Abstract

Effective communication is an exchange of ideas, feelings and information that can produce changes in behavior, so that a good relationship is established between the sender and recipient of the message. Tasamuh is an attitude of tolerance that must be created within the scope of Islamic education in this century. The current problem is that we see various learning in schools that are unable to achieve learning goals simply because of dis-communication between teachers and students and a lack of mutual respect between each other. The problem that often occurs and is the simplest in communication is that listening skills tend to be lacking. This research is qualitative in nature, using book contents as a source of information to analyze and understand various theories or concepts through book research. This research was carried out using a descriptive approach with qualitative methods as part of collecting the required data. The objectives of this research are: 1. What is the participation of the Alpha generation in carrying out effective learning? 2. What is the teacher's view of the impact of effective learning? 3. What is the teacher's view before and after carrying out effective learning? The theoretical implications of the results of this research increasingly emphasize that religious tolerance and morality are a unified whole in Islamic education which refers to acceptance of differences in gender, race and lifestyle.

Abstract

The crisis of modern life often leads to confusion and spiritual emptiness in individuals, driven by the dominance of materialism and the marginalization of spiritual values. This condition causes modern humans to experience inner emptiness, confusion about the meaning of life, and difficulty in facing the complexities of life crises. This study aims to examine Seyyed Hossein Nasr’s views on religious spirituality as a response to the crisis experienced by modern humans. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with library study as the primary source. The data are analysed using logical reasoning both inductively and deductively to develop arguments regarding Nasr’s views on religious spirituality and the crisis of modern humanity. The findings of this study indicate that Nasr views religious spirituality, particularly the teachings of Sufism, as a path to overcoming spiritual dryness and the loss of meaning in life within modern society. Concepts such as the relationship between exoteric and esoteric, unity, the perfect human (Insan Kamil), and the importance of maintaining a balance between the external and internal dimensions are central to Nasr’s thought in addressing this crisis. The implication of this study is the necessity of reviving spiritual values within religion as a solution to the confusion and spiritual emptiness often experienced by modern humans.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to examine the role of the Naqsabandiyah Order in building socio-cultural communication among the congregation of Surau Syukurul Amin, Kabanjahe, Karo Regency. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this study explores how spiritual practices, such as dhikr, wirid, and suluk, carried out in Surau Syukurul Amin, not only strengthen the religious dimension but also form patterns of social and cultural interaction among the congregation, who come from heterogeneous cultural backgrounds. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of the leaders of the surau, as well as key figures, using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which involves three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study indicate that the Naqsabandiyah Order plays a role in building socio-cultural communication among the congregation, as a mediator between universal Islamic values and local wisdom of the Karo community, strengthening solidarity, socio-cultural identity, and creating harmony and togetherness in the congregation environment. The practice of tarekat practices such as tawajjuh, wirid, and suluk not only strengthens spiritual relationships with Allah but also strengthens social communication, builds empathy, cooperation, and tolerance among members of the congregation. The socio-cultural communication formed among the congregation of the Naqsyabandiyah Tarekat of Surau Syukurul Amin Kabanjahe is very positive and harmonious. This can be seen from various aspects such as: (1) Significant social and cultural changes. (2) Acceptance and Adaptation of Local Culture. (3) Equality and Solidarity Between Congregations. (4) Good resolution of social problems. (5) Communication with the outside community. (6) Handling Communication Challenges. Based on several aspects, the socio-cultural communication formed among the congregation of the Naqsyabandiyah Tarekat of Surau Syukurul Amin Kabanjahe shows very positive and harmonious dynamics. The communication patterns that are built are not only limited to spiritual aspects, but have developed into a social interaction system that prioritizes the values of togetherness, equality, and mutual understanding among members of the congregation. Keywords: Communication, Naqsabandiyah, Socio-Cultural, Surau Syukurul Amin, Tarekat. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran Tarekat Naqsabandiyah dalam membangun komunikasi sosial budaya di kalangan jama’ah Surau Syukurul Amin, Kabanjahe, Kabupaten Karo. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana praktik-praktik spiritual seperti zikir, wirid, dan suluk yang dijalankan di Surau Syukurul Amin tidak hanya memperkuat dimensi religius, tetapi juga membentuk pola interaksi sosial dan budaya di antara jama’ah yang berasal dari latar belakang budaya yang heterogen. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap pimpinan surau, serta tokoh-tokoh kunci menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Huberman melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tarekat Naqsabandiyah berperan dalam membangun komunikasi sosial budaya jama’ah, sebagai mediator antara nilai-nilai Islam universal dan kearifan lokal masyarakat Karo, memperkuat solidaritas, identitas sosial budaya, serta menciptakan harmoni dan kebersamaan di lingkungan jama’ah. Praktik amalan tarekat seperti tawajjuh, wirid, dan suluk tidak hanya mempererat hubungan spiritual dengan Allah, tetapi juga memperkuat komunikasi sosial, membangun empati, gotong royong, dan toleransi di antara anggota jama’ah. Komunikasi sosial budaya yang terbentuk di kalangan jama’ah Tarekat Naqsabandiyah Surau Syukurul Amin Kabanjahe sangat positif dan harmonis hal ini dapat dilihat dari berbagai aspek seperti; (1) Perubahan sosial dan budaya yang signifikan. (2) Penerimaan dan Adaptasi Budaya Lokal. (3) Kesetaraan dan Solidaritas Antar Jamaah. (4) Penyelesaian masalah sosial yang baik. (5) Komunikasi dengan masyarakat luar. (6) Penanganan Tantangan Komunikasi. Berdasarkan beberapa aspek tersebut, komunikasi sosial budaya yang terbentuk di kalangan jamaah Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Surau Syukurul Amin Kabanjahe menunjukkan dinamika yang sangat positif dan harmonis. Pola komunikasi yang dibangun tidak hanya terbatas pada aspek spiritual semata, tetapi telah berkembang menjadi suatu sistem interaksi sosial yang mengedepankan nilai-nilai kebersamaan, kesetaraan, dan saling pengertian di antara anggota jama’ah. Kata Kunci : Komunikasi, Naqsabandiyah, Sosial Budaya, Surau Syukurul Amin, Tarekat.

