Abstract

The criminal act of gambling in Indonesia is regulated in the Criminal Code (KUHP) Article 303 and the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE) Article 27 paragraph (2) which can generally be applied to online gambling players even if the person concerned does not gambling as a livelihood, but in practice law enforcement is more targeted at online gambling organizers and is not yet optimal for ensnaring online gambling players at the individual level so that weak law enforcement against online gambling players has the potential to give rise to legal uncertainty, so this research is a type of normative legal research or literature research that carried out by examining theories, concepts, legal principles and statutory regulations related to the urgency of criminal regulation of online gambling players in fulfilling the principle of legal certainty through a statutory approach and a conceptual approach with primary legal material sources, the Criminal Code and the Law. ITE as well as secondary legal materials in the form of books, scientific journals, articles, literature related to this topic which are collected through literature studies and analyzed deductively so that they can provide prescriptions for criminal regulations for online gambling players who must guarantee the law. certainty in order to protect the public from the increasing dangers of widespread online gambling.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to examine the impact of behavioural biases (herding, mental accounting, and regret averson) on investment decisions. The authors further examine the moderation effect of financial literacy in the relationship between behaviour biases and investment decisions. The study considered a cross-sectional research design. For this survey, the data have been collected through a structured questionnaire from 215 government officials of BPK RI. To analyse the validity and reliability, the Pearson correlation and Cronbach’s alpha test have been taken into account respectively. For testing the hypothesis, hierarchical regression analysis has been used in the study. The results of the study reveal that research results also show that bias herding, mental accounting, and regrets on investment decisions have a positive and significant influence. Meanwhile, financial literacy on investment decisions has a negative and significant influence. Furthermore, herding bias is moderated by financial literacy on investment decisions and has a positive and significant influence. Meanwhile, mental accounting bias and regret aversion are moderated by financial literacy on investment decisions and have a negative and significant influence. Based on this present research finding, the study is more productive for the government officials and policymakers at the time of making an investment portfolio for the government officials based on their behavioural biases. The study recommends that investors need training programmes, workshops and seminars that enhance financial literacy and financial knowledge of government officials which helps them to overcome behavioural biases while making an investment decision. The current study aims to explore whether several behavioural biases can affect investment decisions. Moreover, the authors would like to examine whether these associations are moderated by financial literacy. In this sense, financial literacy might also play a substantial part in the prediction of investments. The current study might be of the first study that examines the moderation effect financial literacy amongst male and female investors.

The quantitative method was employed with a population of 190 ASN employees, and a sample of 127 ASN. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique. The research findings indicate a positive and significant influence of Effectiveness, TPP, Work Motivation, and Work Discipline on the performance of ASN in the Medan City Health Service. Additionally, there is a positive and significant impact of Effectiveness, TPP, and Work Motivation on the performance of ASN moderated by Work Discipline. The conclusion drawn from this research is that Work Discipline has the most significant influence on the performance of ASN, while TPP has the least impact. Recommendations involve enhancing focus on developing Work Discipline to significantly improve employee performance. Despite TPP having the smallest impact, strategic considerations are still necessary in incentive management to maintain employee motivation.

The research results show that Regional Regulation number 6 of 2009 concerning Livestock Control has made a positive contribution in reducing the number of wild livestock. However, its implementation still faces several obstacles. The government's consistency in law enforcement needs to be improved, resource support, especially in terms of finance, is still lacking, and public awareness in the Bungku Tengah District area needs to be increased. In implementing livestock control policies, it is necessary to increase government consistency, increase resource support, and increase public awareness. Without optimal handling of these obstacles, livestock control cannot be implemented effectively.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there is still a lot of unproductive agricultural land in West Java, even though the agricultural sector contributes a lot to the community's economy. There needs to be an effort to involve various components of society, especially Islamic boarding schools, in increasing the productivity of agricultural land through cooperation using the muzâra'ah system involving many parties to improve the welfare of farmers and Islamic boarding schools. The aim of this research is to analyze and discover land management practices, cooperation models, and the impact of agricultural cooperation on the welfare of farmers in West Java. This research is field research using a qualitative approach. The research results show that, First, agricultural land management practices in West Java are collaborated with various parties, both internal Islamic boarding schools such as students, teachers and administrators as well as with the surrounding farming community. The two Islamic boarding school agricultural collaborations with the muzâra'ah system in West Java were expanded in scope, not just farmers and landowners, but there were elements of academics, government, the business world, financial institutions, markets and non-governmental organizations. Islamic boarding schools innovate agricultural cooperation with the quintuple helix model using multi contracts, namely connecting these parties to optimize the agricultural business being collaborated. Islamic boarding schools also build aspects of farmers' spirituality through guidance on the application of religious values in agricultural cooperation. Third, Islamic boarding school agricultural cooperation is able to absorb agricultural labor, so that farmers are able to improve their economy, have permanent jobs and increase their religious understanding and practice.
