Abstract

The development of tourism in Bandung City is inseparable from meticulous tourism planning. However, the extent to which such planning impacts the quality of life of local residents remains a question. This study aims to fill this gap by conducting an in-depth examination of Bandung citizens' perceptions of the impacts of tourism planning on their quality of life, considering the environmental, socio-cultural, economic, and overall quality of life dimensions. Google Forms were employed as the data collection instrument. The online distribution of questionnaires enabled broader participation from various segments of the population. Data obtained from Google Forms were processed and statistically analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 27 to determine the extent to which the research dimensions, such as environmental impacts, socio-cultural impacts, economic impacts, and overall quality of life, are influenced by tourism planning in Bandung City. The analysis results indicate that Bandung's tourism planning has significantly contributed to improving the quality of life and economic conditions for a portion of the population. Nevertheless, there is a need for improvements in environmental management, socio-cultural aspects, and the equitable distribution of economic benefits. A more comprehensive and sustainable planning approach is required to optimize the positive impacts and mitigate the negative consequences of tourism.

Abstract

Abstract The Operations Bureau is a work unit (satker) at the Regional Police level, specifically in the East Java region, which has an important role in planning security for police force members. The research approach uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through interviews, direct observation, and document studies. This study aims to determine the Security Planning for the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections, which was carried out because it required the assistance of security forces during the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections. In this context, the Regional Head Election (Pilkada) is an important mechanism for community participation in decision-making. However, security challenges, such as political vulnerability, violations, and possible riots are a major concern, especially in East Java Province. News emerged during the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections when there was riots in the Madura Raya area. The results of the study show that the Operations Bureau has taken proactive steps to deal with potential vulnerabilities, including the addition of security personnel in vulnerable areas. Although planning has covered various aspects, there are shortcomings in developing alternatives. This study emphasizes the importance of structured and responsive planning to create safe and conducive conditions during the Pilkada, and to ensure that the democratic process runs smoothly. Abstract

Abstract The readiness of Telkom Regional II to undergo transformation remains suboptimal due to several factors. Issues include inadequate allocation of corporate resources to support transformation initiatives, insufficient technological infrastructure integration, and low employee enthusiasm. This research aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership and organizational culture on the organization's readiness for transformation, focusing on the telecommunications industry in Indonesia. The study used a quantitative methodology that included partial least squares (PLS) and structural equation modeling (SEM). Structured surveys were used to gather information from 120 Telkom Regional II workers. Convergent validity, discriminant validity, and reliability tests were used to assess the validity and reliability of the outer model. Hypothesis testing showed significant positive impacts: transformational leadership influence organizational readiness (path coefficient = 0.149, p = 0.005), and organizational culture influenced both transformational leadership (path coefficient = 0.345, p = 0.000) and organizational readiness (path coefficient = 0.718, p = 0.000). Findings highlight the importance of leadership integrity, cultural collaboration, and resource optimization. However, challenges such as employee resistance and insufficient digital skills persist. This study recommends regular leadership training, strategic resource investment, and cultural development initiatives. Future research could broaden the scope by including more variables and comparing organizational dynamics across sectors.