Abstract

The concept of charity in Islamic teachings has a very broad scope, not limited to material or non-material donations. In the Quran, the term “shadaqah” represents all forms of charitable deeds, including non-material actions of a social and moral nature, such as removing hazards from the road, guiding people with disabilities, spreading smiles, and other positive behaviors toward others. This study aims to investigate how the implementation and impact of zakat institutions (Lazismu) contribute to improving the well-being of communities in Southeast Aceh, by examining hadiths related to charity.This study uses a quantitative method with field research. Data was collected from primary and secondary sources. Primary data was obtained from interviews and data collected during distribution and charity activities. Primary data sources include the Sunan An-Nasai, Sahih Bukhari, and the latest scientific studies. The results of this study indicate the level of influence of charity at the Lazismu Aceh Tenggara institution on community welfare as follows: in 2022, charity funds had an influence of approximately 6.23%, in 2023 the influence of charity was approximately 6.16%, in 2024, the influence was very high at around 12.24%, and finally, from January to March 2025, the influence of charity at Lazismu Aceh Tenggara reached 3.86%.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the learning model of Fiqh Manhaji in Ma'had Aly Mamba'ul Ma'arif Denanyar Jombang as a whole. The focus of the research includes objectives, processes, materials, methods, evaluation, and student responses in learning. The issue raised departs from the urgency of developing fiqh methods that are not only textual, but also contextual and solutive to answer contemporary Islamic law problems. In this context, Fiqh Manhaji is presented as a methodological approach based on maqashid al-sharia and the rules of ushuliyyah. The research method used is a qualitative approach of phenomenological type, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study show that the learning of Fiqh Manhaji in Ma'had Aly integrates Islamic boarding school traditions such as bandongan and bahtsul masā'il with a contextual approach based on case studies. The learning material is centered on the book of al-Bayan and is contextualized with actual issues. The methods and evaluations used are flexible, but prioritize the competence of legal analysis. The students' responses showed a significant change in the way of thinking and attitudes towards Islamic law. This study concludes that Fiqh Manhaji is a learning model that is able to form critical and applicative thinking for students, and is recommended to be further developed in other Islamic boarding school environments. Keywords: Fiqh Manhaji, Learning Model, Islamic Boarding School Education. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model pembelajaran Fikih Manhaji di Ma’had Aly Mamba’ul Ma’arif Denanyar Jombang secara menyeluruh. Fokus kajian meliputi tujuan, proses, materi, metode, evaluasi, serta respons santri dalam pembelajaran. Permasalahan yang diangkat berangkat dari urgensi pengembangan metode fikih yang tidak hanya bersifat tekstual, tetapi juga kontekstual dan solutif untuk menjawab persoalan hukum Islam kontemporer. Dalam konteks ini, Fikih Manhaji hadir sebagai pendekatan metodologis yang berbasis pada maqāshid al-syarī‘ah dan kaidah-kaidah ushūliyyah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis dengan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Fikih Manhaji di Ma’had Aly mengintegrasikan tradisi pesantren seperti bandongan dan bahtsul masā’il dengan pendekatan kontekstual berbasis studi kasus. Materi pembelajaran berpusat pada kitab al-Bayān yang dikontekstualisasikan dengan isu-isu aktual. Metode dan evaluasi yang digunakan bersifat fleksibel, namun tetap mengedepankan kompetensi analisis hukum. Respons santri menunjukkan adanya perubahan signifikan dalam cara berpikir dan sikap terhadap hukum Islam. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Fikih Manhaji merupakan model pembelajaran yang mampu membentuk pola pikir kritis dan aplikatif pada diri santri, serta direkomendasikan untuk terus dikembangkan di lingkungan pesantren lainnya. Kata kunci: Fikih Manhaji, Model Pembelajaran, Pendidikan Pesantren.

