The problems faced by the district were about the inadequate terminal’s condition, bad terminal’s management, naughty passengers who ride the bus from outside the terminal, the inadequate ticket box facility, and no integrated Standard Operating Procedures. To get the research subject, the writers were using Servqual analysis (gap), Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) with 30 Malinau inter-city terminal passengers as samples and Cartesius diagram. Based on the results, the writers find out that the terminal has not fulfilled the standard of the service quality which included the safety and security services, well-organized/reliable service, comfortable and convenience services, and the equality service.

The problem of work accidents is caused by the lack of the ship’s crew discipline to use the safety equipment while working. The data processing method was using descriptive method. The researchers tried to observe the cases that often occur on the ship related to the previous problem and note the causes and solutions to improve the ship’s crew discipline while working. The main potential hazards for hot work activities on vessels are fire and explosion. The implementation of the hot work permit system at Merak, Banten Port is in accordance with NFPA 51 B 2009 of Standard Fire Prevention during Welding, Cutting, and other Hot Work.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the impact of e-service quality on repurchase intention of on-line travel agencies, especially in DKI Jakarta. On-line travel agency is a travel website (e-commerce) providing various services related to tourism, such as: on-line transportation and hotel bookings and entertainment. On-line travel agency also serves as an alternative option in addition to the conventional ones. This research employed quantitative approach. The data was gathered by distributing on-line questionnaire to 96 online travel agencies users as the samples. The data was then analyzed by using simple linear regression through SPSS 23. The result shows that e-service quality is in good category while repurchase intention is in very good category. The correlational value between e-service quality and repurchase intention is in the strong category and the percentage that shows e-service quality affects significantly positive to repurchase intention of 62,1% while 37,9% as the other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

This paper focuses on industry attractiveness of processing monazite into Rare Earth Elements (REE). The analysis is using Porter’s Five Forces (PFF). PFF is a framework for the industry analysis and business strategy development developed by Michael E. Porter. In addition, we took four of the six Politics Economic Social Technology Environment and Legal (PESTEL) analyzes to see if there is an impact of these four factors in deriving the conclusion. With combined factors of increasing demand on China’s domestic and the soaring world consumption of growing-demand products have impacted to shortfall of supply. The total demand for selected REE in 2040 is projected to increase around 300% compared to 2010. With current supply unless new Rare Earth Oxides (REO) production is developed, the shortage will become even wider. Based on PFF analysis the Rare Earth (RE) Processing Industry is currently attractive. It indicates that the existing players are enjoying healthy margin. Three factors are showing weak, they are: threat of entrance, rivalry amongst existing player and threat of substitution. The bargaining Power of supplier and bargaining power of buyers are both classified as moderate. In general, the industry outlook is promising as it is predicted the demand still outstrip the supply for the next 5-10 years.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of Freight Forwarding and warehouse services on the distribution of goods needed for vessels to chartered vessels. The method used a quantitative method with the data analysis of multiple linear regression, coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing (t-test and f-test). From the analysis and discussion results, there is a proportional relationship between Freight Forwarding services and Transit Warehouse to the distribution of goods which is indicated by the multiple linear regression equation of Y = 6.972 + 0.917 X1 + 0.083 X2. The coefficient determination is 67.9%. The result of the hypothesis test simultaneously shows that the value of F_count = 28.546 is more than F_table = 3.35 because F_count is greater than F_table. It means, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In conclusion, there is a positive influence between Freight Forwarding services and Transit Warehouse on the distribution of goods.
