This study aims to explore the role of nursing homes in improving the welfare of the elderly in Jakarta, especially in North Jakarta. Due to social changes driven by modernization, many elderly people lack adequate emotional and physical support from their families. Nursing homes serve as an alternative solution by offering comprehensive services covering physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects. The research applies a descriptive qualitative method through a literature review, drawing data from books, journals, and relevant documents, analyzed using content analysis techniques. The method used in this research is a literature study, namely a series of activities related to the method of collecting library data, reading, recording, and working on facts from the research. The findings show that nursing homes play a crucial role in meeting the basic needs of the elderly, including healthcare, nutrition, daily assistance, as well as emotional and spiritual support. Moreover, they provide a supportive social environment and strengthen the elderly's connection with their families through the involvement of social workers. In conclusion, nursing homes function not only as places of residence, but also as social service institutions that promote holistic and sustainable elderly well-being.

This study investigates the effect of salary and work environment on employee performance, with job motivation acting as a mediator at PT Transcoal Pacific Sangatta. The study involved 55 employees from the company as respondents. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique was used to analyze the data, supported by the SmartPLS software for multivariate hypothesis testing. The analysis followed two key stages using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique: evaluation of the outer model, followed by assessment of the inner model. The data indicated that salary had a favorable and considerable impact on employee performance. Similarly, the working environment has a favorable and significant impact on performance. Compensation also significantly enhances work motivation, while the work environment’s effect on motivation is positive but not significant. Furthermore, motivation has a positive and significant impact on performance. Compensation indirectly influences performance through motivation in a significant and positive manner, whereas the indirect effect of the work environment on performance through motivation is positive but not statistically significant.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Learning Design Module (LDM) in the Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) with the theme of Employment for eleventh-grade students at SMK Graha Madina Singosari. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research focuses on three main aspects: (1) the design and content of the LDM, (2) the classroom implementation process, and (3) the impact of LDM use on students' character competency. Data were collected through classroom observations on P5’s teacher and students of grade XI at SMK Graha Madina Singosari, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The findings indicate that the LDM, developed based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL), successfully integrates modern office administration skills with the strengthening of core character values such as responsibility, independence, and collaboration. The implementation of LDM fostered active student engagement through contextual learning activities that simulate real-world work practices, although challenges remain in time management and group dynamics. Overall, the use of LDM not only enhances instructional effectiveness but also serves as a transformative tool for character development in vocational education. These findings underscore the importance of project- and reflection-based learning design in supporting Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes 21st-century competencies.

Earnings management remains a concern in corporate governance, especially in emerging economies with prevalent agency conflicts. This study examines how managerial ownership, profitability, and leverage affect earnings management and tests whether audit quality moderates these links. Using 128 firm-year observations from 32 primary consumer goods firms listed on the IDX for 2020–2023, the analysis applies Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via WarpPLS 8.0, with discretionary accruals from the Modified Jones Model as the proxy. The results show managerial ownership and leverage significantly increase earnings management (p < 0.01), while profitability has no effect. Audit quality reduces the impact of profitability on earnings management but does not moderate the other links. The findings provide evidence on governance practices in Indonesia and highlight the need for stronger audit oversight.

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership, compensation, and workload on employee performance with organizational climate as a mediating variable at BCA Finance Samarinda. A quantitative approach with Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis technique was used, involving 40 employees as respondents. The results revealed that compensation has a positive and significant effect on organizational climate, while transformational leadership and workload have no significant impact. Furthermore, organizational climate is the only variable that significantly affects employee performance. This indicates that a positive and supportive work environment is essential in improving employee productivity. The managerial implication of this research is that strengthening organizational climate should be a top priority in performance improvement efforts rather than focusing solely on leadership style or workload distribution.

This study aims to examine the effect of financial performance and market risk on stock trading volume. Financial performance is proxied by liquidity, solvency, activity, profitability, and earnings growth, while market risk is measured by stock beta. The research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and analyzed through multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results indicate that liquidity, profitability, and market risk have a negative and significant effect on stock trading volume, while activity has a positive and significant effect. Meanwhile, solvency and earnings growth do not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, all independent variables significantly affect stock trading volume; however, the explanatory power of the model remains relatively limited. These findings suggest that investors respond selectively to specific financial indicators and market risk in making trading decisions.
