Abstract

The education system is required to be able to produce maximum output by carrying out an effective process that is continuous between input, process and output as desired with a better governance system or known as school-based management, where SBM expects schools to be more independent and able to freely develop and improve the quality of performance. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of school management at SMP Al Azhar Syifa Budi Legenda by using a balanced scorecard performance measurement with four perspectives, namely a financial perspective, a customer perspective, an internal business process perspective and a growth and learning perspective. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Primary data in the form of a questionnaire is used to measure the performance of the customer perspective and the perspective of growth and learning. In terms of performance, SMP Al Azhar Syifa Budi Legenda as a whole is in the good category. The results of measuring the performance analysis of the balanced scorecard on a financial perspective at SMP Al Azhar Syifa Budi Legenda show good performance and show financial performance that is economical, effective and quite efficient. The measurement results of performance analysis on the customer perspective show a pretty good performance. Keywords: Effectiveness, MBS, Balanced Scorecard

Abstract

A good educational institution must be managed well. One form of management that must be owned by an educational institution is supervisory management. This serves to control the performance of personnel in an institution. However, due to human limitations as leaders who are entrusted with carrying out supervision, sometimes the guidelines and nature of supervision are separated. In this case, Islam answers the question; Islam teaches and gives instructions regarding supervision. In this paper, we will discuss Islamic-based supervisory management. This research contains 0 types of library research, namely activities to study something whose research is not only from one document but also seeks other sources that support the in-depth research that scientists conduct. According to the findings of this study, supervision in Islam is a control that is intended to maintain benefit and avoid damage and has characteristics such as being material and spiritual, monitoring, and employing humane methods that uphold human dignity. In Islam, the purpose of supervising is to control and correct someone to prevent them from falling into something that is wrong. This is in accordance with the principles of supervisory management in Islam, which consist of three points, namely: tawaşawbil aqqi (advising each other on the basis of truth and clear norms), tawaşaw bis şabri (advising each other on the basis of patience), and tawaşawbil marhamah (advising each other on the basis of affection).

Abstract

Today, Western civilization, which is based on secularism and materialism, has brought the world to the brink of collapse. The theory of science that is developing at this time shows that there has been a divorce between science and religion. With various scientific discoveries and the spirit of modern progress, religion in the West is no longer related to science. In this study, the author will review Islamic criticism of western science according to Hossein Nasr and Naquib Al-Attas. In writing this journal, the authors used the method of library research, then analyzed it using the method of content analysis, namely, descriptive-analytical analysis, by collecting data from literature related to the discussion of Islamic criticism of western science, according to Hossein Nasr and Naqib Al-Attas. In the results of this study, Nasr argued that his criticism of modernity was first carried out by exploring or tracing the history of Western science. Western science is the main component that supports the growth of modernity. In fact, Western science has lost its transcendental reference due to the separation between science and theology, or religion. Meanwhile, Al-Attas said that the problem of modern science is a problem resulting from secularization. Religion and all metaphysical aspects that govern human reason and language have been eradicated by secularization.Al-Attas emphasized that, in essence, secularism is a statement from a worldview that is un-Islamic, even contrary to Islamic teachings. Therefore, Islam completely rejects any application of the concept of secularism. Only with true faith and knowledge will the Muslims be able to build a glorious Islamic civilization, as demonstrated at the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and the great scholars of the past.

Abstract

In this modern era, parents feel that parents face enormous challenges in family education. This is related to the rapid flow of globalization and the rapid pace of information and communication technology. The rapid flow of information and communication makes our children need a very, very strong filter. for himself, therefore the family today needs an educational model that is used to rearrange the pattern of education in the family in order to face the great challenges of this globalization. This research contains types of library research; the approach used in this research is an interpretive approach; the methods that will be used in this research are thematic methods, namely collecting verses of the Qur'an, which have the intent to discuss the family of the Prophet Ibrahim. Prophet Ibrahim's family education model employs two methods for educating his son: educational materials and educational methods. Educational materials include monotheism education and moral education, and Prophet Ibrahim always prayed for his son to become a pious child, as he does in Surah As-Shaffat verse 1 .

