Abstract

Raising school-aged children is one of the challenging tasks for mothers, so if a mother is unable to cope with these challenges, she is vulnerable to experiencing parenting stress. This is also felt by housewives in SD X Cianjur City who accompanied their children aged 6-8 years old. In addition to having to accompany children to optimally study, because this age is a stage of transition from learning by playing to a more academic learning period, mothers also have regular domestic tasks that have to be done. These tasks cause mothers to be careless and prone to stress. The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical data on the causality of mindful parenting on parenting stress in distance learning. This study had 78 participants, and the measuring instrument used to measure mindful parenting was Mindfulness in Parenting Scale (MIPQ) with 0.937 reliability. As for measuring parenting stress, the researchers used the Parental Stress Scale (PSS) with 0.965 reliability. The researcher used a simple linear regression test statistical technique with a regression coefficient of -.628 and a determination coefficient of 68.2%. These results show that if the mother has low mindful parenting behavior, it will cause high parenting stress.

Abstract

The concept of authority plays a pivotal role in the context of civil law, particularly in delineating the powers and responsibilities vested in legal subjects through statutory provisions. This research explores the nuanced distinctions between "authority" and "competence," asserting that authority in civil law is a formal power granted by legislation, whereas competence refers to the scope and nature of the duties assigned. The study adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing descriptive analysis to investigate the legal foundations and implications of authority, particularly its attribution, delegation, and mandate in the legal system. The findings emphasize the complex interplay between state sovereignty and civil law, illustrating how authority functions within legal relationships and its relevance in ensuring accountability. This paper further examines how civil law governs the delegation of authority, its implications for legal subjects, and the underlying principles that guide such delegation. Ultimately, this research contributes to the broader discourse on authority in civil law, highlighting the essential role of legal frameworks in governing power delegation while maintaining legal order and justice.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of bureaucratic reform and its impact on public service transparency in Indonesia. Through a qualitative approach with a literature review, this study found that bureaucratic reforms carried out through organisational restructuring, simplification of procedures, strengthening human resources, and the use of information technology have encouraged the creation of more open and accountable public services. The digitisation of services and the public complaints system expanded public access to information and increased participation in service oversight. The results show that public service transparency has improved significantly, although challenges remain in terms of apparatus resistance and infrastructure limitations. Thus, bureaucratic reform plays an important role in realising governance that is transparent, efficient and responsive to the needs of society.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of moral education in the view of Yunahar Ilyas and its relevance in Indonesia. Moral education is an integral part of Islamic teachings, occupying a special and very important position, as evidenced by the many verses of the Qur'an and the hadith of the Prophet that discuss it. The concept of morality itself etymologically means character, temperament, behavior, or nature, which regulates human relations with God, others, and the universe. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, collecting data from written materials such as books, journals, and articles, with the book "Kuliah Akhlaq" by Yunahar Ilyas as the primary data source. The results of the study show that Yunahar Ilyas places moral education as a fundamental foundation that does not grow by itself, but requires coaching, training, and hard work. This view is very relevant considering the degradation of morality in today's young generation, which requires educational institutions to conduct introspection and change in order to instill good moral and ethical values. Moral education, according to Yunahar Ilyas, is the foundation of true happiness in this world and the hereafter and is crucial to overcoming the moral crisis and forming a generation of integrity. This confirms the contribution of Yunahar Ilyas' thoughts in the context of moral education in Indonesia, which seeks to produce principles and truths according to the teachings of the Qur'an and as-sunnah.

Abstract

This study aims to understand journalists' perceptions of the journalist competency test set by the Press Council as a standard of professionalism in the Indonesian press. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, this study involved five journalists in East Java, comprising three certified journalists and two who declined to participate in the competency test process. The data collected was analyzed using NVivo 15 software. The results showed that some journalists perceived the competency test as an administrative formality that did not guarantee competence and professionalism. The competency test also has no impact on their careers or welfare. However, informants stated that if carried out consistently and professionally, the competency test has the potential to fence press freedom from unethical practices and strengthen journalistic quality. This research also emphasizes the importance of revamping regulations and maintaining the Press Council in the implementation of journalist competency tests.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the financial sector encourages the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in early warning systems to improve the effectiveness of risk detection and mitigation. This study aims to identify and analyse the challenges and opportunities of AI implementation in the financial sector early warning system through the literature review method. The results show that AI offers great opportunities in improving fraud detection accuracy, operational efficiency, service personalisation, and data-driven decision making. However, AI implementation also faces significant challenges, such as data quality and security issues, risk of algorithm bias, limited human resources, and the need for adaptive regulation and governance. Optimising these opportunities and mitigating these challenges requires a comprehensive strategy that includes strengthening data governance, improving cybersecurity, developing human resources, and collaborating with regulators. With the right approach, AI can be a key foundation in strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of the financial sector in the digital era.

Abstract

The growth of the gig economy in Indonesia has triggered significant transformations in the traditional labour structure. This study aims to analyse the impact of the gig economy on workers' employment patterns, income, and social protection using a literature review method. The results of the analysis show that the gig economy offers flexibility and new employment opportunities but also increases income uncertainty and widens the social protection gap between gig and traditional workers. In addition, there is a skills disruption that requires increased digital literacy and worker adaptability. This research recommends the need for labour regulation reform, strengthening portable social security systems, and expanding access to digital training so that the gig economy can provide inclusive and sustainable benefits for the entire Indonesian workforce.