Abstract

AbstractThe tradition of lending and borrowing items has become common in society. However, this practice often creates problems when it develops into chain lending, namely when an item that has been borrowed is subsequently lent out to another party. In reality, many people neglect such situations' legal and social-ethical aspects, even though the item in question does not belong to them. In Islamic jurisprudence, scholars differ in their opinions regarding the permissibility of chain lending (‘Ariyah). This study aims, first, to explain the concept of chain lending (‘Ariyah) from the perspective of Islamic law; and second, to compare the views of the Maliki and Shafi'i schools regarding this matter. This research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach. Primary data are derived from classical fiqh texts of the Maliki and Shafi'i schools and other scholarly works relevant to the discussion of ‘Ariyah. Secondary data are obtained from supporting literature such as comparative fiqh books, journal articles, and previous studies discussing the practice of ‘Ariyah. The data analysis technique used is descriptive-analytical and comparative. The study concludes that the terminology ‘Ariyah' has two primary meanings. First, according to the Maliki and Hanafi schools, ‘Ariyah is regarded as a form of ownership of benefits, allowing the borrower to lend the item to another party without the owner's permission, provided that its usage remains the same. Second, the Shafi'i and Hanbali schools consider ‘Ariyah to only grant the right to use the item, not to transfer the lending right to another person, and therefore, the borrower is not authorized to lend it further.  Keywords: Chain ‘Ariyah, Maliki School, Shafi’i School. AbstrakTradisi saling meminjamkan barang telah menjadi kebiasaan yang lumrah di masyarakat. Namun, praktik ini sering menimbulkan persoalan ketika berkembang menjadi pinjam-meminjam berantai, yaitu ketika barang yang dipinjamkan kembali dipinjamkan kepada pihak lain. Dalam kenyataannya, banyak orang mengabaikan aspek hukum maupun etika sosial dalam situasi ini, padahal barang tersebut bukan miliknya sendiri. Dalam kajian fikih, para ulama berbeda pendapat mengenai kebolehan praktik ‘Ariyah berantai. Penelitian ini bertujuan: Pertama, menjelaskan konsep ‘Ariyah berantai dalam perspektif hukum Islam; Kedua, membandingkan pandangan mazhab Maliki dan mazhab Syafi’i terkait hal tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan. Data primer diperoleh dari kitab-kitab fikih klasik Mazhab Maliki dan Mazhab Syafi’i, serta karya ulama lain yang relevan dengan pembahasan ‘Ariyah. Sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari literatur pendukung seperti buku fikih perbandingan, artikel jurnal, maupun hasil penelitian terdahulu yang membahas praktik ‘Ariyah. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif-analitis dan komparatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa terminologi ‘Ariyah memiliki dua pemahaman utama, yaitu. Pertama, menurut mazhab Maliki dan Hanafi, ‘Ariyah dipandang sebagai bentuk kepemilikan manfaat, sehingga peminjam diperbolehkan meminjamkan barang tersebut kepada pihak lain tanpa izin pemilik, selama penggunaannya sama. Kedua, mazhab Syafi’i dan Hanbali menilai ‘Ariyah hanya memberi hak menggunakan barang, bukan mengalihkan hak pinjam kepada orang lain, sehingga peminjam tidak berwenang meminjamkannya lagi. Kata Kunci: ‘Ariyah berantai, Mazhab Maliki, Mazhab Syafi’i.