Abstract

The quality of teacher service is very important in educational organizations to achieve the stated goals. Early childhood education is very important, fundamental, and strategic in building human resources and preparing a qualified generation of the nation, so it must be implemented as well as possible. Kindergarten teachers must be well prepared in order to provide quality services. Based on the above background, this study aims to look at and find efforts and strategies that can be used to improve the quality of teacher services through strengthening professional competence, personality, and job satisfaction for Kindergarten teachers in Bogor City. This research uses correlational research method, the research is conducted using quantitative methods and data collection is carried out through a questionnaire. then explained by statistical analysis and analyzed by regression analysis. The study population was 298 private Kindergarten teachers with A accreditation in Bogor City. The research sample of 171 respondents was determined by the Slovin formula, selected using proportional random sampling method. The results of quantitative research found that professional competence that emphasizes the ability to develop teaching materials, learning approaches, and developing teaching materials can improve teacher quality. Personality that emphasizes awareness, friendliness, emotional stability, openness to experience, extraversion can improve the quality of teacher services. Job satisfaction that emphasizes salary, employment, promotion opportunities, supervisors, colleagues can improve the quality of teacher service. Based on this research, the stronger the professional service competence, personality, and job satisfaction, the higher the teacher quality. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between professional competence and the quality of teacher services with the coefficient of determination r2y1 = 0.417. There is a positive and significant relationship between personality and service quality with the coefficient of determination r2y2 = 0.515. There is a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and service quality with the coefficient of determination r2y3 = 0.463. This shows that the quality of teacher services can be improved by increasing professional competence, personality, and job satisfaction. The results of the SITOREM analysis on professional competence, personality, job satisfaction and teacher service quality show that there are indicators that are priority to be improved, namely: emotional stability, agreeableness, extraversion, pay, job, promotion opportunities, supervisors, designing learning approaches, developing teaching materials, develop professionalism, responsiveness. The indicators that need to be maintained are: openness to experience, conscientiousness, co-workers, reliability, tangibles, assurance, and empathy. Abstract

Truth is an eternal question for humans in every basic age; truth is that which exists or does not exist. Truth is only possible when something exists. The truth is very important, but the issue of the truth is very relative, because maybe today it is true, but tomorrow it may not be true. Therefore, in finding the truth, this paper will reveal the criteria for determining that everything that exists can be categorized as true. closely related to the qualitative approach. The descriptive analytic method is an as-is description that comes from a place or character who is the perpetrator of an event; it can also come from a character whose thoughts are involved by collecting data from literature related to discussions about the meaning, theory, and nature of scientific truth. The results of this study are: The meaning of scientific truth is a state that is correct, in accordance with things or conditions that actually exist and really exist, and is true if these truths are the truths taught by religion. Theories of truth consist of correspondence theory, coherence theory, pragmatic theory, and performative theory. The nature of scientific truth consists of three characteristics, namely: a rational and logical structure, which is empirical, and the last is pragmatic.

Abstract

in the beginning, phenomenology was a philosophy popularized by Edmund Husserl. Phenomenology essentially teaches people to interact and learn more about phenomena so that observers can capture their meaning and essence. Phenomenology is currently being developed as a fundamental research method based on understanding the uniqueness of people and their subjective experiences. Phenomena experienced by people consciously are analyzed using two descriptions: textual descriptions and biblical descriptions. This article attempts to explore how phenomenological research projects are created.

Abstract

Prinsip Dasar Palang Merah Indonesia dalam Perspektif Pendidikan Islam penting untuk di analisis karena ada beberapa kesamaan dengan prinsip pendidikan Islam, Tujuan Pendidikan Agama Islam yang berlandaskan al-Quran dan al-Hadits bukan hanya menciptakan manusia yang cerdas, mampu bersaing dalam pasar global, juga menciptakan manusia yang berakhlak dan beradab, juga tanggap terhadap situasi dan kondisi yang berkembang di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih jauh secara konseptual mengenai Prinsip Dasar Palang Merah Indonesia dalam Perspektif Pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yakni analisis data dan interpretasi atas objek kajian, dan menggunakan deskriptif analitis yang berisi analisis dan interpretasi tentang arti data dan representasi obyektif terhadap fenomena yang di tanggap. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah 1)Islam adalah agama yang sangat menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kemanusiaan sebagaimana di sebutan dalam Q.S al-Hujurat/49:13. 2)PMI (Palang Merah Indonesia) merupakan satu-satunya organisasi kepalang merahan yang dijalankan sesuai dengan UU (Undang-Undang) No 1 tahun 2018,. 4)PMI memiliki peran dalam mendukung pendidikan di Indonesia, khususnya dalam hal kesehatan dan kesejahteraan sosial. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan cara meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya kesehatan dan kesejahteraan, serta memberikan bantuan dan dukungan kepada mereka yang membutuhkan.

Abstract

In an increasingly modern era, the development of English can be carried out by utilizing technological developments to upgrade English skills, one of which is by using music in the form of songs, as a medium for developing English. The song is an art without boundaries that is very enjoyable and is able to make someone express feelings, and convey their message. Songs can be listened to by using several media such as audio media and audiovisual media. Audio media is media in the form of sounds or sounds that can only be heard (auditory) so this media is called listening media and audiovisual media is media that can be seen and heard. Even though using media such as audio and audiovisual there are indicators in choosing a song, namely choosing the right song, choosing the song we like by genre, looking for song lyrics, finding out unfamiliar vocabulary, and singing the song again after understanding and learning the vocabulary in the song. With that, it will make it easier to understand English through songs. Then, the material object is to use audio-visual media, namely the Joox song application and YouTube media with a song called "See You Again". and the object of translation is done through google translate or with online dictionary media. And the researcher concludes, that using songs is a way that is very influential on language development. Key words : Song, audiovisual media
