Abstract

A project tends to experience delays if planning and control are not carried out properly. Various things can happen in a construction project that can cause an increase in processing time so that project completion is delayed. The purpose of this research is to identify and classify the factors that cause delays in the "XYZ" project. This data processing uses the help of the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) computer program version 23.00. Data analysis techniques using validity, reliability and factor analysis techniques. The results of this study obtained 3 new factors from the extraction results of factor analysis, namely: Lack of Expertise and Slow Material Mobilization (Xb1), Lack of Planning and Inadequate Quality of Workforce (Xb2), Changes in Scope and Work Documents (Xb3).

Abstract

Government infrastructure projects in water resources projects generally apply a unit price contract system. This is because implementing a unit price contract system is not difficult and is balanced in terms of sharing risks from contract changes between providers and users of construction services. In the unit price contract system, it is very possible for contract changes to occur on construction projects. Changes in the implementation of construction projects can occur repeatedly and are difficult to avoid. The aim of the research is to identify the factors that cause Contract Change Orders and the dominant factors that cause them during the implementation phase of construction projects in the water resources sector. The research was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents involved in water resources construction project work at the Padang Pariaman PUPR Service for the 2019 to 2021 budget year and then carrying out factor analysis. In research on the factors that cause Contract Change Orders to occur during the implementation phase of water resources construction projects in Padang Pariaman Regency, there are 4 factors that cause Contract Change Orders during the implementation phase of water resources construction projects, namely managerial factors, regulatory factors. from parties who have the authority to make decisions, planning factors, design change factors. The dominant factor that causes the Contract Change Order to occur during the implementation stage of a water resources construction project is the managerial factor.

Abstract

From the results of initial observations, it was found that the irrigation network management system in irrigation areas in Dharmasraya district was not managed properly and optimally, so that the impact was that many irrigation channels were found that were damaged and not well maintained. The purpose of this study was to identify the dominant factors and factors that influence the performance of the irrigation system in the three irrigation areas in Dharmasraya Regency, as well as to optimize the operation and maintenance of the network. This study used a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Abstract

The train is a means of land transportation that continues to experience improvements in its services. Services and regulations change with the times, thus making PT. The Railways are making efforts to improve quality in terms of service, comfort and safety where all trains use AC facilities and eliminate all hawkers who sell on trains and at train stations in order to provide comfort to passengers. From these changes, each mode of transportation, especially the Gajayana Executive Train and the Jayabaya Executive Train, has different characteristics in terms of travel time and travel fare. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the probability of train selection based on the factors reviewed by distributing questionnaires and using the Stated Preference method to obtain primary data. The data obtained was then analyzed using Binomial Logit regression with Microsoft Excel software. From this research, significant results were obtained regarding the probability value of choosing a mode of transportation based on the difference in ticket prices of IDR. 40,000,- then the PKAG probability value is 0.226 and the PKAJ probability value is 0.774. So it can be concluded that respondents have more interest in the Jayabaya Executive Train because ticket prices are cheaper than the Gajayana Executive Train. Meanwhile, the probability value for choosing a mode of transportation is based on the travel time difference of -62 minutes, so the PKAG probability value is 0.904 and the PKAJ probability value is 0.096. So it can be concluded that respondents have more interest in the Gajayana Executive Train because the travel time is faster.

Abstract

The need for parking space in the land use planning system for congregational activities becomes very important along with the increasing number of vehicle users. Mosque areas with dense activity centers require sufficient parking space to facilitate access. The mosque congregation's activity center in the Tangkuban Perahu mosque activity zone requires easy access. to the parking lot. The activity system of congregational activities with high physical activity requires an assessment of parking needs in accordance with the activity system. Analyzing parking space requirements based on system performance is the main objective of this research. In particular, the research objective is based on analyzing parking duration. Frequency and accumulation Vehicles in the parking area are a typical impact of the mosque congregation's activity system. The analysis method based on parking space units is analyzed based on the parking method with variables that influence vehicle use in the activity system in the sports activity zone. Parking user characteristic variables are based on vehicle user survey responses from the activity system.

