Poverty remains a major challenge in Bengkulu Province, with a relatively high poverty rate compared to other provinces in Sumatra. This study aims to predict the poverty rate in Bengkulu Province using the Markov Chain approach for the period 2025-2027, based on historical data from 2015-2024 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Through the analysis of transition probabilities between poverty statuses using the Markov Chain approach, this study found that most districts/cities in Bengkulu Province showed a consistent downward trend in poverty, especially in areas such as South Bengkulu and Rejang Lebong. However, several areas, such as Central Bengkulu and Seluma, still experience quite high poverty rates, and are even predicted to increase in the coming years. This indicates that these areas require more attention in poverty alleviation policies. The results of this prediction are expected to be a reference for the government in formulating more effective poverty alleviation policies, with a focus on increasing access to education, health, and job creation. Thus, this study provides an important contribution to more targeted policy planning to reduce poverty levels in Bengkulu Province.

Sustainable economic growth is the primary goal of development in Indonesia, but it cannot be separated from the role of democracy and human development. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) and the Human Development Index (HDI) on economic growth in Indonesia from 2015 to 2023. The method used is panel data regression with the Random Effect Model (REM) applied to panel data from 34 provinces in Indonesia. The results show that both IDI and HDI have a positive and significant impact on economic growth, both simultaneously and partially. The IDI coefficient of 2538.056 with a t-statistic probability of 0.0013 indicates that increasing IDI can enhance economic growth. Meanwhile, HDI has a coefficient of 18923.955 with a t-statistic probability of 0.0000, demonstrating the importance of education, healthcare, and living standards in supporting labor productivity and economic growth. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 28.52%, indicating that other factors, such as infrastructure, fiscal policies, and institutional aspects, influence economic growth by 71.48%. This study concludes that improvements in IDI and HDI are crucial factors in promoting equitable and sustainable economic growth in Indonesia. Therefore, policies that strengthen democracy and improve the quality of human development should be prioritized in national development strategies.

Then, self-control and performance showed that there was a very significant relationship between self-control and performance. This means that there is a very significant positive relationship between self-control and the performance of investigators at the Central Kalimantan Regional Police.

The post-Cold War period witnessed the evolution of Great Power Strategic Engagements (GPSE) among the United States, China, and Russia, characterized by cooperation, competition, and complex interactions. These engagements impact global stability through military, economic, and diplomatic spheres. Strategic competition, particularly influenced by economic and technological ambitions, has shaped policies and alliances. This research employs a qualitative approach, analyzing literature to understand how GPSE and Great Power Competition (GPC) interplay affects international order and defense strategies, emphasizing cooperation potential and conflict risks. The study underscores the delicate balance between rivalry and collaboration.

This literature review paper was conducted to observe the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, which have undergone significant transformations over time. By applying a historical analysis framework, the paper traces the evolution of MSMEs in Indonesia, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and the impact of economic policies on their development with the data being gathered from academic journals, government reports (e.g., the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs, Statistics Indonesia), and industry reports from organizations like the Asian Development Bank (ADB). In the pre-independence era, MSMEs were providers of local goods and services, although hindered by exploitative colonial policies. Next, in the Old Order and New Order eras, although MSMEs began to receive attention, the large sector was still prioritized in economic policies. Greater attention to MSMEs emerged after the 1997-1998 crisis, where MSMEs demonstrated extraordinary resilience and became one of the pillars of Indonesia's economy. In the reform era, decentralization allowed MSMEs to develop throughout Indonesia, with increasingly supportive policies such as People's Business Credit (KUR) and entrepreneurship training.

The poor financial management among Indonesian society confirms the suboptimal financial literacy rate in the country. With the majority of Indonesians being Muslims, and considering that Islam involves numerous acts of worship requiring financial assets as their object, Islamic financial literacy education is crucial. A solid educational foundation begins with this understanding, motivating this research to explore teaching methods for Islamic financial literacy for elementary school-aged children. Based on qualitative research using library studies and descriptive analysis, it is found that interactive teaching methods can effectively and enjoyably deliver Islamic financial literacy materials to middle school students.