Abstract

Abstract The spread of Islam by the Wali Songo in Indonesia is a relevant example of religious moderation, particularly in pluralistic societies. This study aims to analyze the cultural acculturation approach employed by the Wali Songo in their da’wah to promote the formation of an inclusive and tolerant society. A literature study method is used to examine the da'wah strategies of Wali Songo, the concept of cultural acculturation, and its implications for religious moderation. The results show that Wali Songo's da’wah successfully integrated local cultural elements, such as gamelan and wayang, in spreading Islam without requiring the community to abandon their original cultural identities. Their teachings emphasize tolerance, cooperation, and maintaining good relations between religious communities, which are in line with religious moderation principles. In today's increasingly pluralistic society, the inclusive and tolerant values taught by the Wali Songo are crucial for fostering social harmony. Therefore, their teachings, focusing on cultural acculturation and religious moderation, serve as an excellent model for application in Indonesia’s multicultural society. Keywords: Wali Songo, Religious Moderation, Cultural Acculturation. AbstrakPenyebaran Islam oleh Wali Songo di Indonesia merupakan contoh moderasi beragama yang relevan, terutama dalam masyarakat plural. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendekatan akulturasi budaya yang dilakukan Wali Songo dalam dakwahnya untuk mendorong pembentukan masyarakat inklusif dan toleran. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka untuk menganalisis strategi dakwah Wali Songo, konsep akulturasi budaya, serta implikasinya terhadap moderasi beragama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dakwah Wali Songo berhasil mengintegrasikan unsur-unsur budaya lokal, seperti gamelan dan wayang, dalam penyebaran Islam tanpa menghapus identitas budaya asli masyarakat. Ajaran mereka menekankan toleransi, kerja sama, dan menjaga hubungan baik antar umat beragama, sesuai dengan prinsip moderasi beragama. Dalam masyarakat yang semakin plural, nilai-nilai inklusif dan toleransi yang diajarkan Wali Songo sangat penting untuk membangun harmoni sosial. Oleh karena itu, ajaran mereka yang berfokus pada akulturasi budaya dan moderasi beragama dapat menjadi model yang baik untuk diterapkan dalam masyarakat multikultural Indonesia. Kata kunci: Wali Songo, Moderasi Beragama, Akulturasi Budaya.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the understanding of Indonesian National Police (Polri) members regarding the concept of halal and sound sustenance (halalan thayyiban), its practical implementation, challenges encountered, and its relevance to Buya Hamka’s Tafsir Al-Azhar. The research employs a qualitative case study design, combining theological-normative and sociological approaches. The findings reveal that Polri members at the Pasar Merah Police Dormitory generally possess a good understanding, though with varying depth. Halal and sound sustenance is interpreted as lawful and blessed income, applied through honesty, professionalism, and simplicity. Challenges arise from economic pressures, permissive culture, and weak supervision. Tafsir Al-Azhar emphasizes that sustenance must be halal in accordance with sharia and thayyib in moral and spiritual dimensions. Implementing these values positively impacts integrity, professionalism, public trust, and quality of life, positioning Polri members as role models in fostering a clean and just work culture. Keywords: Halalan, Thayyiban, Al-Azhar Interpretation.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemahaman anggota Polri mengenai konsep rizki halal dan baik (halalan thayyiban), praktik penerapannya, tantangan yang dihadapi, serta relevansinya dengan Tafsir Al-Azhar karya Buya Hamka. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, memadukan pendekatan teologis-normatif dan sosiologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman anggota Polri di Asrama Polisi Pasar Merah umumnya baik, meskipun tingkat kedalamannya bervariasi. Rezeki halal dan baik dipahami sebagai rezeki yang sah menurut syariat dan diberkahi, serta diwujudkan melalui kejujuran, profesionalisme, dan kesederhanaan. Hambatan yang muncul terkait tekanan ekonomi, budaya permisif, dan lemahnya pengawasan. Tafsir Al-Azhar menekankan pentingnya rezeki halal secara syar’i dan thayyib secara moral-spiritual. Implementasi nilai ini berdampak positif terhadap integritas, profesionalisme, kepercayaan publik, serta kualitas hidup, sehingga menjadikan anggota Polri teladan dalam budaya kerja yang bersih dan adil. Kata Kunci: Halalan, Thayyiban, Tafsir Al-Azhar.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the forms, obstacles, and solutions of media collaboration between Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and parents in instilling a sense of responsibility for learning in students at SMP Negeri 3 Sei Rampah. Using descriptive qualitative methods, data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation studies of PAI teachers, parents, and students. The results indicate that the collaborative media used included WhatsApp groups, letters, face-to-face meetings (POG), and mobile phone communication. Letters were considered effective in conveying information and motivating students, but success depended heavily on the active participation of parents. The main obstacles encountered were a lack of parental response due to busy schedules, limited access to technology, and low awareness of the importance of character education, including responsibility for learning. The solutions implemented included a variety of communication media, socialization of the importance of parents' roles, and regular face-to-face meetings. This study confirms that synergy and intensive communication between PAI teachers and parents through various media are key to successfully instilling a sense of responsibility for learning in students, while also significantly contributing to strengthening character education at school and in the family.Keywords: Media, Collaboration, Responsibility for Learning. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk, hambatan, dan solusi kolaborasi media antara guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan orang tua dalam menanamkan rasa tanggung jawab belajar pada siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Sei Rampah. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap guru PAI, orang tua, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media kolaborasi yang digunakan meliputi grup WhatsApp, surat, pertemuan tatap muka (POG), dan komunikasi telepon genggam. Surat dinilai efektif dalam menyampaikan informasi dan memotivasi siswa, tetapi keberhasilannya sangat bergantung pada partisipasi aktif orang tua. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya respon orang tua karena jadwal yang padat, keterbatasan akses teknologi, dan rendahnya kesadaran akan pentingnya pendidikan karakter, termasuk tanggung jawab belajar. Solusi yang diterapkan meliputi media komunikasi yang bervariasi, sosialisasi pentingnya peran orang tua, dan pertemuan tatap muka secara berkala. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa sinergi dan komunikasi intensif antara guru PAI dan orang tua melalui berbagai media merupakan kunci keberhasilan dalam menanamkan rasa tanggung jawab belajar pada diri siswa, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi penting bagi penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dan di keluarga.Kata Kunci: Media, Kolaborasi, Tanggung Jawab untuk Belajar.