Abstract

The influences of shells utilization as smooth aggregate replacement by using sands beach on the concrete compressive strength and the quality of k-200, the use of smooth aggregate substitutes, such as manually broken clam shells and beach sand obtained from Paciran, Lamongan Regency. The mixture used in making concrete is concrete with quality K-200 (fc'16.60 Mpa). Concrete sand will be replaced by 50% with beach sand, and mixed variations will be carried out with the addition of shells by 10%, 15%, and 20%. The test results show that the average compressive strength of normal concrete is 16.60 Mpa. For a mixture with shell waste by 10% and sea sand by 50%, the average compressive strength value is 15.09 Mpa. In a mixture with shell waste by 15% and sea sand by 50%, the average compressive strength value is 14.62 Mpa. While in a mixture with shellfish waste of 20% and sea sand of 50%, the average compressive strength value is 14.13 Mpa. The concrete variant with the highest average compressive strength value is the normal variant with a value of 16.60 Mpa, while the concrete variant with the lowest average compressive strength value is the variant with shell waste of 20% and sea sand of 50%, with a value of 14.13 Mpa.

Abstract

Recent building construction projects increasingly prioritize the integration of architectural (design) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) aspects as key elements to achieve effective and sustainable projects. This study aims to explore the close relationship between architecture and MEP in building construction projects and how integrating the two can provide optimal results. This article discusses the important role of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology in supporting the integration of architecture and MEP. BIM enables architecture and MEP professionals to work collaboratively in an integrated virtual environment, facilitating monitoring, coordination, and early identification of design conflicts. The results showed that effective use of BIM can create more efficient projects in terms of planning, execution, and maintenance. In addition, the study explores planning strategies that support the integration of architecture and MEP, including the selection of environmentally friendly materials, optimal spatial design, and energy efficiency. Comprehensive, sustainable planning can reduce environmental impact, reduce energy consumption, and reduce long-term operating costs. Project control in the context of architectural integration and MEP is also the focus of this study, with emphasis on construction quality monitoring, cost control and risk management. The success of a project often depends on careful control of these aspects. Therefore, this research provides insight into the integration of architecture and MEP in building construction projects and shows how this comprehensive approach can improve efficiency, sustainability, and sustainability as well as overall project outcomes.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) reinforcement on the mechanical properties of concrete, by testing the compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength, and shear strength of concrete with and without CFRP reinforcement. The results of the study show a significant improvement in all aspects after the application of CFRP. Specifically, the compressive strength of concrete consistently increases after CFRP reinforcement, with CFRP 2 Layer reinforcement showing the highest increase. Similarly, the tensile strength and flexural strength of concrete also experience significant improvement after CFRP reinforcement, indicating better resistance to compression and tension. Lastly, CFRP reinforcement has a significantly positive impact on the shear strength of concrete, with an increase of up to 123% after the application of CFRP 2 Layers. These results indicate a substantial potential for improving the performance of concrete structures through the use of CFRP, with the greatest improvement observed in shear strength.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the main factors that influence vehicle speed. Analyzing the level of service on the West Ring Road 3 in Kenali Besar, Jambi City. Researchers use quantitative methods where data is taken by carrying out direct observations in the field. The objects aimed at by researchers are road geometric data, vehicle volume, vehicle travel time, traffic volume and vehicle speed obtained by conducting surveys and direct measurements in the field. The main factor that influences vehicle operational speed is the number of motorized vehicles and heavy vehicles that exceed road capacity. Where the average number of light vehicles at peak hours is 8,434 and heavy vehicles 1,524. With the average highest speed of motorized vehicles being 30 KM/hour and heavy vehicles 15/14 KM/hour. Level of Service on the West Ring Road Section 3 with a Degree of Saturation value from the direction of Pall 10 - Simpang Rimbo or vice versa from the direction of Simpang Rimbo - Pall 10 has a service value of C (0.45-0.74) in the stable flow zone. Abstract

A mosque is a building where Muslims carry out mass/congregational or individual worship, as well as other activities related to Islamic culture. Mosques have an important role in accommodatang all the needs of their users without exception. Congregants who come are not only adults but children, men and women, people with disabilities with all their limitations. Several facilities for people with disabilities have been provided but need to be improved for comfort. and user safety. So, a real solution is needed to be able to solve this problem. In architecture, there is an approach known, namely inclusive architecture which highly upholds the equal rights of every individual in their activities and activities in the Al Kamil Panenjoan Sumedang Mosque. The lack of guiding blocks and signage will certainly make it difficult for pilgrims to come, especially for people with disabilities. By implementing inclusive architecture at the Al Kamil Panenjoan Sumedang Mosque, it is hoped that it can accommodate and facilitate accessibility to this area, especially for people with disabilities.
