Abstract

Moral education is an important aspect in educational purpose. It is related to the increasing and varied phenomenon of moral decadence that occurs in our society and in government circles. Moral education is the right answer to these problems and Islamic boarding schools are a place for Islamic religious education, especially to build a good character and moral values in children. In Islamic teachings, moral education is a process of shaping good morals, personality and character, who is responsible for the tasks that Allah has given in order to carry out His commands and obey His prohibitions. In this study the authors conducted a study at a boarding school located in Cibinong, Kab. Bogor which named Tazkiyatunnufus Islamic boarding school. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of moral education for students at the Tazkiyatunnufus Islamic boarding school and to understand the various processes of implementing moral education in the Tazkiyatunnufus Islamic boarding school. The method used in this research is a qualitative method of the type of field study (field study). The process of implementing moral education at the Tazkiyatunnufus Islamic boarding school uses a variety of methods, namely through diniyah, story telling, muthola’ah, giving good examples, and through reward and punishment. Abstract

Indonesia Nation is a great nation, the greatness of the State of Indonesia is not only it can be seen from the population and geographical location as well as adequate natural resources, but more than that, the ethnic groups that inhabit this archipelago are quite diverse as well as the language used is also very diverse besides that diversity can also be seen from traditional houses or houses, agricultural tools , weapons used, staple foods eaten in daily life, skin color and so on. Islamic teachings are teachings that really respect the differences and diversity of views of Islamic moderation as Islam that is rahmatan lil alamin actually indirectly teaches its people to have the virtues of mutual respect for diversity and differences. Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts to improve teacher performance through a study of the direct influence of the variables of empowerment, transformational leadership and trust. This study uses a survey method with a path analysis approach followed by SITOREM analysis. The results of this study conclude that: (1) There is a direct influence of empowerment on teacher performance with a value of Y1 = 0.342., (2) There is a direct influence of transformational leadership on teacher performance with a value of X3 = 0.126., (3) There is a direct effect of trust on performance teachers with a value of X3 = 0.175., (4) There is a direct influence of empowerment on trust with a value of X31 = 0.159., (5) There is a direct influence of transformational leadership on trust with a value of X32 = 0.212,. The results of the SITOREM analysis show that the indicators that are still weak and need to be improved are; 1) competency building, 2) organizational support, 3) communication between subordinates and superiors, 4) flexibility in working. 4) ideal influence, 5) inspiring motivation, 6) intellectual stimulation, 7) individual attention, 8) partnership strength, 9) ready to accept risk and 10) trust in the expertise possessed.  Keywords: empowerment, transformational leadership, trust, teacher performance.

Abstract

In the world of education the meaning of "competence" is then translated as a set of knowledge, skills and behaviors that must be possessed, internalized and controlled by a teacher or lecturer in carrying out professional duties. Competence can also be interpreted as knowledge, skills and basic values ​​that are reflected in the habits of thinking and acting. Thus, the competencies possessed by each teacher will show the true quality of teachers. In law number 14 of 2005 concerning teachers and lecturers it is stated that teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing and evaluating. students in early childhood education, formal education, primary and secondary education. Teachers as professional educators must have abilities that are not possessed by other professional positions related to what competencies are possessed by teachers. A teacher is required to have academic qualifications, competencies, and educator certificates as formal evidence that the educator has the expected skills. In Islamic education the term teacher is referred to as Ustadz, Mu'allim, Murabbî, Mursyîd, Mudarris, Muaddib where for a long time the scholars have determined teacher competencies which include physical requirements (good body shape; sweet face/beautiful; wide forehead; and his forehead was open from his hair. -clean-faced-).and . Abstract

This study aims to increase enthusiasm in learning the Qur'an through the Talaqqi Method. The problem of this study aims to determine how much influence the learning method using the Talaqqi Method has in reading the Qur'an in a case study of class A Tahsin Pondok Pesantren Al- Qur'an Nurul Furqon Cibinong Bogor. The population in this study were students of the Al-Qur'an Nurul Furqon Islamic boarding school for the 2021 academic year, but only 29 people were sampled in class A Tahsin Al-Qur'an Pondok Pesantren Nurul Furqon. The results of the description analysis revealed that the effect of the Talaqqi method was on a strong result (Mean 40.71%) and the value of the students' reading ability of the Qur'an was (59.29%) while the correlation was 0.77% which lies between 0.78% is included in the strong category. The results of the coefficient of determination show that the Talaqqi Method has an impact on the ability to read the Qur'an by 59.29% and the remaining 40.71% is influenced by other factors not examined. These results reveal a positive influence on students' proficiency in reading the Qur'an. Thus, the results of this study can be concluded that the Talaqqi Method is quite good for proficiency in reading the Qur'an. Abstract