Abstract

Abstract The story of Adam and Eve's creation, as told in the narrative of the Prophet, offers many valuable lessons; however, this aspect has not been widely explored. This research aims to reveal the educational insights of Islamic teachings regarding the authenticity of the cosmological phases of the physical creation of Adam and Eve, as described in the story of the Prophet. The article is based on findings from a library research approach and was analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study conclude that the lesson from the physical creation of Prophet Adam is that he was appointed as the caliph on earth, a leader and ruler for humankind. This creation reflects the uniqueness and nobility of human beings, serving as a model for all future generations. Furthermore, Adam’s creation from clay contains lessons about human origins and the diversity of human physical forms worldwide. Meanwhile, the lesson from the creation of Eve from Adam’s rib emphasizes the formation of a strong bond of affection between them, creating a pair that complements one another and lives together in tranquility. This suggests that men and women were created as a unified entity, mutually dependent and supportive of one another. Overall, this study makes a significant contribution to Islamic education, particularly in its understanding of the cosmological aspects of the creation of Adam and Eve. Keywords: Islamic education, cosmological, physical creation, Prophet Adam and Eve.AbstrakKisah penciptaan Nabi Adam dan Hawa menawarkan banyak pelajaran berharga; namun, aspek ini belum banyak dieksplorasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap wawasan pendidikan dari ajaran Islam mengenai otentisitas fase-fase kosmologis penciptaan fisik Nabi Adam dan Hawa. Artikel ini didasarkan pada temuan dari pendekatan penelitian pustaka dan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pelajaran dari penciptaan fisik Nabi Adam adalah bahwa ia diangkat sebagai khalifah di bumi, seorang pemimpin dan penguasa bagi umat manusia. Penciptaan ini mencerminkan keunikan dan kemuliaan manusia, yang menjadi teladan bagi semua generasi mendatang. Selain itu, penciptaan Adam dari tanah mengandung pelajaran tentang asal-usul manusia dan keragaman bentuk fisik manusia di seluruh dunia. Sementara itu, pelajaran dari penciptaan Hawa dari tulang rusuk Adam menekankan pembentukan ikatan kasih sayang yang kuat di antara keduanya, menciptakan pasangan yang saling melengkapi dan hidup bersama dalam ketenangan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa laki-laki dan perempuan diciptakan sebagai satu kesatuan yang saling bergantung dan mendukung satu sama lain. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pendidikan Islam, khususnya dalam memahami aspek kosmologis penciptaan Adam dan Hawa. Kata kunci: pendidikan Islam, kosmologis, penciptaan fisik, Nabi Adam dan Hawa.
