Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of product quality, trust and convenience on purchasing decisions at Shopee e-commerce (case study of undergraduate students at the Faculty of Economics, Department of Management). The population in this study were students from the Faculty of Economics, Department of Management. The collection technique used the Slovin formula which was obtained by 84 respondents. The data used are validity and reliability tests, data analysis techniques using classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. The results of the t test research show that (1) product quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a regression coefficient value of 2,108 and a probability value of 0.038 which means < 0.05, (2) Trust has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a regression coefficient value of 56,093 and a value probability 0.000 which means < 0.05 and (3) Convenience has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a regression coefficient value of 33,755 and a probability value of 0.000 which means <0.05. The results of the f test show that product quality, trust and convenience simultaneously (together) influence purchasing decisions with the regression coefficient obtaining a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

The existence of tourist attractions in Puncak Lawang is a special attraction for the existence of tourist attractions in Puncak Lawang, especially those who want to enjoy the natural atmosphere at Puncak Lawang. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of attractiveness, accessibility and facilities on the decision to visit the Puncak Lawang tourist attraction. The object of this study was at Puncak Lawang which is located in Agam Regency. The population in this study were consumers who had visited the Puncak Lawang tourist attraction with an unknown number. According to Rosoe's theory (2012) that for the sample is 10 x the number of research variables, namely 10 x 4 = 40 samples. So the number of samples in this study is 40 respondents. The results of this study The tourist attraction variable has a significant effect on the decision to visit the Puncak Lawang tourist attraction. This is evidenced by the t-count value of 2.780 which is greater than the t-table of 1.68385 (2.789> 1.68385) with a significance level of 0.008 meaning less than 0.05 (0.008 <0.05). The accessibility variable has a significant effect on the decision to visit the Puncak Lawang tourist attraction. This is evidenced by the t-count value of 2.216 which is greater than the t-table of 1.68385 (2.216> 1.68385) with a significance level of 0.033 meaning less than 0.05 (0.033 <0.05). The facility variable has a significant effect on the decision to visit the Puncak Lawang tourist attraction. This is evidenced by the t-value of 2.606 which is greater than the t-table of 1.68385 (2.606> 1.68385) with a significance level of 0.013 meaning it is less than 0.05 (0.013 <0.05). The variables of tourist attraction, accessibility and facilities have a significant effect on the decision to visit the Puncak Lawang tourist attraction. This is evidenced by the F-value of 16.101> F-table 2.86 with sig = 0.000 <0.05. The variables of tourist attraction, accessibility and facilities have a joint contribution of (0.573 x 100%) = 57.3% to the dependent variable, namely the decision to visit (Y) while the rest (100% - 57.3%) = 42.7% of the decision to visit is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

MSMEs have an important role in the economy. In order for business performance to continue to increase, influencing factors are needed, but the problems faced include still being weak, such as limited capital faced by business actors because banks make loans difficult, ineffective marketing and lack of knowledge about alternative financing and lack of support such as many government policies that are not pro-MSMEs, for example forced evictions, lack of training from related institutions. The study aims to determine the influence of internal and external factors on the Performance of MSMEs in Pariaman Tengah District, Pariaman City. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were 3,352 MSME actors in Pariaman Tengah District, Pariaman City. The sample was selected using the Slovin formula, so that a sample of 97 respondents was obtained and the sampling technique used random sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, while the data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis tests. The results of the study showed that internal factors had an influence and were significant on MSME performance. This means that the stronger the influence of internal factors, the higher the MSME performance will tend to be. Conversely, the weaker the influence of internal factors, the lower the MSME performance will tend to be, external factors had an influence and were significant on MSME performance. This means that the stronger the influence of external factors, the higher the MSME performance will tend to be. Conversely, the weaker the influence of external factors, the lower the MSME performance will tend to be and internal and external factors simultaneously have a significant influence on MSME performance. This means that internal and external factors will affect MSME performance, if internal and external factors are good, MSME performance will be achieved.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of digital marketing, price and service quality on sales volume at Cafe Goodbeb in Pariaman. Quantitative research is a valid and reliable instrument as well as appropriate analysis so that it does not deviate from actual conditions and research by obtaining data in the form of numbers. The population in this research is all consumers who have visited or shopped at Cafe Goodbeb, the number of which is unknown. The sample in this study was 68 respondents . Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the SPSS version 23 for Windows program. Based on the results obtained, the multiple linear regression value is Y=7.777+ 0.113X1 + 0.585X2+ 0.250X3. . Then the results. First Hypothesis Test (H1) H1: Digital Marketing. t calculated has a value of 3.949. Meanwhile, the t table in this study has a value of 1.99773, this shows that the calculated t value > t table (3.949 > 1.99773) which means that Digital Marketing has a significant and influential effect on sales volume. Second Hypothesis Test (H2) H2: The calculated t price has a value of 10.416. Meanwhile, the t table in this study has a value of 1.99773. which means that price has a significant and influential effect on sales volume. Third Hypothesis Test (H3) H3: Service Quality. t count has a value of 6.166. Meanwhile, the t table in this study has a value of 1.99773. which means that service quality has a positive and significant effect on sales volume. f count is 94,900. Meanwhile, the f table in this study has a value of 2.75. This means that the calculated f value is greater than the f table (94,900 > 2.75). Meanwhile, judging from the significance value of 0.000, the significance value is smaller than 0.05. The coefficient of determination value is 0.808. This means that 80.8% of sales volume is influenced by digital marketing, price and service quality. Meanwhile, the remaining 19.2% of sales volume is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of halal certification on halal culinary on tourist satisfaction, the effect of tourist satisfaction on destination loyalty, and the effect of halal certification on destination loyalty mediated by tourist satisfaction. The population in this study were local tourists visiting halal tourist destinations in West Sumatra, namely Padang City. A series of exploration and confirmation analysis factors were used to assess the research construction, validity, and reliability of the composite. The number of samples in this study was 150 respondents. The data analysis technique used in testing the hypothesis of this study was the utilization of the Partial Least Square (PLS) program. Based on the results of the study, halal certification does not have a significant effect on tourist satisfaction. Tourist satisfaction has a significant effect on destination loyalty, and tourist satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between halal certification and destination loyalty.