Morals are the main goal and barometer of educational success, therefore Islamic Boarding Schools pay so much attention to and play an active role in shaping the character and noble character of students, one of the methods used by Islamic Boarding Schools in shaping morals is to teach the traditional Islamic book (kitab kuning), the goal of this research The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning the traditional Islamic book (kitab kuning) on the morals of female students at the Al-Madinah Integrated Islamic Boarding School Jonggol Bogor. In this study the author uses two forms of research methods, the first is library research, in this study the author tries to examine books and other scientific writings related to the material of the influence of the traditional Islamic book (kitab kuning) on morals discussed in this study, the second field research, namely the researchers directly involved to the field. In this study, it was concluded that the coefficient of the relationship between the influence of the Traditional Islamic book (kitab kuning) Learning and the morals of female students obtained a value of 0.623 and the rtable value (rt) for N = 32 at the 5% significance level was 0.361 and at the 1% significance level was 0.463. So learning the traditional Islamic book (kitab kuning) has a very strong influence on the morals of female students at the Al-Madinah Integrated Islamic Boarding School, Jonggol Bogor. Abstract

Kajian ini mencoba menelusuri bagaimana pandangan orientalis terhadap Hadis dari studi yang mereka lakukan. Dalam konteks ini akan diangkat pandangan beberapa tokoh yang dianggap sebagai orientalis Hadis generasi awal; Aloys Sprenger, William Muir, Ignaz Goldziher, Joseph Schacht dan William Montgomery Watt. Dalam hal ini bisa dilihat bahwa kajian Hadis dikalangan orientalis menghasilkan banyak teori, khususnya teori pembuktian otentisitas Hadis melalu kritik sanad. Meskipun pandangan mereka menuai banyak hujatan dan kritikan dari umat Islam, namun paling tidak, kajian mereka telah memberi warna baru dalam kajian Hadis dan membuka “rangsangan” akademik agar kajian Hadis terus digalakan oleh para sarjana Muslim.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the multicultural attitudes of Madrasah students, to find out whether there is a difference between the multicultural attitudes of students and students in the madrasa, the operational goal is to know what values ​​according to students cannot be implemented properly so that educators are able to provide a stimulus to implementation of these attitudes, functional purpose is for educators to have a reference in the development of multicultural values. The rumors of this research problem are How to Implement Multicultural Attitudes in Madrasah Tsanawiyah students?, Are there differences in multicultural attitudes between students in Madrasahs? The findings of this study are that the average multicultural attitude of madrasah students is very agreeable or very good, this needs to be raised and maintained in the learning process that is related to multicultural values. There is a difference in percentage between male and female students in addressing multicultural attitudes. Abstract

Universities are required to have lecturers who are competent and have good performance. The role of the lecturer is crucial to the success of the Vision, Mission and Goals of the Higher Education. Universities expect their lecturers to have better performance, be more process oriented, more involved in leadership, and more capable in knowledge and competence so as to provide added value to the Higher Education which in the end the Higher Education has competitiveness with other universities. Richard S Wellins (2015:525) argues that engagement is when employees enjoy their work, are satisfied with their work conditions, contribute enthusiastically to meet team targets, organizational goals, and there is a sense of belonging to the company, and are committed to the organization. Gibson et al (2006: 113-117) stated that personality is a relatively stable set of characteristics, tendencies, and temperaments (of individuals) that have been formulated by inheritance and by social, cultural, and environmental factors. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between personality and engagement. Based on the results of the research by testing the hypothesis, it is known that the correlation coefficient between personality and engagement (ry1) is 0.995 with the category having a very high/very strong relationship. The probability value is 0.000 < 0.005, then Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that the correlation coefficient is significant. Thus, this study confirms that there is a significant relationship between personality and engagement. The diversity in engagement related to personality is reflected in the coefficient of determination of 0.990 or 99.0%, while the remaining 1.0% is influenced by other factors. The results of this study get the equation = -13.659 + 1.047 X1 can be used to predict engagement based on personality scores, it can be predicted that every 1 increase in personality score will increase engagement by 1.047 times at a constant -13,659. Abstract

Every institution or institution certainly expects quality education, and everyone will certainly prefer to study or send their children to school in an institution that has good quality. Therefore, schools/educational institutions must be able to provide good service and quality to customers in order to be able to compete with other educational institutions. From various views, the indicators that the author can take are that quality education can be improved if the school has (1) students, 2) effective principal leadership, 3) good teacher performance, 4) relevant curriculum, 5) quality graduates, 6) an effective organizational culture and climate) 7) support from various parties (from the government, the community and parents of students), 8) Infrastructure that supports the learning process. management in improving the quality of education is a solution for efforts to realize the quality of education/quality education.
