Abstract

In recent times, there is an increasing trend of logistics service companies. Every company has to perform well especially related to the on time delivery service if they want to bait many customers and compete in the logistics service industry. Otherwise, they will fall behind. Based on the research, there are five specific reasons of late delivery when the service is provided using motorcycles. They are the welfare factors, mentally and physically factors, the vehicle factors, the loading factors, and the IT tool factors. Using the qualitative and cause and effect method, the problems of late delivery can be solved. The solutions are training the couriers especially for time management and use of new technology, providing medical check up for couriers, motivating the couriers to give the best service to the clients, having some new motorcycles to back up the old ones, hiring new couriers and allocating time in routing them, and providing the best or at least good and reliable technology such as computers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which consumer attitudes and perceptions of the interest or desire of the public to use the train as the preferred means of transportation during the Covid 19 pandemic, either partially or simultaneously. In this study using quantitative methods with multiple regression analysis, t-test, and f test to determine the effect of variables either partially or simultaneously using a convenience sample of 96 respondents. The results show that there is a positive and significant influence both partially and simultaneously on consumer attitudes and perceptions of interest in using trains during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

PT Garuda Indonesia should pay attention to which routes contribute significantly to the company. Therefore, it is necessary to formulate a strategy for the flight route, one of which is the use of aircraft types that are the company's primary consideration for achieving profit targets. The problem in this research was how to formulate strategies for the use of PT Garuda Indonesia aircraft types. Garuda Indonesia CGK-SIN-CGK route in 2019. The level of competition of PT Garuda Indonesia on the CGK-SIN-CGK route ranked second in the market on this route. According to CPM's matrix, the company ranks second. In 2018 on the route CGK-SIN-CGK, PT Garuda Indonesia used Airbus 330-200, Airbus 330-300, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 777-300 and Boeing 737-Max, 8 aircrafts with a total frequency of 6,315 flights and 844,714 pax. The average passengers that could be transported was 134 pax / flight and actually could be transported sufficiently by a narrow-body aircraft, that was, the Boeing 737-800 with the capacity of 162 seats (12C / 150Y). In the decision stage, the QSPM matrix was used. The product development strategy that can be implemented is that the company uses Boeing 737-800NG aircraft with a low total operating cost of the aircraft as the highest priority and followed by the second priority. In other words, the company uses a large-capacity 330 series Airbus aircraft.

Abstract

 Which one of the service is the overflying billing services (Flying Cross Flight Services) to any airlines thta fly over the western part of Indonesia. The aim of this study is to enhance the service and the billing of the Flying Cross Flight Services. The researchers use SWOT as the analysis method to solve the billing problems. It describes the billing process of PJP Overflying, identifies any factors which caused ineffective billing process and of course analyses the internal and external factor to create a new strategy. This new strategy is expected to control the billing problems that already happened and to increase the effectiveness of the billing process and services of PJP Overflying in the future.

Abstract

Some of the efforts that can be made to improve aviation security performance are by implementing security screening and airport security programme. The study was conducted at Sentani Airport in 2019 using quantitative methods, with the number of research samples taken in total saturation of 50 personnel at Sentani Airport. Data collected through instruments in the form of statement sheets with ordinal scale models that have been tested, linear regression, partial or simultaneous. The research is using path analysis technique. Based on the results of the study show that security screening has a direct effect on flight aviation security of 2.224 and there is a direct influence of airport security programme on Aviation Security Performance of 4.186 and there is a significant positive effect of security screening on airport security programme is 5.491 and based on the results of the study shows that Security screening indirectly has an effect of 1320,879 on Aviation Security Performance through mediation of Airport Security Programme.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to find out the employees’ development and motivation towards the performance of PT. Transporindo Agung Sejahtera employees. The method used in the study was quantitative method. The data analysis technique was using the multiple linear regression. The population was taken as the samples from the company of 35 employees. The result shows that there is a positive and significant effect of employees’ development and motivation towards the performance of the company’s employees.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to do empirical test to know how much the influence of transportation fleet planning is and controlling goods inventory of the improvement of goods distribution services. This research used a case study of distribution division or finished goods warehouse of a drinking water company. The data collection was carried out by perception survey of 48 warehouse employees as subject research on variable study. Multiple regression was used to analyse the data. The result of this research shows that regression equation Y=11,584 + 0,387X1 + 0,368X2. The fleet planning and inventory control have a significant influence and strong relationship to the improvement of distribution services

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the effect of the implementation of occupational safety and health (K3) and behavioral awareness (K3) of the depok-antasari toll road service operational officers on zero accident efforts at PT Citra Waspphutowa. This research was conducted on 48 respondents using a quantitative descriptive approach. By using two independent variables, namely the implementation of occupational safety and health (K3), awareness of behavior (K3) and one dependent variable, namely zero accident efforts. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of occupational safety and health (K3) (X₁) and awareness of behavior (K3) (X₂) on efforts to zero accident (Y). The results of this study show simultaneously (F test) the variables of the implementation of occupational safety and health. (K3) and awareness of behavior (K3) together have a positive and significant effect on zero accident efforts with a contribution value of 67.3%. Partially (T test) awareness of behavior (K3) has a positive and significant effect on zero accident efforts.

Abstract

Safety is one of the conditions that should be met for a ship to be seaworthy. Besides safety, the welfare of the ship’s crew (ABK) should be guaranteed. The aim of this research is to provide input to the Ministry of Transportation about the welfare conditions of ship’s crew on Indonesia flag state. The data analysis method used in this study was qualitative, means that the data collected was based on the problem on-board, in the form of a questionnaire to 400 Indonesian ship’s crew of Indonesian ships (size 300 GT above domestic shipping and size 500 GT above foreign shipping). The results of the analysis shows that the need for improvement of the Ship’s Articles documents in accordance with admiralty/nautical laws which are the ship’s crew gets salary without any benefits, the average work exceeds the specific working hours, minimum accommodation facilities, unfulfilled full compliment of health insurance and employment, as well as the absence of compliance with national sea transportation companies to fulfill the contents of the ship’s articles.

Abstract

Financial ratios describe a relationship between a certain number with another number, and explain to analysts about the good or bad circumstances or the financial position of a company, if the ratio is compared with the comparative ratio is used as a standard. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of financial ratios to profit in the company Persero Batam. The method used is associative method, which is to determine the relationship between two or more variables. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with the first process the data using quantitative methods, followed by horizontal analysis, classic assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity test, and test autokorelaso), and the correlation coefficient of determination, t test, and F test