Abstract

Promotion is an activity carried out by a company with the aim of informing, informing, persuading, and influencing consumers in choosing or buying a product offered by the company ofcourse using the attractive language. This study uses a quantitative approach, this is based on the existing problems, the quantitative approach is very appropriate because it emphasizes the numbers (numerical) which are then processed using statistics. Statistically, the hypothesis proposed by the data in the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that the hypothesis presents the influence of attractive promotional language on increasing sales at Optik Yogya Kuantan Singingi is positive and very strong with a percentage of 80%.

Abstract

The purpose of the study conducted was to measure the effectiveness of the realization of the levy and the contribution to PAD and find out the factors that resulted in the non-achievement of the regional levy target and how to overcome obstacles that resulted in the non-achievement of the regional levy target. The research method used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The analysis carried out shows that the effectiveness of the Regional Levy of Padang City in 2019 - 2023 has not been maximized because its effectiveness is still below 100%. In addition his contribution to PAD is sorely lacking.. The factors that result in the non-achievement of the regional levy target are inadequate facilities, lack of inadequate human resources services, and lack of socialization, economic factors and low public awareness. ways to overcome these obstacles are to budget funds to improve or improve facilities, improve services, provide training, and maximize socialization and increase awareness of the importance of regional levies.

Abstract

This study examines the main character, Forrest Gump, from Winston Groom’s 1986 novel. Despite being labeled an "idiot" and facing ridicule, Forrest achieves remarkable success. The research focuses on two key questions: how repression and sublimation are expressed in the novel. Using Sigmund Freud’s theories on defense mechanisms, the study explores Forrest’s psychological struggles and achievements. Freud’s concepts of consciousness (conscious, preconscious, and unconscious) and the structural model (id, ego, and superego) provide the framework for analyzing Forrest’s repression and sublimation. The research employs qualitative methods, including close reading of the novel, to collect and analyze data. Findings reveal that Forrest’s self-defense mechanisms manifest through his ability to overcome societal judgment and achieve greatness, highlighting the complexity of his character despite his perceived limitations. This study underscores the interplay between psychological defense mechanisms and personal success, offering a deeper understanding of Forrest Gump’s resilience and accomplishments.

Abstract

The BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program has low participation rates, particularly in the Informal Sector Workers (BPU) program. Informal sector workers can register as participants to obtain the same rights as formal sector workers. Increasing the number of participants requires effective marketing communication, especially in order to inform potential participants. Shield agents use personal selling to attract participants. This study aims to determine the marketing communication applied by Shield Agents in their efforts to increase participant enrollment in the informal sector. The study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological approach and data collection techniques, including interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results are divided into six stages. First, prospecting by identifying targets from the immediate environment and community. Second, the pre-approach is conducted by introducing product differences and building trust through ID cards and assignment letters. Third, presentations, brochures, and testimonials explain the benefits and fees. Fourth, objection handling involves exploring the reasons for objections and providing solutions. Fifth, closing focuses on convincing potential participants and assisting with registration. Sixth, follow-up aims to maintain loyalty and measure participant satisfaction. This strategy is expected to increase participant acquisition significantly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of lpmdinamika.co as an information delivery platform for students in Medan. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using in-depth interviews and content observation. Participants were selected from four universities in Medan: UIN SU, USU, Unimed, and UMSU. The findings reveal that lpmdinamika.co is considered effective in terms of accessibility, content consistency, and relevance. The website is utilized not only by UIN SU students but also by students from other universities, indicating its broad reach and inclusiveness. Additionally, keyword insights show high engagement with campus-related topics, student opinions, and academic content. Despite these strengths, the study also identifies several technical issues, such as inappropriate ads and occasional slow access, which may hinder user experience. These challenges highlight the importance of regular website maintenance and improvements in technical infrastructure. Overall, lpmdinamika.co fulfills its function as a digital campus media platform that meets student information needs, yet continuous enhancement is essential to maintain its reliability and effectiveness.
