievement of educational goals still has an important role, at least in coloring the personality of students. Starting from covering educational curriculum management which plays a role, especially in Islamic education curriculum management. Islamic curriculum management plays a very important role in determining the success or failure of implementation and whether the curriculum is good or bad, which will influence educational outcomes. Curriculum management is related to planning, implementation, and evaluation or control of the curriculum. If you can see it as a whole, educators (teachers) will be able to understand to what extent the curriculum is able to build critical awareness of students or even not at all. Therefore, it is very necessary to understand the management of the Islamic education curriculum textually and contextually so that educators can apply the curriculum in learning, especially in learning Islamic Religious Education in educational institutions.

Abstract

This research was made by Law Protection needs based on Child Human Rights, which every child has right to gain a bright future. Also to review Law Protection for child who did a crime based on Constitutional Law. This research made to understand the legal protection provided to child who are involved in narcotics crime. Based on the description above, there is a problem formulation that is, what is the form of legal protection for children as perpetrators in the abuse of narcotics crimes. Then what are the factors inhibiting legal protection for children as narcotics abusers. The method used is normative juridical research method, that is research on secondary data. With this research done, there’s a hope about Law Protection for child who did a Criminal act have large area so it will become more effective and do preventive acts to prevent the same criminal act repeated and the similar act won’t be repeated and also it can grow up on handling a child as a criminal act to become better in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Investigating the Role of Interactive Activities in Enhancing Pre-Intermediate English Grammar Learning: A Qualitative Inquiry at Klabat University. The type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data display and conclusions. research results The qualitative inquiry conducted at Klabat University delves into the significant role of interactive activities in bolstering pre-intermediate English grammar learning. Through meticulous observation and analysis, it becomes evident that interactive activities not only engage learners actively in the learning process but also facilitate a deeper understanding and retention of grammatical concepts. By fostering collaborative learning environments and promoting meaningful interactions, these activities cater to diverse learning styles and encourage students to actively participate in their own language acquisition journey. Thus, integrating interactive activities into English grammar instruction proves instrumental in enhancing the overall learning experience and proficiency levels of pre-intermediate learners at Klabat University.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the number of Ismiyyah and Fi'liyyah in the interpretation of the Qur'an. This type of research is a literature review. Data collection with documentation. Data analysis with SLR. The results of the research are that in the interpretation of the Qur'an, the concepts of the number of ismiyyah and fi'liyyah have an important role in understanding the meaning of the holy verses. Dilalah amount ismiyyah refers to the signs of nouns in Arabic that indicate number, such as singular, double and plural, while dilalah number fi'liyyah refers to the signs of verbs that indicate forms of action or time. Understanding these two concepts helps deepen the interpretation of the Qur'anic text by considering the linguistic context and sentence structure. By paying attention to the number of ismiyyah and fi'liyyah, readers can interpret the verses of the Qur'an more carefully, understand the nuances of their meaning, and gain deeper insight into the teachings and messages contained in the Islamic holy book.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the Independent Learning Curriculum from the perspective of Islamic Education Objectives. This type of research is a literature review. Data collection with documentation. Data analysis with SLR. The results of the research are The Freedom to Learn Curriculum in the perspective of the goals of Islamic education outlines freedom to learn as the main foundation in achieving human perfection. The objectives of Islamic education included in the curriculum include the formation of noble morals, intellectual development, and mastery of knowledge that brings benefits to oneself and society. In addition, a holistic approach in teaching and learning is also emphasized, with an emphasis on integration between religious knowledge and general knowledge to create individuals who are balanced in spiritual, intellectual and social aspects. Thus, the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in the perspective of the objectives of Islamic education seeks to create a generation that is empowered, moral and broad-minded in accordance with the principles of Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the analysis of the collection of the Qur'an in various periods. This type of research is a literature study. Data collection with documentation. Data analysis with SLR. The results of the research are that analysis of the collection of the Al-Qur'an in various periods shows that the process of compiling this sacred Islamic text involved careful and systematically organized efforts. From the life of the Prophet Muhammad saw. Until the reign of Caliph Uthman bin Affan, various steps were taken to collect, verify and formalize the text of the Koran so that it remained authentic and not distorted. In the early days, collecting was done orally and in writing, with particular attention to memorization and personal notes. Then, during the time of Caliph Uthman, standardization of the Koranic text and mass reproduction were carried out to ensure uniformity and continuity. This analysis confirms that the collection of the Qur'an was a well-planned and maintained process, ensuring the continuity and authenticity of Islamic teachings

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui komposisi dan struktur vegetasi di KHDTK UNTAD dengan ukuran plot (100x100) yang terdiri dari 16 sub plot dengan ukuran 25m x 25m. Masing-masing petak ukur tersebut dibuat 3 sub-plot berbentuk lingkaran. Dengan demikian pada masing-masing petak ukur terdapat 1 sub-plot berbentuk bujur sangkar dan 3 sub-plot berbentuk lingkaran. Ukuran sub-plot untuk pengukuran tumbuhan berkayu yaitu Lingkaran - Radius 1 meter (0 – 1 m) untuk semai, Lingkaran - Radius 2 meter (0 – 2 m) untuk pancang, Lingkaran - Radius 5 meter (0 – 5 m) untuk tiang dan petak ukur – Bujur sangkar (25 x 25 m) untuk pohon. Hasil penelitian diperoleh struktur vegetasi yang mendominasi adalah jenis Kaili (Dracontomelon dao Merr) 26 pohon, Volume terbesar jenis Surem (Toona sureni) dengan 52,521 m³. Komposisi vegetasi yaitu Amara (Diospyros sp), Cempaka (Magnolia champaca), Kayu Batu (Maranthes corymbose), Bayur (Pterospermum. Sp), Dara-dara (Casuarina junghuniana), Finjalu (Calophyllum), Jambu hutan (Psidium guajava), Kaili (Dracontomelon dao Merr) Karoho (Parinari corymbosa Miq.) , Leda (Eucalyptus deglupta), Malapoga (Toona ciliate), Pangi (Pangium edule), Poli (Lithocarpus celebicus), Saponi (Duabanga moluccana), Tea (Artocarpus teysmanii), Kume (Palaquium sp), Surem (Toona sureni), Eboni (Diospyros celebica), Pala hutan (Myristica fragrans) dan Lotu (Aglaia sp). Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) tingkat pohon tertinggi terdapat pada jenis Surem (Toona sureni) 40,96% sedangkan INP terendah terdapat pada jenis Dara-dara (Casuarina junghuniana) 2,25%, Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) tingkat tiang tertinggi terdapat pada jenis Finjalu (Calophyllum) 59,71% sedangkan INP terendah terdapat pada jenis Lotu (Aglaia sp) 4,95%, Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) tingkat pancang tertinggi terdapat pada jenis Finjalu (Calophyllum) 32,75% sedangkan INP terendah terdapat pada jenis Bayur (Pterospermum. sp) dan Surem (Toona sureni) 5,70%, Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) tingkat semai tertinggi terdapat pada jenis Amara (Diospyros sp) yaitu 49,72% sedangkan INP terendah terdapat pada jenis Malapoga (Toona ciliate) yaitu 9,52%.
