Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has significantly improved access to public services, including at the regional government level. In response, the Karawang Regency Government introduced the Tanggap Karawang (TANGKAR) application in 2019, designed to increase public participation by allowing citizens to report various issues such as infrastructure problems and natural disasters. This application enables faster government responses to public reports, thereby improving service delivery. Despite its potential, the implementation of TANGKAR faces several challenges, particularly in terms of accessibility for non-Android users and the lack of comprehensive public outreach. This study examines the effectiveness of the TANGKAR application in improving public satisfaction with government services in Karawang Regency. Using a quantitative approach, specifically through survey methods, this research applies the Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) technique for data analysis. The findings reveal that the quality of electronic services provided by TANGKAR has a significant positive impact, with a 58.9% influence on public satisfaction. The measurement instruments used were proven to be valid and reliable, ensuring accurate assessments of the targeted variables. The study concludes that improving the quality of digital services is crucial for building public trust and satisfaction with local government initiatives, emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement in e-governance solutions

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze the influence of the Village Head's leadership and tax administration sanctions on public awareness in paying Land and Building Tax (PBB). Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 22 taxpayer respondents. The results of the analysis show that the validity test results for each questionnaire item are valid with a calculated r value greater than r table, and the reliability test shows that the Cronbach's Alpha value is above 0.60, which means it is reliable. Classic assumption tests include normality, multicollinearity and autocorrelation tests, where the data is normally distributed and there is no multicollinearity (VIF < 10). The results of the T test show that the leadership of the Village Head (XI) has a significant effect on public awareness (Y) with a t-value of 6.405 < 0.05, and tax administration sanctions (X2) also have a significant effect with a t-count of 3.583 < 0.05. The leadership of the village head (XI) has a significant effect on paying land and building taxes (Z) with a t-count of 4.508 < 0.05 and administrative sanctions for taxes (X2) also have a significant effect with a t-count of 6.548 < 0.05. The F test shows the simultaneous influence of the two independent variables on public awareness, with an F count of 29.486 and a significance of 0.001. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.831 indicates that 83.1% of the variation in community awareness can be explained by the leadership of the village head and tax administration sanctions. Abstract

This study examines the effects of indirect compensation and intrinsic motivation on employee productivity at PT. Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk Bandung. The research addresses key challenges in managing productivity, emphasizing the significance of non-monetary benefits and intrinsic drivers in enhancing employee performance. These factors are critical in today’s competitive work environment, particularly in manufacturing sectors, where maintaining consistent productivity levels is paramount. The study aims to provide actionable insights into human resource management practices that align compensation and motivation strategies to improve employee productivity. A quantitative descriptive verificative approach was employed, with data collected from 77 respondents using a structured questionnaire and analyzed through path analysis. The questionnaire items underwent validity and reliability testing to ensure accuracy. Correlation and path analyses were conducted to evaluate direct and indirect effects of the independent variables on employee productivity. Findings indicate that indirect compensation contributes to employee productivity through both direct and indirect pathways, with a total effect of 35.81%. Intrinsic motivation emerged as the stronger determinant, accounting for a total effect of 44.46% on productivity. Together, these variables explain 72.8% of the variance in employee productivity, highlighting their complementary roles. Employees perceive indirect compensation as satisfactory, valuing social security, benefits, and work-life balance. High intrinsic motivation levels further reflect employees’ satisfaction with personal achievements, recognition, and opportunities for growth. The study recommends enhancing social security programs, fostering employee autonomy, and supporting motivation under challenging conditions to optimize productivity. These findings underscore the importance of strategic HR practices in fostering a productive and engaged workforce.
