Abstract

A fingerprint recognition system aims to identify individuals. The main challenge in fingerprint recognition is the low quality of the images. This low quality can be attributed to various factors, including oily or dry skin types and the type of fingerprint scanner used. Therefore, efforts are made to improve the fingerprint image quality, as it is a crucial factor in determining the accuracy of fingerprint recognition results. To make dirty fingerprint images more interpretable by both humans and machines, quality improvement is necessary by minimizing the dirty areas. This research aims to enhance the quality of dirty fingerprint images using the Gabor filter method and the learning vector quantization method for testing. The testing is conducted using four images for training in each class. There are a total of 10 classes in this testing, with each class consisting of 10 images. In the testing phase, with 75 dirty fingerprint images, an accuracy rate of 33.3333% is achieved.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the relationship between emotional intelligence and science learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SD Nur Fadhilah Medan, Academic Year 2022/2023. The type of research used is correlational research with quantitative research methods. The sample in this study were fifth grade students at SD Nur Fadhilah, Medan Marelan District, Medan City Regency, totaling 110 people. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires or questionnaires and science learning outcomes. Questionnaire data collection instrument with a two-point Guttman Scale for each answer. Based on the results of the correlation of the relationship between the variable emotional intelligence (X) on science learning outcomes (Y) with a correlation coefficient of 0.087 with a very low level of relationship category, while from the list r obtained rtable of 1.874 at α = 0.05, then rcount < rtable (0.087 <1.874). So it can be concluded that emotional intelligence has no significant relationship to the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Nur Fadhilah Medan with the result of the coefficient of determination between variables that is 8%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of professional flip pdf based e-modules. This research method is the ADDIE development model. The data collection used was interviews, questionnaires and test instruments. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative. Validation was carried out by material experts, media experts and practitioner experts by class III educators. The results of the analysis show that the product developed in the form of an e-module falls into the very feasible category. Based on validation: 1) Learning material experts get an average percentage of 85%; 2) Learning Media Expert with an average percentage of 81%; 3) Expert Practitioner with an average percentage of 92%. And continued with the distribution of Pre-Test and Post-Test questions to Class III with a total of 20 students, an average Pre-Test score of 56.5 was obtained, increasing from the average Post-Test result of 85.75. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that the professional flip pdf based e-module developed is effective in improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of student learning difficulties in learning computers and basic networks in class Xl at SMKN 1 Ranah Ampek Hulu Tapan for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research is descriptive using a quantitative approach using a questionnaire. The population in this study was class Xl students at SMKN 1 Ranah Ampek Hulu Tapan using a saturated sampling technique. The results of this research show that the learning difficulties of class, 5) Family skills at 72%, 6) Community skills at 75%. The results showed that class Xl students at SMKN 1 Ranah Ampek Hulu Tapan. The 2023/2024 school year has a level of student learning difficulty in the "Good" category, with the lowest percentage of family skills getting a score of 72%, while the highest percentage of school skills gets a score of 87%. Based on the ANOVA output, it is known that the significance value (sig) is 0.743 > 0.05, so it can be concluded that the average learning difficulty of students from each occupational group of farmers, traders and entrepreneurs is "SAME" in significance.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to prove the effectiveness of visual motion learning media products in Class IV Indonesian language learning at SDN 091355 Urung Panei. The type of research used in this research is research and development (R&D) with a 4D model. This research and development was carried out at SDN 091355 Urung Panei which is located in Purba District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra. The subjects of this research and development were 26 class IV students at SD 091355 Urung Panei. The object of this research is the development of motion visual media in Indonesian language learning. The results of the research show that visual motion learning media is successful in improving student learning outcomes and increasing students' interest inlearning, and educational videos with animation are positive enough to be used in learning and meet the criteria "Very effective". In cycle I, student learning outcomes were obtained with an average of 43,53 with a percentage level of completeness of student learning outcomes of 0% and in cycle II, student learning outcomes were obtained with an average of 86,67 with a percentage level of completeness of student learning outcomes of 100%. This has increased from Cycle I to Cycle II by 100%. The results of the research above prove that using visual motion media can improve student learning outcomes in thematic learning theme 8 subtheme 3 class IV SDN 091355 Urung Panei.
